Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Warning: *spoilers ahead*
The events in this book took place after Taylor's book. I don't understand why the author repeatedly threw Taylor under the bus. I would've understood if it was once or twice but my god, she painted her to be a woman that everyone hated & blamed & just for having strong feelings.

Here is what Easton says about Carla, the girl who died because of him: "I didn’t love her. She was nothing more than a bet that I used to amuse myself, and it backfired. I cared about her. I won’t deny that, but I didn’t fucking love her." and another time: "But I was relieved. When she died, I felt like I’d dodged a bullet." So no, I don't feel much sympathy for this douchebag. I didn't root for him whatsoever and never will. +I didn't rlly buy the romance between all three main characters, and Liam and Easton needed more depth but there wasn't any at all.

I can't NOT take Taylor's side because everything she's said is technically true. So the fact that she was ganged up on and threatened repeatedly doesn't sit well with me. Axton is absolute garbage in this book. He fucked up big time imo and he really really didn't deserve Taylor. Scarlett was just boring and her personality got worse and worse. Liam was just a wannabe alpha. They all pissed me off for numerous reasons.

Here is all the bullshit that was tossed at Taylor in this book:

This is Liam, a nobody who wasn't there when shit went down with Carla who was killed by Easton's dad:
“I’ve got a fucking idea, and you know what, still don’t give a fuck,” Liam said. “Your friend has been seeing a dead woman.” Taylor sobbed. “Shut the fuck up. I don’t care which one of these people you’re marrying. Your friend died ten years ago, and none of them were responsible for it. If you were any kind of woman, you’d get over your shit and stop making others guilty for moving on with their lives.”

She's crying & this asshole tells her to stfu, what a dick.
...
“.... Your woman is living in the past. You want to move on, you got to let her know you’re not going to keep being sorry for being happy. People die, and we have no choice but to move on. It’s the fact of life, and if you want to stay in the past, you’re going to end up fucking lost.” He glared at Axton and turned his attention to Taylor. “You’re going to kill that man in there. I get you’re sad about what happened, but Easton is a living, breathing person and he has a right to be happy.”

She's not going to kill Easton, she's not committing any crime, and she's not responsible for anyone's guilt. & they WERE indirectly responsible. Easton dated and slept with Taylor's friend for a bet. Liam, you're biased, asshole. And you say people die and we have to move on but you can't force someone to stop grieving. She can do that at her own pace if she wants and it should be for HER well-being. Don't tell her to "get over it" & be a woman, wtf does that even mean? ugh.
...
“I’m going home,” Taylor said... He knew about this woman’s revenge plot.... [He's talking about the revenge plot in the previous book not in this one, there is no revenge plot in this]
“Are you coming, Axton?” she asked.
“You’re going to sit down and wait to hear about my friend,” Axton said.
“Excuse me?”
....The woman looked shocked to see Axton standing up for himself.
“You heard me. One of my best friends could die tonight, and you think I’m going to go home and wait. You’re wrong. If you love me, if your promises meant anything, you’ll sit down, take what has been said, and deal with it.”
“And if I leave?”
“Then you get the fuck out and you leave Carla. It’s as simple as that. I love you, Taylor, I will die for you. I’ve put up with all kinds of bullshit, but I’m not walking out of this room.”

Then she stayed bc she was basically forced to. I hate Axton so much. And I'm sorry but wow, talk about Taylor's character assassination. WOW. Carla's their kid, btw. Axton, you loser, you big fucking colossal disappointment, why the FUCK would and should Taylor have to leave HER CHILD behind with you if she doesn't want to do shit you want her to do???? This is fucking manipulation at its finest and the fact that there's a child involved makes what he demands and says all the more fucked up. FUCK you and I'm so disappointed in Sam for writing this bullshit. So much disappointment in one gd book, ugh.
....
“It’s good Easton has you looking out for him,” Axton said....

Ya Liam's looking out for him by embarrassing & admonishing your wife in front of everyone.
...
Scarlett stared at Taylor and Liam’s words kept playing in her mind. She didn’t owe this woman an explanation.
Okay but choking her is fine, great.
...
“No, you don’t understand.... I really am, but holding it against Easton is just fucking wrong.” Scarlett couldn’t believe she was having this conversation. “He didn’t kill her. He didn’t put his hands on her, so why should he be the one to suffer all the time for it? You don’t think he’s suffered enough? He’s not been plagued by guilt. He’s in that hospital bed because he was seeing his dead girlfriend and didn’t tell anyone about it.”....
..
....One minute she was standing in her corner holding the bottle of water. The next moment, she had her hands wrapped around Taylor’s throat, pressing her up against the corner of the elevator.

“....but I can tell you now, you toxic little bitch, I will make sure you, your husband, and your fucking kid struggle for the rest of your natural born lives. Do you hear me? You can keep thinking this is all Easton’s fault, but your friend, she didn’t have to fuck him, did she? They both made a choice, and you are just as much to blame as everyone else. If you had been a good enough friend, she’d have come to you.... Instead, she chose to keep it a secret from you.... You’ve got to make a choice in this world, darling, and it’s not chasing after Easton. Otherwise, I, no one else, I, will end you.”

I'm sorry but I didn't care about Scarlett AT ALL, I thought she was boring but this moment made me hate her guts. She has no right to threaten anyone's family, anyone's child. What a bitch, would love to see Axton's reaction to what she told Taylor but my guess he'll do nothing and fuck him for that, he doesnt deserve to be a husband or a father. Scarlett makes threats cuz she has a rich husband lol. & again this woman wasn't there when Carla died, she doesnt know how it was. & Taylor was never chasing Easton, she popped in his office once and nothing bad was said and other times she and Easton were just in the same room, she never actively followed him and she's allowed to be angry still. Not to mention that Scarlett & Liam are clearly very fucking biased that they defend his actions & explain away a teen's death & even blame that teen for sleeping with Easton. Just wow.
.....
Liam:
“She threatened our man. We can’t have that... I’m not having anyone throwing Easton’s past back at him.” Stfu, Liam, quit the posturing already. I got so sick of what he says. And Taylor wasn't even wrong.
....
Scarlett held onto Liam as Axton and Taylor returned. The couple were holding each other, and it looked like Taylor had been crying. Good. She had no desire to end Taylor’s suffering. She didn’t even want to think about how long Easton had been suffering at her hands.

YUCK YUCK. What kind of person is Scarlett, she's sitting on her high horse and wanting another woman's demise. And Easton never really suffered at her hands. He was merely reminded of his guilt and his guilt is within him bc he knew it belonged there. Also, everyone makes it seem like Taylor and Easton have been around each other for years and years when they really havent. There's not a big time jump from the last book. So, stfu Scarlett.
....
Scarlett:
....She had forgiven him. It hadn’t been easy, but seeing Taylor, witnessing that woman’s spiteful grief, she knew she didn’t want to turn out that way.... She didn’t want to spend her life hating someone who really didn’t deserve it.

Again, the author made Taylor out to be so "spiteful" in this book but i don't think she was "spiteful" enough at times, Easton deserved consequences for what he did to Carla and by consequences I don't mean violence or anything physical. Liam was an asshole too, and Scarlett deserved to be called a bitch as well. She's horrible. And again, Sam, why would you even give Taylor a book and a first one at that in this series if you were gonna destroy her in this one?? WHY!!!

Easton:
“...everyone is pissed off at Taylor for being angry at me, but she’s right. I did kill her because I didn’t leave her alone.”

Wow he just told us that everyone's mad at Taylor for being angry with him (she has every right to be angry) and he means even Axton is mad at her as well even though he knows exactly why she would still be angry at Easton, wtf. He's a shitty husband.
...
“But I was relieved. When she died, I felt like I’d dodged a bullet.”

EVERYONE kept saying he loved Carla and had fallen for her and cared for her but this line throws all that bs out the window. You can't have it both ways. He admitted this to Liam after he got his tumor removed.

Romeo:
“...Carla was ripped from him, and the chance of any kind of happiness..... What I’m saying is, take care of our guy, love him. He deserves to be loved and to have everything his heart desires. Please.”

Carla was ripped from him? he's admitted he was relieved when she died! He said "she was nothing more than a bet that I used to amuse myself" so stfu Romeo. The dialogue became progressively wishy-washy and cheesy. Easton is apparently a saint now and even more so bc he had a tumor. Give me a damn break. It doesn't change his past actions.

Scarlett:
“...Easton deserves a chance to have a clean slate, and unfortunately, one of you isn’t exactly giving it to him.” She looked past Romeo.... Taylor had her daughter on her hip.

She didn’t look threatening and there was a smile on her lips, but Scarlett wasn’t convinced. The woman had made her feelings known within the hospital, and whenever she was around, Scarlett would keep an eye on her so she didn’t hurt Easton.

“Yes. It would seem the pain is still there for her. We all know that. Axton, he can deal with her.”

“Really?” Scarlett asked. “Because if she thinks she can hurt his future, she will have to deal with me. She’s a brand-new mother, but I’ve been one for eleven years now. I know how to protect my family, and Easton, he’s my family.”

“He’s all of our family,” Romeo said. “We’re a fucked-up bunch. I’ll give you that.”....

Taylor doesnt need to give a clean slate to anyone, she doesn't and shouldn't have to be fucking forced to forgive someone. And great, Scarlett, keep an eye on a new mother bc if she does something u dont like you'll destroy her family, right? And why is she threatening her and saying it to Romeo? What does her being a brand-new mother have to do with anything. STFU. And is Easton a baby that needs babysitting?? he's a butterfly all of a sudden. What is the author thinking writing all this bull crap?

Axton, he can deal with her? Fuck you, Romeo. Wtf does that even mean. She doesnt need to be dealt with, she's not a dog. Why phrase it that way. And he spews more cringey shit.
....
“....I don’t want them to know everything about me... I like that no one can meddle with this, that no one can take it away from me... I don’t want them to try and talk any sense into me or think they have a right to tell me what to do. I don’t want them to have that kind of power....”

This is Easton talking about his three besties. He certainly holds them in great esteem.
...
Staring at her name, Easton didn’t feel the pain or the guilt.

Wow good for you for staring at her gravestone and not feeling guilt. Kudos to ya.
....
Easton still at graveyard:
“....For the first time, he didn’t flinch at her words or the glare she was firing at him.

“You shouldn’t be here. You have no right.”

“I have every right. You can hate me all you want to, Taylor. It’s not going to change the fact I’m happy.”

Yeah I also dont think you have the right to be there. The way he's talked about her is disgusting.

“She’s dead because of you.”

“Maybe..... I never hurt her. You seem to be under this impression that you and Carla were tight....”

“And? What is your point?”

“If you were such good friends, why didn’t she tell you we were together?”

“You told her not to.”

Easton laughed. “I know best friends, and when they want to, they tell each other all of their secrets. Carla and I were together a lot longer than you think... She liked having a life that didn’t revolve around her friend.”

Wow, so "maybe" she's dead bc of you but you didn't hurt her, ok... and you "never hurt her", are we forgetting the reasons why he was with Carla in the first place? And of course, this guy is attacking Taylor and Carla's friendship lol, do you have any other leg to stand on?? Wtf is wrong with these people. And he's laughing as well while doing so.
...
“And I can’t defend myself to a fucking woman who refuses to listen. I didn’t kill Carla. I never wanted to. I was more than willing to do the right thing.”

SHE doesnt need to listen to you asswipe, you didnt kill carla but you as shit caused the sequence of events that led to her death. You were willing to do the right but you were still relieved when she died though right? i mean let's not forget that.

“But you’ve found your happiness, haven’t you? You’ve got a son and a whole new family, and you get to live your life while she doesn’t.” Tears fell from Taylor’s eyes. “She will never get to hold my little girl, or know what it means to fall in love, or have any of those things, and I can’t handle it.”... That’s what she felt, guilt.

My heart broke for Taylor. Best friends don't always need to tell each other everything. & Easton and Scarlett and others kept attacking their friendship. Easton sucks. Liam and Scarlett suck. This entire book sucks.
....
“Axton doesn’t know you’re here?”

“No, he doesn’t. I’m fucking that up just as I do everything else. He’s talking about a break if I don’t get my shit together. I can’t help it. I feel so guilty all the time..."

Wow, Axton wants a break. Fuck this, if you can't handle your wife's pain and guilt and are pissed and annoyed at her bc she doesnt like your bestie, then get the hell out of town and leave the baby with Taylor, you don't deserve them. Again WHY is the author taking shots at their relationship which had a happy ending in the last book, THEIR book.
...
... I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you. I’m really glad you didn’t die,” she said.
...
Taylor nodded. “I can’t promise you this isn’t going to be easy. I’ve had my anger for so long it seems a part of me.”

... “This is going to be the last time I come here. I need to make a clean break... You should talk to Axton. I hate to hear of you two fighting..."

“I know. I fucked up. I’ll make it right.”

Kinda hate that she apologized, I didnt want Easton, Scarlett, and Liam to have the satisfaction but whatever, Sam Crescent tried to make her the villain in the story bc that makes total sense after giving her a full book first. And Easton, he came to Carla's grave after a while, and then says he won't come back again, we can see how much he loved and cared for her LOL.

And Axton and she have been fighting bc again Axton can't handle her feelings and emotions and cant handle the fact that she doesnt like one of his besties. Gross. Taylor didnt fuck up, she's been in pain and living in grief for years and years and instead of helping or consoling her, he'd rather give her ultimatums. She doesnt need to make right her feelings and emotions, they're valid.
Sam conducted pretty severe character assassination for Taylor and in my opinion, Axton as well because he's absolute garbage in this.
...
You’re a good man, Easton, and I’ve been the worst bitch in the world.”

Easton laughed. “Apology accepted. We can move on.....”

Easton told Taylor Axton is worried about her in this scene but... he is threatening a break between them, that makes total sense. And I don't even think she was that bitchy, the way she acted, it made total sense to me, and I wish she stood up more for herself! And I don't know if Easton's a "good" man, not after everything I read in the last book and in this book. I'm sure he's become better but still, nah.
...
And omg, Liam in the epilogue (5 years later):
Axton, Karson, and Romeo would be joining them all soon.

Liam had made them all sign non-disclosure agreements before they were allowed near them. He’d been fighting for his happiness all of his adult life, and he wasn’t going to allow three young boys to spoil it for him

WHATTHEFUCK. Why isn't Taylor joining? Has Axton has been lying to her? No one in the last 5 years confirmed to Taylor that they were a throuple (even tho she prob knew) nor did they invite her over? I need answers bc that would be fucked up. I thought Easton said he and she would make it "work".
...
Liam in epilogue:
...Slowly, month by month, year by year, he’d fallen for her, and she had brought him Easton. He had no doubt if it wasn’t for Scarlett, Easton wouldn’t be in his life.

So let me get this straight, Liam took months, even years apparently to fall for Scarlett, and she had brought him Easton with whom he seemed infatuated with super quickly?? Is this guy more in love with Easton and more attracted to Easton?? like more than Scarlett or what? that's what it seemed like the entire book. but idk and idc. The plot is such bs.
...
.... he’d made the right choice in not destroying the Four Kings. He could have done so easily.

.... they all had skeletons in their closet, and one day soon, someone was going to fall. Liam would catch Easton; he would protect him.

I got so sick of Liam's constant repeated blabbling that he was better than the other men and he could destroy them if he wanted to.
The epilogue ends with Liam saying he would catch Easton and protect him. Again, does this guy love Easton more than Scarlett??

Author did Taylor so wrong, ruined the series tbh.

Hope she knows this series was utter crap and just terrible, if there's more books in this series, hopefully it wont be full of writing errors and a terrible plot once again but I'm not gonna be reading them to find out, that's for sure.

One of the worst books I've ever read. why would the author give Axton and Taylor such a bad rep in this book? this is what he said to her at the hospital:
“Then you get the fuck out and you leave Carla. It’s as simple as that. I love you, Taylor, I will die for you. I’ve put up with all kinds of bullshit, but I’m not walking out of this room.”
It made me cringe, it seemed like he was airing out bullshit in front of others instead of in private. He has the right the stay at the hospital but he also watched his wife get berated by Liam and he pretty much embarrassed her. Why are you threatening that if she doesnt do as you want, she has to leave but also leave their daughter behind. What kind of bullshit is this?

And then this too:

Scarlett reacted. She didn’t even know what was happening. One minute she was standing in her corner holding the bottle of water. The next moment, she had her hands wrapped around Taylor’s throat, pressing her up against the corner of the elevator."

Scarlett literally threatened Taylor, Axton and their daughter.

Also:
“She would have wanted to live.” Taylor sobbed. “I can’t do this anymore. I can’t keep coming here.”

“Axton doesn’t know you’re here?” Easton pulled away to stare at her.

“No, he doesn’t. I’m fucking that up just as I do everything else. He’s talking about a break if I don’t get my shit together. I can’t help it. I feel so guilty all the time...
"

Taking a break? I feel like I dont like Axton and the author made Taylor look so so bad in this bbook omg. I didnt like Easton at all in the previous book and I hated that Liam and Scarlett felt they had a right to tell Taylor how to feel. And what was with all the threats?
“You want to keep on blaming him, go ahead, but I can tell you now, you toxic little bitch, I will make sure you, your husband, and your fucking kid struggle for the rest of your natural born lives."

Why is everyone acting like Easton is somehow an angel by the end??? And everyone is treating Taylor like shit??? The man himself said he was relieved when Carla died. The author fucked up here. And she fucked up even more when a few times it seemed Liam wanted Easton more than his own wife.

I'm not convinced that some people actually would give this a high rating because it deserves zero stars. I'm glad this didn't get popular or that not many people read it because I would've been disappointed in fellow novelists and readers if they thought this was truly worth their time and rest assured, they didn't miss out on anything and I feel pretty jealous that others didn't read this and that I had to endure it. I don't even know how I managed to finish it.

I don't know where or how to start explaining why this was terrible but ill try to keep it brief.
Easton was dumb and an asshole, I don't much care he had a tumor that developed in adulthood, it's actually just a cop-out on part of the author to make us sympathize with this shit character and it's a weak plot device. what happened to his ex-girlfriend Carla was his fault, at least a big part of it. He started it all, he even says at one point he was relieved she died and that he felt like he dodged a bullet. How was I ever expected to root for this piece of shit and how did anyone root for him? I didn't like Taylor, I didn't care much for her in the series but what happened to her was really unjust. So many characters, including new ones (Scarlett and Liam) and old ones like the literal father of her child (Axton) were awful to her and kept being pissed at her, they berated her and threatened her and humiliated her. I got sick of it by the end.

Scarlett is just a bitch. She didn't just threaten Taylor but also her child, Carla, named after Carla from Taylor and the four douches' past. There's no other way to describe Scarlett other than a bitch especially after what she did in the hospital. Liam makes me uncomfortable because the creep is married but you could tell he wanted Easton and felt some type of way at the very beginning and for me I got major one-over-the-other preference vibes from him. I hated his cockiness, I wished he would just stfu so many times. He too at the hospital created that scene that ended with Axton dishing it out with his wife and taking away her choice. Axton literally told his wife or soon-to-be wife, im not sure, that he's put up with a lot of her bullshit and that she needs to stay right there where she's clearly uncomfortable, where there's adversaries criticizing and humiliating the shit out of her because he doesnt want to leave his friend who's getting surgery- bitch she didn't ask you to stop being Easton's friend, she needed support in the face of a fucking asshole called Liam talking to her in such a shitty way while you just stood there and watched and then praised said asshole for "looking out" for Easton. So basically Axton was chummy with the guy who insulted his wife more than once. You know what Axton said to her after Liam insulted her and she rightfully and understandably wanted to leave? Do you know what this sorry excuse of a father and husband actually told her? He said: "...you’ll sit down, take what has been said, and deal with it." Deal with it. Is this guy serious. What the fuck is wrong with this stupid bitchass of a man. He also told Taylor that if she didnt listen to him, she'd just have to leave their daughter behind and get the hell out of their lives: “Then you get the fuck out and you leave Carla. It’s as simple as that... I’ve put up with all kinds of bullshit..."and blah fucking blah. He's airing his own dirty laundry with her in front of Liam, Scarlett and his two douche friends. At least do this shit in private. This is the mother of your child and the supposed love of your life which I don't believe for a second after reading this. The funny thing is Taylor and Axton were already a well-established couple from the first book of the series which was their own book so why the author felt the need to ruin that love or the image of that love is beyond me. At the end, Taylor said he was even considering leaving her because she couldnt get over shit that happened to her friend.

The internal thoughts and actual dialogue of Scarlett and Liam concerning Taylor disgusted me. Again, I don't like Taylor. But I know when I see wrong. And this was wrong. The author decided it would be a good idea to take her first heroine of the series and have her be dominated and look weak and submissive in the face of Liam, Axton, and Scarlett. I didn't like Easton, his behavior towards Taylor in the cemetery cemented that even more.

I just didn't like this. Apologies, I failed to keep my review brief. A lot of shitty shit went down in this book and a lot of more can be said about it.

One of my colleagues sent me their review and I couldn't agree more with it, this book is awful. I'll insert what a bit of what she said here:

lol bc of Taylor there was finally a small bit of justice in the last book and easton isn't some fairy or a victim, he himself told Liam he couldn't help but feel glad when carla died and the fact remains he did move on really damn quickly after her death, so taylor isn't supposed to be angry? are u kidding me? and this is what Easton says: "I didn’t love her. She was nothing more than a bet that I used to amuse myself, and it backfired. I cared about her. I won’t deny that, but I didn’t fucking love her." His exact words. And I'm supposed to find this book emotional when it's just about a shitty guy diving into forced romance? yeah, no. The way liam talked to taylor and the way scarlett threatened taylor and her daughter... is that what is considered okay? this is what scarlett said to taylor: "I will make sure you, your husband, and your fucking kid struggle for the rest of your natural born lives." also ..."Otherwise, I, no one else, I, will end you.", etc. They ganged up on Taylor at the hospital and Axton just stood by and even told taylor that if she doesnt do as shes told, she's just gonna have to leave their daughter behind and leave their lives. and that's making taylor take accountability? Easton really wasn't that apologetic in what he did to carla, sure he may have felt a little guilt but his actions and words contradict his genuineness in taking responsibility. And taylor may have been distraught but i can't exactly blame her for the things she says because none of them are exactly untrue. the fact remains that the author did taylor really dirty in this terrible ass story.

Okay....WOW!! The second book in this series just rocked. Easton struggles with what happened in his life 11 years ago and his buddies are determined to help him. I don't really know how to describe what goes on in the book, you just need to read it. The attention to detail that the author writes takes you on a journey into the past and takes you along for the ride in the present. I loved Liam and Scar so much and they were perfect for Easton but it's a struggle to make Easton understand that. And for the moment, I"m not liking Taylor too much. When you read the book, you will understand what she has done. Not that she is a horrible person but I'm hoping that before the series is wrapped up, she can redeem herself. She really caused a lot of problems and towards the end of this book was beginning to realize and understand the damage she had done to Easton and to herself if she's honest! All I can say is this book blew me away!!! Loved every minute of it and I can't wait for the next one!!

I don't get what just happened lmao. I hate the heroine and her husband Liam, and I hate Easton as well.

Y'all, please don't believe this, make your own judgement but all I can say is Taylor was so wronged in this book. She doesn't have to redeem herself at all 😭 wtf are they talking about. Taylor is still grieving her childhood friend. Taylor rightfully was angry about her dead friend who did die because she was dating Easton who didn't even like her the way she liked him. Taylor didn't do any damage to Easton, he did it to himself, he felt the guilt for a reason and him being ill doesn't excuse the past.

Liam and Scarlett and especially Axton were a fucking letdown. I don't even buy Axton's love for his wife anymore. He told her that if she doesn't stay with him in a place where she's uncomfortable, she can leave their daughter and she can leave their lives. WHAT. I like a hero who's obsessed with the heroine, his love is clearly conditional. And the elevator scene with Scarlett and Taylor boiled my blood. Scarlett is a shitty person especially with her threats about what she can do to Taylor and her child.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Yay! Finally found another Sam Crescent goody!!

Easton, Scarlett & Liam's story had a lot of things going for it. Second chance romance, a secret baby, strong chemistry between all three main characters... I really liked it! Loved how protective they all were of each other & their relationship. And when Scarlett grabbed Taylor by the throat... #YouGoGirl

There were flashbacks (which isn't my favorite storytelling tool) but they were short, so I didn't mind them much.

Still left wondering about one thing though... What secret(s) is Liam hiding? He mentioned something like he'd reveal it when it was time but then we got nothing. Very curious how that might factor into the next stories & how it'll affect his relationship.

Okay... I dont actually know what to say about this one. I think like many reviewers for this one. You have to try to read this one yourself, to understand what is going on.
I can say that Easton struggles with so many things in his life and his friends will do everything they can to help him get through it.
This book pays a lot of attention to the little things, so for me was a bit heavy, but I liked Easton in the previous book and this one my heart just hurt for him. But Liam and Scarlett definitely was the right fit for him and I loved the chemistry between them and the fact that they were very protective of each other.

Defintely a good read that will blow your mind when you read it.

This is the second book in the Four Kings Empire series and this book is just as serious as the first in the series but it's so different.

We still see into Easton past and the accident we also see how he meets Scarlett which I wouldn't normally like but I loved it.

This book went in an entirely different way than I thought it would and the rollercoaster ride all three of them go on.

I loved Liam that man is just delish in all sorts of ways.
