Montana Sky: A Winter Love

Rate this book
This is the last thing she expected. The last thing she wanted. Yet, is it meant to be? When Elinor migrated west with her family, the last thing she expected was for sickness to take them all from her within months.

Now, she is left alone in their small cabin in the Montana wilderness, with winter approaching fast.

Elinor refuses to let her fear of the cold, hard months ahead defeat her. She is determined to survive and decides to place her trust in the capable hands of her neighbour, Liam.

The locals all describe Liam as a solitary ‘hermit’, who prefers to keep to himself -- which is why Elinor is surprised to find herself drawn to him in ways that aren’t necessarily respectable.

But with winter almost upon them, Elinor must put aside her attraction for Liam and trust him to teach her all she needs to know, if she is to have any chance of seeing the blue skies of spring once again.

Yet as the weeks pass and Elinor feels herself growing closer to her rugged neighbour, she begins to

Exactly how worthy is he of her trust?

Montana Sky is a heart-warming story about the strength of love, set in the challenging days of the old west. As Elinor and Liam work together to survive their harsh environment, will they also be able to avoid the biggest hazard of all -- love?

Started out like a flash!!! Then slowly meandered along & i lost interest. Some more interesting plot points happened later, but i thought the conflict was not that big of a deal. I also couldn’t picture the time period very well idk probably needed more descriptions and imagery.
I think this made me realize i enjoy the story more if there is a TON of details.

Happy family

After her family was destroyed by illness she spends an entire winter alone in the Montana wilderness thanks to the special neighbor who assisted her at times. Great story with happily ever after ending. Loved it!
