I am a shameless romance addict with no intentions of ever kicking the habit. Growing up I dreamed of entertaining people and taking them on fantastical journeys with my acting abilities, until I came to the realization as a college sophomore that I had none to speak of. Another ten years would pass before I discovered a different means to accomplishing the same dream: writing stories of love and passion for addicts just like me.I have always loved romance stories and I try to tie all the elements I like about them into my writing.
This was a wonderful way to end the series! The only thing better would have been every family from the previous books appear in this one somehow.
A Bride to Soothe His Heart
I loved this audio book. I'm growing fond of the narrator, and I really enjoyed the story! I don't think I've ever read a storyline similar!
Dreams of a Bride
Even though this is another long series and we have key characters from town that intermingle in the series, each book is unique! I love this traveling performance story. It's not quite a circus, but I love that the heroine is a dog trainer, and they do amazing tricks for their performance! I loved this story and the narration!
Misled Mail Order Bride
Another great one. While this storyline is common in mail order bride books, I still felt a lot of uniqueness about it. I loved how the family and the community accepted her instantly, even if Billy didn't want to! Great narration!
This review is for the entire Daisy Creek Brides collection. The entire series is filled with sweet, compassionate books set in Nebraska. Each bride (or groom!) brrings a different backstory, and each shows a bit more of the historic times that led to the Matrimonial Times concept. I truly enjoyed each book in the series, and I hope there are more. Ms Rose has done a great job in presenting her writing, from the clear, concise plots to the grammatical consistency so necessary to good reading. Thanks for sharing your talent in this great set of goodreads, Ms Rose. It is much appreciated and enjoyed!
I have read all twelve of the Daisy Creed Brides books. This is the tales of the people that have come to make this small town their home . it includes all of their ups and downs that go with finding true love, happiness and sometimes the forgiveness that's necessary for this to happen. The pages are filled with adventure, excitement, mystery and even a tad bit of humor. You will enjoy discovering how each of these folks find their happyly ever after.
I love all the books I do however, wish that there were more interaction with previous characters. There is some but would love more. Also I find it odd that most couples only have one maybe two children but in that era most families had a large number of children. i love all the characters and would really love to read more about them. Also what happened to the wedding receptions being held at the bar?
The last book, the Misled Mail Order Bride, the story of Billy Fox and Luna, is my favorite of all four books in this collection. Amelia Rose's prose is well written, with only one error in 796 pages, where the Mayor's wife is called Phoebe. Her name is Heather, and Joshua and Heather's romance is another favorite, heartbreaking and uplifting. I'm so excited because I'll next be reading books 13 - 16 of Daisy Creek Brides. Yay!!!!
I love this series look forward to the next part . DAISY CREEK BRIDES BOOKS 9-12 INSPIRATIONAL WESTERN COWBOY ROMANCE DAISY CREEK BRIDES COLLECTION BOOK 3 BY AMELIA ROSE . I recommend teens and up .
I really didn't dislike any of it. I was always enthralled. And could not wait to pick it up to read. I would have loved to hear more about some of the first families, like the Bankers family and Lois family.
eh enjoyed this series, the nooks are all realistic and enterestimg. A joy to read and keeps me looking forward yo the next page. Keep up the great work, and I'll keep buying them with joy. Thanks for the great reads, I just love them ,
I thoroughly enjoyed this Series. It is nice to read multiple books with the same characters. I recommend this author and series to all who enjoy Wild West romance.
A wonderful tale of a possible disaster by a caring brother! A beautiful ending for a girl who had lost her family and o e who took her in and loved her and made her a part if theirs!
The Daisy Creek Brides series has made me want a horse and beeswax candles. But most importantly, it has taught me what community means even when you’re new in town as a mail-order bride.
I loved all the people of Daisy Creek. I loved the strong women, and them having the chance to pave the way for women in the role not meant for them in this world.
I have read the entire series 16 books! All of them well worth the read! I highly recommend them all. Start with book 1 and work your way up because the characters carry over from book 1 through 16.
