Once, before time began, a goddess told a young god that he would have three chances to win his soulmate. Twice, the god has found him. Twice he has lost him.
To save him from the suffering of loss, Morgan Norn, god of memory, has been made to forget. Now, he lives a life alone, telling himself he’s content to dedicate himself to the steadily growing numbers of gods and demigods in the human realm. But his fate was spun a long time ago, leading him to this one last chance.
As the premiere event planner in Valleywood, Caspian Chance has planned enough second and third weddings to know that happily ever after is a fantasy created to sell movie tickets and romance novels. He doesn’t have time to deal with some alpha’s ridiculous expectations. Dating the hot doctor who doesn’t look remotely old enough to have birthed and raised two daughters is as close as someone like Caspian can get.
The Fates may have been planning for this since the beginning of time, but there’s only so much they can do to get these two stubborn souls on the right path, especially with all the violence surrounding them. And with so much pain in the past, it's only a matter of time before the old cycle of blood and tears finds them once more. The only way to happiness is to stop history from repeating itself.
Too bad no one remembers this history.
The Raven God’s Fate is book 11 in the Valleywood series, where the drama is millennia in the making and isn’t reserved for the mortals. But with a little meddling, a little amnesia, and a couple of bundles of joy, maybe things can work out in the end after all.
I love how Caspian and Morgan had such a loving history. I understand why Morgan's family did what they did, even though it felt like such a sad choice.
E.E. Silver has treated us with a somewhat unique story about finding your soulmate. The story begins with Morgan, the god of memory, who is told he will have three and only three chances at finding and keeping his soulmate. Fast forward to the present time and Morgan serendipitously meets his soulmate, Caspian, but neither recognizes the other even though they found one another two times already and both times one of them died. The story then continues in the present time and a moderate level of angst slowly builds until a rather dramatic finish. A well-deserved happy finish.
I love Ms. Silver's writing style. It is fresh and animated and well-paced and gave me just an all around fuzzy feeling (such technical terms I have). Actually my measure for a REALLY good book is did it make me cry or laugh out loud. Let me just say that my dog who normally sleeps within getting-a-treat distance became so annoyed with my wailing that she got up in a snit and went into another room.
You can tell Ms. Silver treasures and truly cares for her characters by the way they interact with others. They are a bit headstrong..in a sassy kind of way, and I was just waiting for one of them to pimp-slap a bad guy. Well, a bad guy got his head torn off so I suppose that is the same thing. Kudos to the author. Amazon shows she has other books and I am going to check them out.

Nice addition to the Valleywood series. I will say that I struggled a bit at the beginning due to not reading the book blurb/details prior to reading. Not really knowing what the book is about I was kind of lost on what's going on. I would say halfway through is when I really got into this. I had so many feels for Morgan and his search for his soul mate. So when he met Caspian, they clicked and Morgan knew he was the one. I didn't appreciate fully the flashbacks to previous encounters fully (didn't understand the need) but when I realized what was going on, I was all in with this bittersweet romance and hoping...hoping for a wonderful outcome for Morgan. The climax towards the end had me on pins and needles but this is Valleywood...I should have known this will turn out good...but really it was a delight...loved Caspian...really love Morgan and all his family. This was a good read and I'm glad a pushed through and discovered not how to start a book...LOL

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Lesser god's finding their souls mate..Yes please! As a reader I just love the myth and mortality threaded together, this one was hilarious but also heart breaking at times, that pulls the reader in the twists and turns of EE Silvers imagination. Two destined having three chances to get it right, double yes. Interfering siblings, what does this book not have. Morgan's own girls betting against him, that is a shame. Yes, Caspian has the right idea cyber stalk the hot dreamy Dr. Norn, only to turn up with Zep! Morgan and Caspian both an omega Wow, surprise love the twist about Morgan. Cas is just full of sass, sparkles and attitude, while Morgan has a more slower to the approach attitude that just brings the flames of attraction to boiling.
OMG, I loved this book so hard. In The Raven God's Fate by EE Silver, Morgan has three chances to find his fated mate and make it work. I loved how the author used a mixture of the present and the past to show us what happened during his first two meetings with his soul mate and how that had influenced both of their lives when they met again in the present. One of my favorite books growing up was Remembrance by Jude Deveraux, and this book has the same feel but with it being about two guys and mpreg. This book made me cry just as much, and I couldn't put it down either, reading far into the early morning hours. I wouldn't change anything about this book. If I could, I would give it ten stars!

Third time a charm? Morgan, god of memory, as a child was told he would have 3 chances only to meet, woo and claim his soulmate. He thought he had time. Caspian, is an event planner in Valleywood. When he meets Dr Morgan at an event, they are instantly attracted to each other. We get to experience flashbacks to the first two iterations. Morgan and Caspian are the third. There are a few quirks Caspian experiences that lend a little flavor to their courting. The family and friends in each meeting are a hoot. Does Morgan get it right the third time? Can Caspian add a little kick to the courtship? Good story. A little funny, a lot happy, a bit sad, then happy again. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was book 11 in the "Valleywood " series. We first met Morgan Nourn in "The Raven God's Gift: Vale Valley Season Four Book 3" he is Hunter's brother he is a Raven God. Morgan meets Caspian Chance at a charity function for the hospital that he is the director of. Caspian"Cas" Chance is an omega who wears makeup he is the event planner. I really liked Cas he was smart spunky and sassy. When these two start dating he begins having weird dreams turns out they are about Morgan's history and his previous mates and how they died while he was pregnant with each of his daughters. This was a good read with low drama. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.
Sometimes you have to work for what you want and that is certainly the case in this story. Morgan has three chances to find and keep his fated mate and he has already had the first two and things did not work out. He is on his final try and this story is how both the earlier occasions and the current situation have affected the lives both Morgan and Caspian's lives. This was such a rich story filled with mythology, their history and the hope that they will get together this time which made it a bit emotional.

The Raven God Morgan would have three chances of wooing his destined soulmate in his three incarnations. But he has already failed the first two times. The third time, his memories are hidden. Despite that, his soul seems to recognize his lover, Caspian. Caspian is an event planner and meets the doctor at an event. They both apparently feel the attraction to each other. Will Morgan get it right this time? Or will he use up all of his chances and spend eternity alone?
There’s a cleverly crafted narrative here that weaves together present and past to show us Morgan’s three chances to find and keep his soul mate. There are a lot of moving parts here and it could have been confusing but wasn’t. The story has lots of emotion and some really interesting characters: both protagonists and supporting cast.
*An ARC was provided by the author and I have chosen to publish a fair and honest review*
How many chances does one get to woo the love of your life and soulmate? Apparently, three. Make them all worth while. Well written story, weaving different books into one complete finish. The soul remembers, even if the reincarnated person doesn't. Morgan and Caspian, finally get their happily ever after. Albeit with a little angst in getting there.

If the Fates intervene, can a lonely god find his last soulmate?
This is a great, unique book. It flows from the present to past lives and back again. You will come to know about the beginning of the gods in a new way. I found the past lives fascinating; the present lives captivating. Come. Follow Morgan, Raven God of Memory through the past incarnations of his soulmate; until Caspian becomes his last hope. You are simply gonna love this book!
I absolutely loved this story. Morgan is a Norn, a brother to the three fates, and the god of memory. I love reading about Norse mythology and to have it in a modern day romance was awesome. I have really enjoyed all the new Valleywood books and this is definitely another keeper.
This book had it all: Fated mates/soulmates, reincarnation, ABO, babies and ANGST. The Raven God had three chances of wooing his soulmate in his three incarnations, and he failed the first two times. The third time he doesn't remember anything but his soul recognizes his lover. I loved how gender fluidity in a omegaverse and mythological setting was shown. I can't go deeper without saying spoilers so that's all I'm gonna say. I loved Morgan's relationship with his family and the parallels between past and the present. There were a few typos though but other than that it was a great read.

Wow just wow. Morgan met Cas at an event and they hit it off. They went on a coffee date and talked for hours. Morgan is a memory god who knew from a young age that he had 3 chances to mate his soulmate. What I loved was that Cas was able to dream about his past lives with Morgan. It was well done. Loved Morgan’s daughters, they were a hoot.
This was a fantastic, unique story.Morgan and Caspian are soulmates that meet each other over time on two separate occasions only to die. They have one more chance at love.Overall, the story was really well written, highly recommend.

This is a cute and somewhat angsty love story about messing up and getting 2nd chances. It's like three novellas in one, with meddling family and a HEA.

Morgan a god has only one more chance to find his mate and get it right. Caspian meets Morgan and knows he's the one but his dreams are telling him there's more to all this. I really enjoyed this book.
The romance was a bit of a hard sell for me. Neither Morgan or Caspian are emotional fit for a relationship. More than anything, I think this was a great mystery book as opposed to romance.

Really wish some of these novella's were novels. There's so much more wanted from these stories. It's a good short read but it would great to have more time with these characters.
I love how Caspian and Morgan had such a loving history. I understand why Morgan's family did what they did, even though it felt like such a sad choice.
I love it it was a great story the set up in the beginning and the three love stories rolled into one were great my only complaint is the jolting chapters where Morgan’s story would slip into the past with no indication
I really enjoyed this book. At the start of this book Morgan, is told by one of his sister’s what his soul mate thread like. He’s told that he only has only three chances to win his soul mate, and that’s it. I thought it was cool how we got to see Morgan and Caspian meet and fall in love in with each other in present time, but because of the pain Morgan went through and the aftermath of what he did in his vengeance losing his chance with his soul mate twice, his family hid the memories of everything he’d been through and that he even has a soul mate. Morgan and Caspian aren’t able to recognise what they’re to each other or their past lives together, even if they feel an instant attraction/connection towards the other. I understand why his family did what they did and I’m glad that the longer they spent together, Caspian’s memories came back slowly and was able to unlock Morgan’s memories of their past. I thought it was cool that we got to see their past, and the first two times they met and the aftermath of what Morgan went through losing Arne and Bjorn before they could claim each other. Will third time be the charm, or is history doomed to repeat itself. I’m looking forward to reading more books from EE Silver, as well as the Valleywood Series. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
