The Pages of Glass. Myth to some. Legend to others.
For the creature, Yal-hara, it is a truth which could reveal how to return to her own universe. And how she can choose other universes to conquer. Only one thing stands her way. The Parallel Society.
For Roni, the Pages are yet another mystery hidden by her grandmother, another piece of understanding the Society she is meant to lead, and another danger threatening her life and the lives of those she loves. Above all else, the Pages are to be guarded, kept safe, and never allowed in the hands of creatures like Yal-hara.
When these two powerful forces clash, the world may not survive.

Stuart lives in rural North Carolina, and for those who keep count, the latest animal listing is as follows: one dog, two cats, one albino corn snake, three aquatic turtles, assorted fish, seven chickens, and a horse. Thankfully, the chickens and the horse do not live inside the house.
After a long while, we are back in the Parallel Society Universe with Roni, her gram, Sully, Gully, and the rest of the gang. The book starts off with a bang with Roni is out on the town with Teanna when they run into both a creature and someone who knows about the Society. What follows is a play by Yal-hara to get back to her universe no matter the cost, and unfortunately the cost could be really high. I loved this installment with Roni really growing into her leadership with some of the reasons costing a little more than I liked. What am I talking about? Give this a try and find out! Great writing, interesting characters, and a satisfying conclusion. Highly recommend!
Yal-hara wants to get back to her own universe and then conquer other universes. The Parallel Society can't let that happen. Roni and Teanna are out dancing, having a few drinks, and having a good time. They run into a creature that cannot be from this world. There is a man with it that knows who Roni is. He knows all about the Parallel Society. He wants to become a member. Who is this guy? And where did he come from? Roni doesn't know how to deal with this and knows she must call her Gram right away. They meet at the bookstore and this man shows up there. This is when Roni learns about the Glass Pages. They must be protected at all times. This story will hook you on the first page and you will not be reeled in until the end. There are some edge-of-the-seat moments. Characters are fleshed out, the plot is well developed and the story is well written. Stuart gets an A+ for this story. I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily posting a review. My opinion is entirely my own.
What to do when you're never sure if people you meet are coincidences or your nemesis' plants? That's what Roni had to figure out in her new adventure against Yal - Hara along with her Parallel Society gang. She keeps growing on me and growing up, there's hope for our universe yet! A great read from start to finish, in-fact, if you like out-of-the box storylines, this one is quite the page turner from book 1 to now, never a dull moment, guaranteed!
