The story follows a family who experiences the ups and downs of life, fighting against the mess of emotions that growing up brings. On the way discovering more about themselves, their friends and the mysteries of magic they face daily.
I greatly struggle with reading this book for the following reasons:
Spelling and grammar errors. The book is LITTERED in them.
The story plot could use some serious cleaning up. It felt like there were lot of pauses and uneeded scenes. It did not pull me in and read as a lackluster book.
The way the children were written seemed off. Speaking and knowing complicated terms at young age is difficult and usually children have difficult pronouncating or understanding certain concepts untill preteen years.
TOO many chapters. 51 chapters for a book with 207 pages. That is roughly four pages per chapter. It could have been merged into far fewer chapters. Perhaps cut in half to 25 chapters? That would be roughly 10 pages per chapter which would make it lot more readable and approachable.
Each conflict that showed up has been resolved in a rather anticlimactic way.
It lowkey reads like My Hero Academia fanfiction.
Would not recommend this book for anyone unless it was throughly proofread and editted. Even then I still would not be comfortable enough to.
