I was born in Manly on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia and grew up in the west after we moved there to help my brother’s eczema which was made worse by salt air. I now reside in the beautiful sunny state of Queensland.

My dad had the biggest impact on my life. I have always had an overactive imagination and would often tell him stories which floated in my mind. He encouraged me to put pen to paper convinced that one day they would become published books.

Apart from marrying the love of my life, the highlight of my life was being accepted into Nursing just before my 16th birthday. It had been a long-time dream and one which encompassed 37 years of my life. Along with nursing, being married to a Naval Officer for almost 47 years, and posted in numerous places, gave me experiences which I have written into many of my books.

We enjoy traveling the country with our Caravan/RV, and Jack Russell puppy by the name of Gemma who will be joining us.

As my parents were British, never Australian citizens, I hold dual citizenship and we plan to take advantage of this to spend two years traveling the UK and Europe in the near future. It will also give me the opportunity to catch up with many family members who reside in England.

My books are in various genres - Western Historical Romance-both steamy and sweet, Contemporary Romance-steamy and sweet, Male/Male, Australian Outback and City Romance. I also have one menage and one paranormal romance along with two children's books. As I said earlier, I have a rather overactive imagination.

I hope you will pick up one of my books and when you close the cover on one of my stories it will be with a satisfied sigh.

This leap back in time is like a breath of fresh air, brisk Alaskan air.
Set in 1896 in a new town in Alaska called Hope, gold fever is striking people everywhere in America. Roberta-Joanne Fletcher and her father, Nathan, decided to join in the feverish ‘hope’ to strike it rich by panning for gold. Bobby-Jo and her father purchased land to seek their gold and it definitely found them a future but not quite the one they envisioned.

Sheriff Dallas McBride and his deputies know with a gold fever they have to be extra diligent and this does prove the case. Being the sheriff can be a taxing job in a gold rush town but better than working for the sheriff’s department in a major city. Dallas is a strong, dependable character who is instantly likable as is Bobby-Jo. I love how honest she is, especially with herself. She calls a spade a spade but his manners as well.

Some very tender moments did cause a tear or two to collect in my eyes and a lump to form in my throat, so very poignant and touching. There were some fun moments and a few scary ones as well. I always enjoy this author’s descriptions of the scenery in her stories, which makes it easy to imagine you are there with the characters. All reasons why I gave an extra half a star.

I recommend this to everyone who enjoys a sweet romance with a strong female lead, an alpha male who is caring and supportive, and a fast-paced storyline.

Sent in Alaska back in the start of the gold rush. A woman raised tougher than most back then due to not having a mother. "I'll never get married and have kids" might be her thought, but not what her heart wishes. Literally bumping into the sheriff has her heart heart racing, he felt the same. Tragedy will bring them together faster. A beautiful town and it's characters. This sweet romance will bring you joy.

Another fun story. This one is told in the first person. Bobby Jo learns that being a woman has benefits. A delightful story. And gold is found here.

Wonderful

I loved this book. I was immediately drawn into the story. I loved Bobby Jo's fiestyness. I also loved Dallas gentleness with Bobby. The Alaskan backdrop was amazing to picture. I could see the landscapes in my mind as I read. I can't wait till the next book comes out.
