What really is in a name? What does that mean for your baby?
Astrologist and nameology expert Norma J. Watts helps every expecting parent explore those questions. By analyzing names using numerology, Watts has crafted a comprehensive guide to using a name's letters to unlock hidden meaning.
Watts instructs readers in the tools of nameology, using famous names such as Martha Stewart, Martin Luther King, and Madonna to further explain personality traits. An A-Z quick reference guide of names along with a chapter on converting names to numbers aids in interpreting uncommon names or those not found in the book.
Offering insight for those who want to look past the obvious and explore deeper meaning, The Art of Baby Nameology gives expectant parents a way to preview the personalities associated with names they are considering.
This is a book worth reading and to consider when you want to name your baby- it gives rise to being more thoughtful about something many parents may consider an everyday occurrence. It made me consider; matching the first name alongside the last name, the meaning behind the name, the history of the first name, whether it works with other children in the family. I found the names of those I knew matched them so well, it was a lesson really on thinking more deeply about something a person will have for a lifetime and hopefully will love and feel ok about. **I can't recommend this book if you have strong ideas about naming your child after a thing/object.
For a book greatly pertaining to letter-number conversions, whoever picked the font for this edition was overlooking something critical... The number "1's" and letter "I's" were identical which definitely upset the information flow.
