Correnti Incrociate is an anthology of forty-nine poems by a multinational group of poets, translated into Italian by the university's students of literary translation.
The Salerno Project is a collaboration between Mosaique Press and the University of Salerno's Department of Humanities, inspired by the Salerno Literary Festival and the Erasmus+ cultural exchange programme.
Each of the poems is presented in both English and Italian, on facing pages, to enrich the reading experience.

Hats off to John Eliot and Linda Barone for putting together an excellent assortment of poetry for translation into Italian. If looking for an anthology of fine world class poets you would find no better than what is found in Correnti Incrociate. Translation of any sort is extremely difficult and poetry is even more so. Students at Salerno University who have worked hard on what is know as the Salerno Project have outdone themselves. Those who love poetry, do yourself a favor and order a copy today.

An excellent collaboration addressing translation of poetry. The parallel translations are visually and aesthetically engaging and the overall design of the book excellent.

This is a first class (must have) collection of poems. Beautifully crafted and carefully selected from 18 poets. It offers the reader a sincerity they can relate to, and in the broader sense experience a personal journey that is intimate and reaching. Something that can be read again and again that captivates the human heart and becomes a companion. Congratulations and a huge thank you to all involved in the Salerno project!

Correnti Incrociate is a fine anthology of translations by students of literary translation at Salerno University featuring 18 selected transnational poets. Brilliantly edited and curated by poet John Eliot and academic Linda Barone; elegantly published by Mosaique Press, Correnti Incrociate is a rich and varied read.
