I made the mistake of assuming that because this book was small and thin, it would be a simple introduction to Critical Theory and Theodor Adorno. I was looking for something like a “Sparknotes for Professors” to create a lecture for class. The book is written at a very high level, with complex topics and vocabulary and convoluted syntax. I could not wrap my head around it. If you already knew a lot about Critical Theory, it would probably be good, but I guess I need “Critical Theory for Dummies.” Did not finish.
