I liked that this journal asked some good questions to get you to think about your relationship with God and how to apply the principles taught in the Old Testament. I liked that there were quotes and scriptures to help get you thinking. I also liked that the questions got you to think and that there were some facts to help with focusing your study. This is a really useful study resource.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

Whether you're good at scripture study or struggle with it as I do, this manual is a wonderful resource. Each page has a "Talking Point" to help the reader think about how the scriptures connect with experiences in their own life. I also like the "Real Fact" section that gives background information or quotes. This manual is wonderful at helping us understand how the Old Testament applies to us today. I use this in addition the the Come Follow Me family manual.

I received a digital copy for review. Opinions and thoughts expressed are my own.

I hate to admit it, but I am not good at personal scripture study. I tend to rush through it and call it good without pondering the principles and stories that I have read.

For someone like me, this is a great tool. This is a scripture journal. The authors help me to take a closer look and figure out how the scriptures take a role in my life. At 5% into the book, the question is asked "What role does tolerance play in letting God prevail in how you interact with others?" Wow! What a powerful concept to ponder in the world we live in today.

This is a fantastic resource to add to your personal study of "Come Follow Me". I plan on using it throughout the year as I try to increase my spirituality.
