I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.

Ellie works as a nurse in paediatrics in ICU but things are getting on top of her at the moment so when her supervisor finds her having a panic attack after a scary incident and she basically orders her to take some leave. Heading up to the mountains of Westlake for some time alone, her time is drawing to a close so decides that now is the time to hike up to the hot springs. However after she hurts her knee and manages to stumble on to private property during a sudden thunderstorm and she’s suddenly in danger of becoming a bears snack things aren’t going the way she’d planned. Just when she’s given up hope of getting out of this unscathed Cooper turns up, this man of the mountains unhappily tales pity on her and let’s her stay at his cabin but the more she learns about this man the more she can’t resist him. When this weekend is over will she be leaving her heart behind on the mountain and could what they shared really be a fling?

Cooper moved to the mountains a few years ago seeking solace whilst he is searching for someone in his past. So when he finds Ellie accidentally stumbling on to his property he knows he will have to intervene. He’s immediately attracted to this woman and offers her a few days to stay with him, they both have a connection that surprises him and when she leaves after two days he can’t deny the hole she’s leaving behind but he has secrets and he’s trying to save his sister. If Ellie learns the truth he’s scared she will turn her back on him for good. Will Cooper get the happy ever after he deserves or are his secrets too much to ask anyone to deal with?

Love this authors books and each one of this series I have read so far have been better than the last. I highly and I do mean highly recommend this author and especially this series of books. This was yet again a danger filled, exciting, action packed steamy read. 5* read.

This book has everything, love, passion, gun & knife fights, Helicopters and babies. It’s the first book I can say that surprised me with where the storyline went. It exciting, thrilling, action packed story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. Will be looking out for more from Lexi Hart.

When past and present collide
This story is about Elinore and Cooper. Ellie works as a nurse in the Paediatrics ICU of a Chicago hospital. Her supervisor found her having a panic attack and ordered her to take some leave. Cooper was also from the city, but moved out to the quiet solace of the mountains in Utah six months ago. And that’s precisely the area Ellie escapes to for her much-needed break.
As her time in Westdale quickly draws to a close, she decides to head up the mountain to see the hot springs. During this hike, she hurts her knee, stumbles upon private property, tripping Cooper’s alarm. And she’s also about to walk into the path of a big bear, all during a thunderstorm! Cooper can’t not intervene, no matter how much he doesn’t like trespassers.
He helps her and keeps her safe. There’s a definite attraction there, and I’m not sure they could resist. They’re all sorts of hot and steamy – had to fan myself a few times! BUT… they’re both a bit frustrating too. I don’t want them to simply use each other as a distraction or whatever they call it. It’s obvious to me they share a real connection, along with their sizzling-hot chemistry. He may be an alpha male but they BOTH need rescuing, and I think they can do that for each other – if only they’d let that happen… They are really helping each other, but their stubbornness is frustrating! URGH! She may realise she doesn’t just want a weekend fantasy, but it’s probably too late for that!
And all of the additional drama… WOW! This pair just can’t cop a break! There’s so much going on, and I don’t want to spoil it for other readers. But, do that… have a read and find out. You’ll be glad you did! My head is STILL spinning from it all!

Let me start by saying that, in my opinion, this is the best book in the Wild Weekend With-series so far!
It has all the feels: it’s a romantic suspense novel (like the others), packed with heat but it also made me cry at a certain point (and that rarely happens).

Ellie, a nurse in PICU on leave, decides to follow a hiking trail towards some hot springs that might soothe her bad knee.
Then suddenly there is a bear! Luckily for her, Cooper is there to help. Since her knee is really hurting, Cooper invites her to stay a few days in his cabin. During this time, they get to know each other quite good.....in a physical way mostly.

Initially you don’t know much about both main characters because they both have their secrets, but slowly their backgrounds are revealed and, one at a time, all questions will be answered. You get to know Ellie and Cooper really well.
There was a twist I didn’t see coming, and I love the fact that it’s not a predictable story (apart from the HEA of course). It starts out great and keeps gettin better and better. Keeps you glued to the pages.

Ellie never expects a handsome homeowner, Cooper, to save her from a bear when she got lost on a hike. Cooper invites Ellie to get out of the rain and stay for the weekend. The only things Cooper and Ellie have in common are the hot chemistry between them and that they both hate their parents. After all they both are here to get away from reality. A weekend fling should help them both to relax. Except it doesn’t stay that way. Cooper’s reality catches up with him and he has to face his responsibility. What he shouldn’t and can’t resist is to involve Ellie. Ellie witnesses the real Cooper and runs away. Cooper is a well trained killer, but he has a good heart. Involving innocent bystanders is never his interest. He tries to make it up to Ellie, selfishly and unselfishly. He digs up Ellie’s hidden past and gives her to truth. Having a love affair with a handsome and dangerous guy on vacation is an ultimate fantasy. The crazy people appear and things happen after make the whole thing a rollercoaster ride. The story is very entertaining.

This book is fantastic! Hot, steamy and a bit emotional, it's a great story and well worth reading! Ellie is a PICU nurse who needs a break after a traumatic incident at work. Staying at her boss's cabin, she finds herself lost when she stumbles upon Cooper and his cabin. They spend a hot and steamy weekend together but in the end, she walks away. He's hurt but let's her go as he has another pressing issue about to knock on his door, his sister. Trying to get her away from the bad crowd she's hanging with, Ellie manages to learn the truth about what Cooper's business is when she is brought in to help. When she walks away angry, Cooper tries everything he can to get her back, including telling her the truth about her past and the death of a loved one.

One wild and hot weekend

Well sign me up to be rescued from a bear by a man like Cooper, especially if you get one hot and super sexy weekend together. In One Wild Weekend With Cooper Ellie is the one getting rescued when there is a bear on the path she is hiking. It is Cooper who hears her screams and comes to save her. Lucky for her as they end up with one majorly scorching hot weekend. But not all is right in the land of super satisfaction with all the Big O's you can handle... and then some. Will they end up with a HEA together or will they end up with something else?
I enjoyed this book and found the story-line was a major thrill ride along with having some major sizzling heat.

This story has it all! You will get some crazy danger, suspense, action, family friction/conflict, friendship, deception, grief and I don’t want to forget about sizzling chemistry, passion, so much heat and some sexy hotness! It is a fast paced, page-turner. You have hunky alpha male, mysterious, ex military man Connor. Connor is up in his cabin when he rescues Elli. Elli is a intensive care nurse who is intelligent, strong female who is experiencing some loss in her life, injured and lost. I was hooked from the first page to the last. There are so many twists and turns that it keeps you on your toes. This is a great read! You won’t be disappointed.

This was a great new4 story by Lexi Hart. It grabbed me at page one and I could not stop until I got to the very last page. It has drama, angst, romance and suspense that will keep you reading. After a traumatic experience working in the PICU leaves her with PTSD, Ellie travels to her boss's cabin for a chance to recover. Deciding to explore, she comes face to face with a bear only to be rescued by a sexy mountain man. Cooper has his own problems and his secrets to deal with but he cannot help but want to protect Ellie. What begins as a distraction turns into so much more. But will they be willing to chance on each other or will their obstacles be too much to overcome?

Cooper is hiding from the world and searching for a woman from his past when he stumbles on Ellie is a PICU nurse that is dealing with PTSD and panic attacks related to her job. She runs into a bear at his cottage hideaway and he rescues her. They explore each other for a weekend and then go their separate ways. Will they get back together and find their HEA or will his past and her trauma and refusal to get help get in the way of that? Love this author and all of her books. Recommend highly.

Ellie and Cooper each have their hidden secrets. Ellie is just trying to survive day by day. She needs to get her act together in order to keep her job. Cooper is just trying to get away from his hectic life. These two turn to each other for some sexy fun times. Too bad for them, that feelings get involved. During some very dangerous circumstances, they each realize that they need to learn to deal with their past. Very entertaining story that keeps you interested. I would have enjoyed a little more information regarding the ending, but over all, I highly recommend this book.

Full of twists and turns

This story is very well written, hot, surprising, and because it starts out as a romance that seems simple, and then it evolves through discovering the profession of the main character, Cooper. Moreover, between secrets, remorse and acceptance, there is a long way for the heroine, Elie, a pediatric nurse.
I liked the story a lot, but found the ending a bit short. I would have like to know what would happen after in order to conclude on the different lives, even those of the secondary characters.

Elinore, a PICU nurse had experienced a traumatic event at her work place and was put on leave to physically and mentally recover. Cooper happened to be in the same area she was recuperating.
I do not want to give anything away, just to tell you not to miss this book from Lexi Hart. She brings hours of pleasure while reading her books.

Another super hot read from Lexi. This time though the story line is very different, its not your usual girl meets boy, have a wild weekend then HEA - theres a lot more than that especially for a short read. Ellie a PICU nurse is on leave and doesn't know if she can return to her job. She meets the mysterious Cooper, and while they do have a very wild weekend the future for them is not so cut and dried.

Getting lost in the woods is the least of the problems Ellie needs to deal with. Cooper finds her on his property and immediately feels the need to take care of her. Even though each are keeping massive secrets, the connect on a physical level and wonder if it can be more than that.

A bit naughty with a whole bunch of heart!

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose sleep because I couldn't wait another day to read it!

This was again a great story!
Both characters have a lot of issues they need to process and along the way they find each other but it isn’t easy.
I really loved the chemistry between Ellie and Cooper and how he is so protective about Gabby.

This story is about Ellie and Cooper. Ellie is a nurse in a Chicago hospital who is a bit stressed to the point of panic attacks and needs some down time to relax. Cooper had recently moved out of the city to enjoy the quiet mountains away from everything.

As Ellie’s vacation is almost over, she makes a last trip up the mountain to find the hot springs, but her knee is injured and uncomfortable. Fortunately, she trips an alarm that alerts Cooper of her presence, especially as she is about to encounter a bear! Because of her knee pain, he offers to let her stay with him at his cabin to rest. It gives them time to get to know each other. Rescued by her knight, the two of them feel an attraction that deepens as they spend more time together. But they have secrets that just may have an impact on them. They need to work through their issues if they ever want to find peace and happiness. Can they help each other? Or will they just go their separate ways?

There will be twists the reader won’t see coming as more of the story plays out. Grab your copy and don’t miss the surprise ending!
