Elizabeth is a new to me author but I'm officially a lifetime fan!!! And all it took was this shortie!!!

I'm in love with these characters!

Ava, the newly heartbroken and unemployed Type A event planner who's on a Caribbean girl's getaway! All she wants is to drink her broken heart away...but her best friends have something else in mind. Their plans include finding Ava a man to bid on at the charity man auction in the bar of the exclusive resort they're staying at!

Said man just happens to be the 'bartender' who serves Ava the best shot of tequila she's ever had! Little does she know, Bret the 'bartender' has a few secrets up his sleeve.

I'll admit, I'm usually disappointed by shorties. They never give me enough...I'm left DYING for more details, more story, more character building. But Riptide didn't disappoint AT ALL! I feel completely satisfied by Bret & Ava's story!!!!! I loved the Caribbean setting, the imagery of the resort, and the true to life portrayal of girlfriends on vaca! The BDSM didn't go too far to believe, as these characters are virtual strangers after all. But don't get me wrong...the BDSM is H.O.T., Sensual, & Sexy.

Loved that book. I don't usually read bondage book. It's not my go to type of romance. I had won that book and decided to give it a try. And it was awsome. It's exciting, sensual and kind at the same time. Everyone need a Brett in their life.

The story was very stimulating! The idea of a date auction for resort guests was fun and for charity appropriate! The fact Ava started off by getting wasted was hilarious! The sparks and chemistry were hot! The whole date thing was well thought out. The rope play scene was exciting and well done if a little short! This story needs to be expanded on I found it to short! I think Iwill explore more of this authors work in future!

It was supposed to be a girls getaway to a beautiful Carribean resort to have some fun. Instead she was going to turn it into a forget all your troubles vacation and maybe keep herself in a drunken haze. However she had to go to the bar to accomplish that. Ava has sworn off men as that's the source of her troubles but that bartender is cute and flirts with her in such a nice way. The next thing she knows her girlfiends in the name of fun she's buying Brett in a charity auction and he's going to teach her how to have fun.
For such a short story Ms. SaFleur has shown us characters with depth and emotions.
Great book. I really enjoyed it.

What a delightful novella! Full of angst, lust and love! If you have read this series you met Bret, Derek's brother and I was excited to find there was a story about him. Bret lives on an island at one of his resorts and meets Ava there. She is looking to get away and find herself and she meets Bret. But she doesn't realize who he really is which makes this story all the better. She lets loose and tries to enjoy herself and Bret will do anything to make her happy. Sometimes when you meet someone, you just know in your heart that they are the one for you. But can Bret show Ava that life can be so much better? Will she stay with him? I truly enjoyed this book and recommend you read it along with the entire series. Truly enjoyable!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "RIPTIDE" This is such delightful short hot steamy Erotic romance you can't put down til finished.
Ava Hollins goes on a Caribbean girls get away to forget her broken heart nothing but drinks & fun nothing involving men but her friends have great plans for her.
The girls go to the men's charity auction they get Ava to bid the bartender that's been serving her best tequila drinks ever she doesn't realize Bret has some special talents up his sleeve.
I definitely recommend to get this book I fell in love with Bret & Ava their chemistry was scorching hot they were made for each other I thoroughly enjoyed this short story SOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!!

Bret and Ava

This is an excellent book.I discovered this series from the anthology " My Billionaire Valentine".In it was the story that actually follows this one," Lucky" about Bret's brother Derek.I stopped reading that book when I realized it was book #4 in a series.I bought the other books and started reading them in order.I will now officially read " Lucky".After saying all that,this novella" Riptide" is an excellent addition to the series Bret was a sweetheart and a hottie.Ava was so stiff,untrusting and leery of being hurt.This was a bit insta- love but very satisfying.This series introduced me to the author who was before this ,unknown to me.Well done.

This little story is an epic romance in 80 pages with all the feels we expect, my only complaint is now I want more.

I found this cute as well. Ava was a refreshing character who is so natural and authentic. She is a perfect match for Bret. I enjoyed these two in Lucky and I am so happy both brothers ended up with great women. I struggled a bit to visualize the rope bondage scene so I may have to look it up but overall, even if this was too fast falling in love type of story, it still felt authentic. The heart wants what it wants and when you find the right one then there is no letting go.

This was a fun store taking place in the Caribbean Islands. When Ava takes a trip with her girlfriends it couldn’t come at a better time. Her cheating boyfriend just fired her and she is down on her luck. A drunken night at a bachelor auction changes everything.

This story is loosely related to the Elite Doms of Washington series (Bret is Derek Damon Wright's brother and Ava and her friends are from DC). This is a short story and not a whole lot of background is given on Bret and Ava but you are given enough about each character that you don't feel cheated out of knowing the characters. When Ava drunkenly wins a date with Bret during a charity auction, Bret shows what kind of man he is when he takes care of a drunken Ava. Even though Ava has had her life upended by the last guy she was going out with, she decides to take a chance on a holiday fling with her "sex slave". The author injects a touch of humor into the story when Ava and her friends interact. The story is well paced and the author did a great job of weaving a story with humor, sex, and meaningful dialogue. I only wish there were an epilogue to tell us what happened with Bret and Ava. I would definitely recommend this book.

I love Bret Wright and Ava, he is honestly dream guy material.

I totally understand Ava's desire to drink away her problems for the week on vacation with her besties. Luckily, her BFF's have her back when she meets Bret and totally support this love at first sight romance while she struggles with the idea of leaving her old life behind. No one really just packs up and moves to the Caribbean after meeting a guy who is perfect for her right???

This book made me want to book a vacation to St Thomas soooo bad..... I want to go to one of Bret's resorts... maybe meet the guy.... see what happens....lol

I loved this little book - Ava and Bret had a rapport from the start that had me wanting to know where the story would end. Love the mention of Derek - let me know where this would go. Shel is a brilliant friend and Ava needed that push. Great little read leading to bedtime - I really enjoy Elizabeth SaFleur’s books and this was another keeper for my e-library.

I enjoyed this short story immensely. This was my introduction into the art of shibari. I enjoyed the beach setting and was able to escape my hum drum life with Elizabeth's wonderful and imaginative story.
