This story has been building behind the scenes from the beginning of the Heart series when we were all focused on Caelan and Sofia. But if you were paying attention, you'll have picked up on that undeniable chemistry and the underlying tension between Luke and Jess and wanted more of their story from the beginning. Michelle does not disappoint in bringing these two together. The usual wit, friendship, secrets, and action we've come to expect from her elite eight is played out in a story that grips and keeps us intent on turning those pages. Yes, she made us wait for this one, but it was worth every tormented second!

Goodness gracious, this book! I've been looking forward to this story for awhile and she did not disappoint! The authors writing is fantastic. There weren't any lull moments at all. It was like I was watching a movie. This is definitely not to be passed up. Jessica and Luke's story is book 4 in this series, I think it can definitely be read as a standalone. It has been awhile since I read the previous books, I wasn't lost, it flowed pretty well.
Jessica and Luke's book delves into alot of issues. There are secrets to be revealed, the intensity of this book, like woahhhh. As things progressed in the book, past issues are revealed, Jessica and Luke are so meant to be together but of course have to get through these humps in order to get to their happily ever after. I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down, just a complete page turner and am looking forward to more from this author!

It’s been a long time between books, but sooo worth the wait! Where the Chips May Fall is Luke and Jessica’s story. Added as one of my top reads this year, I love the elite eight and one hot bodyguard. I found myself laughing with the crew and had tears running down my cheeks at times. If you like books that make you feel all the emotions, throw in some angst and the steam turned up, then grab a copy today. If you haven’t read the first three books, you could read this one as a stand-alone but the first three books are exceptionally good reading.
Jessica has been groomed from an early age, she holds her cards close to her chest, she is fierce and sexy. Every choice she’s made was due to an event that happened six years ago. Queenie is playing in a sharks world, sitting at a table playing a very dangerous game. However she is vulnerable when she pulls you into her circle of trust.

It’s the reason why I’ve been nicknamed Queen of Hearts. I’m smart. I show no emotion. I can transform like a chameleon at the drop of a chip. I patiently wait to see where the chips fall-then break their hearts.
Oh my gosh this book! I don’t know why it took me so long to read this book. This year I’m not branching out for my romance and smutty romance books. I missed out on some many good books last year and my TBR list keeps growing. Jessica is one bad ass bitch and I want to be her. Luke- holy shit someone find me a guy like him ASAP! His love and protectiveness for Jessica 😍😍😍 sign me up. I also loved that the same characters from the previous books where also in this one. But there was also some twists. Holy shit the twists! Also, be prepared to shed some tears.

One Heck of a Ride
I love Caelen and Sophia. I really do. But Luke and Jess are fire. This book was a rollercoater from start to finish. My heart pounded with suspense and anticipation and pure adrenaline at time. What Jess has gone through is completely astounding and to finally come full circle with it all was just beautiful. Luke and his determination to get the girl can only be rivaled by Caelen. He knew what he wanted and wasn't going to back down. Though so many thing honestly could have, he didn't let it deter him. Watching him slowly tear down the walls both literally and figuratively to get the girl was beautiful. Now I'm off to the next book. Can't wait to read Skinny Love.

I loved Jess and Luke's story! It was so worth the wait. One of my favorite things about this book is that it is taking place at the same time as Sophia and Caelan's story. We finally learned what was being hinted at in the previous books. I couldn't put this book down and had it finished in no time. I can't wait for more books by Michelle! I love her writing style.

I can't help but state for the record again how grateful I am to already have 4 books into the Heart Series, because it cut down on wait times as I'm a very impatient person on a good day. Jess & Luke have been in the background of Sofia & Caelan's journey and I already could feel their chemistry in that trilogy within the series, so to get their story, well, it was a great thing in my addicted eyes. There's a ton going on in this book as well, as twists are coming in hot, my f-bombs dropping loud, and that edge of your seat hold your breath kind of excitement. Obviously that means there are some secrets, and we all know secrets don't make friends, but they make for intense betrayal though, which does get the heart beating faster. Once again, I ran the gamut of emotions as I devoured this story, with a bonus of super HOT sexy times to boot. Hit those one click buttons to experience this fantastic intensity for yourselves! Where The Chips May Fall by Michelle B. is book 4 in the Heart Series. This starts the story of Luke and Jessica. I have read the previous books, which did add to my enjoyment of this one. Jessica is a poker player who has been playing for years and plays in the darkness of danger with the poker games she enters into. We learn that Jessica had made decision a few years back that now have come back to her. Luke was the ultimate leading man who you can't get enough of. This book has its dangerous theme along with the steamy sections. For me this was a page turning read and I hope to read more from this author.

I feel like I've waited foreverrrrrr for this book, but it was worth every single day.... this one will pull on those heart strings..... you will question why Jess did the things she did.... Luke and Jess have this fire that has been sizzling for years until it becomes an inferno.... The elite eight as they call themselves are as thick as people can get.... nothing can shake their foundation, or so they thought.... truths come out, and secrets are revealed, turning the world they knew upside down..... this is full of suspense and hanging on the edge of your seat ... waiting for the ball to drop, guessing what's happening when, where, why ,how , and to who????? Can Jess help heal the friendship she almost destroyed ?? Can two crazy protective alpha males come to an agreement? Well you see when your family and as close as these eight are differences have to be worked out, even when you but heads.... Luke and Jess have one of those love stories written in the stars, nobody or nothing is gonna stop them from getting what they deserve, not even the devil himself... Michelle has a way of pulling you in and making you feel like your in the book, experiencing it all first hand.... Intense is an understatement....

Where The Chips May Fall is another mesmerizing addition to the Heart series. Luke and Jessica’s story is one that will have you hanging by a thread as your anxiety levels hit such highs that you are not sure whether your heart can hang on for the ride. You will be emotionally exhausted by the end of their story but believe me every little bit of angst, uncertainty and drama will be worth the enchanting ending. Their story will have you breathless, heated, frustrated and falling head over heels in love. These two characters walked a fine line with me at times between love and hate but as the secrets and revelations unraveled my heart was cracked wide open and love was all that was left. Their story is one that will wraps its way around your heart and hold tight to your soul. An impassioned and soul-stirring read that will remain with you long after the story has come to a close.

Could NOT wait to read this book. I read Michelle B’s trilogy and loved every one. “Where The Chips May Fall” exceeded my expectations, I could not put the book down. It sucked me in from the beginning and every time I thought I had it figured out...BAM another twist! I was excited, scared and literally wanted to scream sometimes! It’s a love story between Jessica and Luke, you will cry and root for their love together. The scenes between them are “steamy”......trust me!
I don’t want to give away to much, just read it! Tell your friends to read it, you will definitely want to talk about it!

One of the best reads!!! Another one of Michelle's books that I just could not put down. I was forcing my eyes to stay open so I could read more. It gives you all the feels and connects perfectly with the first 3 books! It clarifies so much and keeps you on your toes. Jess is the definition of a true bad ass but keeps her composure SO well!! All her little secrets all make sense now and they are MORE than you ever could have imagined. Luke ohhh Luke you will fall in love with his rebel side and the empire he runs. I can't wait to read Michelle's next book!

Such an amazing storyline and incredible writing. I was up all night because I couldn't put it down! It reallyy pulls you in and makes you feel like you're a part of the book because the characters are so realistic and human. I felt like I was right there next to them navigating this intense world of deceit and drama. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

This book was EVERYTHING! It’s been awhile since I’ve cried, I mean really cried f/a book. But this book had me bawling. My eyes got a little teary when Jagger first met his dad, then I did start to cry when Vadim asked Jess to sing w/him, & I was full blown crying w/the scene w/ Grey, Jess & Bash. Then I managed to stop, only to start all over again when Grey was telling Jess she needed to go back. Oh my gosh this book destroyed me at the end. I loved Sofia & Caelan’s story, but Luke & Jess’s blew theirs out of the water! I started suspecting what Jess’s big secret was early on, but I never suspected how Luke was tied into it. That was the best part. My heart broke a little for Vadim. He really loved Jess, & it was proven by everything he did for her. He risked a lot to keep her safe & was a true friend.
I have one more book left to read by Michelle & I know I’m going to be in withdrawal after I’m finished! I’ve come to absolutely love her writing and this series and group of friends is addicting! Onto Nikki & Chris’s story!

So!! I have only one book in the series left to read that is out....still waiting on Luca's book!!
That being said, I love this book. It was a book of secrets between Luke and Jessica and a beautiful yet scary love that comes to the forefront in the book. To be honest this one was more intense and sucked me in more then Sophia's story because I wanted to know who "The Devil" was and who "Him" was. I will also say that the ending was what you want to read but the few chapters before the end had me ugly crying while lying in bed reading. It was heart breaking and emotional. Good Job with this book and now I am on to Chris and Nikki!!!

While I somewhat liked the storyline, it just didn’t do it for me. The h was just unlikeable and wickedly stupid for someone who seems smart.
