'Get It How You Live' is the dramatic tale of three beautiful, fly gotta have it all sisters.
Shuga, Kat, and Bree are all living with secrets that, once revealed, will ruin them. Living life with no morals, only to protect what they value. Eventually, they get a dose of, 'what goes around comes around.'
Shuga is a manipulative, money-hungry, deceptive con artist who does not care who she exploits, even if it's her own flesh and blood. Racing with life, her goal is to trick the biggest baller in the city of Atlanta. She lives her whole life with the mentality of me first until she enters a forbidden affair. Then she wants to fall in love.
Kat is a recovered addict and ex-prostitute. Fresh from doing a bid for murder, she meets the man of her dreams. They would have a 'happy ever life, ' except their secrets run too deep.
Bree was always determined not to be like her older sisters, even though it was inevitable. Destiny leads her to Quent, where the fast life was on full display, and now she is trying to do anything to keep up.
'Get It How You Live' reads like its title. The characters get a full return on life just as they lived it. This dynasty read is full of revengeful acts with raw, blunt, real-life dialogue with a homegirl narrative and full of complex characters that will make lasting impressions on your soul.

As an adult Tamika's writing career did not begin until destiny led her to a prison cell. Never one to let anything trip her swag, Tamika used prison time to pen "Gutta Gyrls" and other books. She is the author of 13 novels, several short stories and a play.
Her first published novel is "Get It How You Live." Tamika considers herself a connoisseur of Urban/Slang Lingo/Street Literature.
She is currently working on a new novel entitled "A Man's World."

THIS WAS A GOOD BOOK ... IN REALITY MANY WOMEN & MEN LIVE THEIR LIVES LIKE THESE CHARACTERS ... I HAVE TO AGREE IT WAS A HAPPY AND A SAD BOOK TO VISIT .. GOOD OR BAD ... THE END WAS TRAGIC .. THE LESSON GIVEN N MY OPINION WAS... .. KARMA IS REAL ... TREAT PEOPLE HOW... YOU WOULD LIKE 2 B TREATED !

This author has a vivid imagination. It's a must read, very hard to put the book down. I dare say it would make a great movie. It has a lot of action...and a lot of tragedy.
