About the author

I taught English in South Korea for a decade to every level and type of student and I've taught every age from kindergarten kids to adults. You can find me at my website: ESL Activities.

These days, I do private tutoring in Vancouver and online teaching. In my spare time, you can usually find me outside playing tennis, biking, hiking or on the hunt for the most delicious kimchi I can find.

I really like the TBL method, and I think this book is ok to start with. However, I found it very basic, some "tasks" I would not consider them as tasks per se but random activities to do in class, I would have loved to find more engaging and interesting TBL to apply as an ESL teacher. The book lacks editing. It has some ideas to create your own tasks.

Haven’t found any other books with task based learning activities. There are so many practical activities. Highly recommended.
