About the author

Brenda Mohammed is a prolific, multi-award-winning author from Trinidad and Tobago, with 67 published books spanning science fiction, memoir, mystery, romance, poetry, and three screenplays.
She is an author turned screenwriter. Her horror thriller, ZEEKA AND THE ZOMBIES, is a finalist in the Film and Screenplay contest 2025 by 13 Horror.com.
Her gripping Caribbean sci-fi saga Zeeka Chronicles has been adapted into a five-part screenplay, primed for film or television.
Her third screenplay is based on her romance novel, A GIFT OF LOVE.
Before her literary ascent, Brenda was a trailblazer in banking and insurance, rising to senior leadership at a local bank and earning international recognition as a top-tier financial professional. Her career helped shape communities and drive economic growth across Trinidad and Tobago.
She also excelled in insurance, earning the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table qualification six times and a Life Underwriting Fellowship from the American College, USA.
Her writing journey began after surviving a near-fatal battle with cancer.
That experience birthed ‘I Am Cancer Free,’ a bestselling memoir that won global acclaim. Brenda’s works have since earned honours across five continents—including the PLATO Award, Socrates Award, and Dante Alighieri Award from CIESART Spain, Reader’s Favorite International Awards (USA), Author Academy Awards, Literary Global Awards, and the CLR Award (India).

Founder of the How to Write for Success Literary Network, Brenda has mentored countless writers and published anthologies and magazines that uplift voices worldwide. The second Magazine in How to write for Success Literary Forum was launched this month of September and makes enjoyable reading.
This magazine contains articles and poems by the Founder, Mrs. Brenda Mohammed and the Administrators of the group.
Each Chief Administrator has written an Article and a Poem based on his or her individual Sub Forum for example:
Literary Forum for Poems Against Domestic Violence
Poems for Prevention of Suicide Literary Forum
Library of How to Write for Success - BOOKS ONLY and
Grupo Hispaniomundial De Escritores -UHE Trinidad and Tobago.

A copy of the 2nd Issue (September 2021) of the HTWFS Magazine at hand and having read same. All I see is a team of collective individuals committed toward championing a future of human causes, the likes of dignity for life (Poems For Prevention Of Suicide Literary Forum), espousing of peace in the home and in the world by extension (Literary Forum For Poems Against Domestic Violence), incentive for more literary creativity and its promotion (Library Of How To Write For Success-Books Only) etc.
This magazine covers a whole range which includes and not exclusive of:
The monthly five-star competition which attracts the brightest of literary luminaries across the world as they weave scintillating verses of down to earth, and day-to-day challenging topical issues.
