This book teaches us that all people, no matter the race or their background, or whatever, deserve love.

Shadow and Katie's Story . . .
This is Shadow and Katie’s story in a world where vampires are in control and capture witches to use their magical blood. Fortunately, an underground movement is fighting back to rescue the victims. Shadow, a hybrid shifter with scaly skin and a hunched back, was recruited by his cousin, Sadie, to help in a rescue attempt of the captive witches where he unexpectedly found his fated mate. His protective instincts were immediately aroused to keep her safe at all costs.
Katie is a rare pure-blood witch and has had her blood continually removed to the point where she knows she will die soon. When all seemed lost, Shadow rescues her and will do everything in his power to keep her safe. Will she recognize him as her mate? Could this be their HEA?

As if rescuing a witch from a vampire's lair were not crazy enough, our hero has to fall for her as well. In for a penny, in for a pound...
While this is book four of the series, it is also a spin-off/standalone, so you can read this one without having read the previous books.
This is an urban fantasy/paranormal romance story with witches, vampires and other critters. The story is very well written and easy to read, but the plot is a bit on the dark side. The setting and characters are both well developed and I really like our hero who is willing to help in spite of his gruff exterior. The story was fast paced and sucked me in from the beginning. Overall, it was a fun read and I look forward to going back for the earlier books.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Shadow's Quest, the fourth book in the Blood World series by Tamsin Baker and Amelia Shaw. I really enjoyed this fast paced quick read. We finally get more of Shadow's story and meet his faed mate, Katie. A fun read loaded with action, drama and sexy heat. This is a mature Readers Only read that can be read as stand alone.

This is a shifter love story. I think the world building is really good in this one. Vampires rule the city. There is danger, a bloodring, witches, and shifters in this story. I liked the characters. I thought the story was entertaining and easy to read. I would recommend the story.

Sharon's story
Shadow was just like his name. He had always loved there. He was strong, despite his strange shifter mix.
When they rescued the witches from the vampire blood ring, he was shocked to discover one of them was his fated mate and he would do anything to protect her, even if he lost his life. The bond was that strong.

Amazing Series
If you haven't already read any of this series you are missing out on some really great reading material!! Baker and Shaw make this world of vampires and Shifter's come to life. Where if you have magical blood you will end up on the menu and life as you know it will never be the same!!

This is a super paranormal/romantic suspense! I liked it very much.. There is a wonderful bond between Shadow and Katie.. Unexpected, and so sweet..

I enjoyed this story that stars Shadow as he meets and guards his mate from nasty vampires. It was cute, funny and a bit hot too. Loved how 2 damaged characters find love in the strangest way. Just a fun and entertaining story to the main series.

Shadow
I loved this story about Shadow and Katie. I always wondered about Shadow after reading about him in the other books of this series. Now I understand him much better. I loved Katie and her fighting spirit. I am sad to see this series end but loved all the books in it.

Shadow Quest
Tamsin Baker, & Amelia Shaw and the other Authors in this series have done such a great job on these stories. I recommend reading the series. I think you will love them as much as I do myself.

Kind of a Letdown!!
Just left too much open ended for me. Don’t get me wrong it was still a good story. I guess I expected more. Shadow and Katie shared a very special bond. Awful looking Book Covers on this series. On to the next series. 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜😊😊😊

The great plot was professionally written, and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
