Plausibly useful as a complement to a formal education, but almost completely unusable for independent study. Often gratuitously unhelpful, and uses terms without defining them or in ways that don't make obvious sense given the definitions given. I worked my way through a few chapters before realising that the trouble I was having following wasn't entirely down to me.
