“You stole my line, Ananya. Doesn't matter how much our lives mismatch, this time, we are on the same page. I need a divorce too.”
“Great. So, let's catch up at your sister’s fifth wedding anniversary and get this done with.”
“Sounds perfect.”
Message conveyed!! The phone line disconnects!!!
Rajveer Chopra, CFO of a multinational telecom company in Australia, married his childhood enemy Ananya Mathur, a social media influencer for a fashion brand in New York, to satiate the long-lasting desires of the two families to see them together as a couple. If Rajveer loved East, Ananya preferred West. The only thing common between them was the passion for their respective profession and the countries they lived in. If Rajveer was adamant to stay in Australia forever, Ananya had no plans of leaving New York ever. They dragged their loveless marriage for ten months without seeing each other, with less than a dozen messages exchanged between them only on important events. Finally, they mutually agreed to put an end to this assault and move on. Breaking their family’s hearts would be difficult, but it was better than dragging a loveless marriage.
What will happen when these two meet again in India during their one-month stay? Can they ever sacrifice their priorities for each other? Can love frame an equation between the two, or will they part ways amicably?

Back to you by Madhuri Tamse is enemies to lover story. As the name suggests it's a come back story for Rajveer and Ananya. Rajveer and ananya are family friends from childhood and the enemies forever. But as they grow up and due to certain situations and their own benifits they hooked together for name sake and were residing at seperate countries for last 10 months without any emotional attachment. Finally they decided to divorce and live their lives happily, but faith has something else planned for them and they started following their path as it's destined for them. Author's writing skills are amazing, I loved the plot and build up of the story also the twists n turns hooked me to it till I finished it. An amazing story to read and cherished. Waiting for more books by the author. Recommended 👍
Wow what a book. Omg I a still reeling from it. I am huge fan of Madhuri Tamse, she keeps getting better and better. As for her new book simply loved her characters. Ooh I loved Rajveer. Wouldn't mind one of him in my life 😄. If you love romance and to die for characters then this book is for you. Hats off to you Madhuri 👏. I wait with baited breath for your next novel.
"Back to You" this book is simply amazing. Let me tell you guys as this book name suggest the journey of the main lead "Enemies to Lovers" & "Writer" doesn't fail a little bit to show their intense enmity to lover's journey. At first, when am start reading when Male lead 'Rajveer' said pulling each other hair in our worst quarrel is the only thing that is left for us to do_ I was just thinking is really that's much bad their quarrel?
Then when my reading progress on the part of the different incidents where both leads are giving descriptions about theirs part of the quarrel & theirs rightwards stand, how much they are right from their own place to quarrel logically. Honestly am just amused to read their confession & can't help to laugh out loud. Then one part caught my attention when 'Rajveer' said if I can hide her college study-related note then 'Ananya' will not hesitate to tear down my note before exams_that's the quotation that makes me realize in a true sense how much worst result theirs fight brings for each other. As a student this defiantly the worst outcome I can't imagine receiving from the enemy.
Then their determination continues for receiving the divorce & ending their marriage officially at this point also am wondering just how will "Writer" changes the plot to bring these two stubborn personalities together am not seeing any clue for that.
Then the smart, confident, witty & funny female lead 'Anaya' takes the step by boldly saying something like let's see where this takes us by knowing each other as much we can in this few day's time_ from here officially theirs fight start to reduce in my opinion. And the Male lead 'Rajveer' character I will descript as an Intelligent & Enthrall personality. He does take the most crucial & understanding step in their relationship by handing his own decision correctly also guiding 'Anaya' to take the right step. Although both of them are hell confused towards their journey as lovers but they don't ignore theirs thought & opinions rather accepted them maturely.
In all this, I also feel very good by reading, Akash & Ridhima supportive personalities, 'Anaya' & 'Rajveer' parent's characters, their friends & doctor Payel extremely positive & natural characteristics. And, yea I am curious to read or know more about two lawyers characters, I find glimpses of their characters interesting. Overall, this is a good read, thanks "Author"
Ananya Mathur a rebellious girl who did whatever she wanted from her life. A glam up model who lived in New York now wanted to end her marriage to Rajveer who knew her since they were both eight. They were neighbors and studied in the same school and college as enemies. Today they were living seven oceans away in a opposite time zone since past 10 months and not even giving a slightest try to work out their marriage.
Marriage was imposed upon them, but they had their own reasons to marry each other and now they were repenting hard. They were two opposite poles, yet they could never attract each other and were always meant to repel. Ananya was that free bird who lived life upon her terms. She was a social media influencer where as Rajveer was a very handsome looking financial advisor and a money saver hunk.
They came back to India after a long gap from their respective work countries and had made up their mind to get separated after their siblings wedding anniversary. Yes Ananya’s brother had married Rajveer’s sister. For them the policy of “Either mend it or end it” did not work as they knew that they were two side of a magnet.
They filled a divorce petition and even met a marriage councillor. Their never ending fights had already started the day they had a close encounter with each other but destiny had something else chosen for them...
Were they meant to be together?
It’s said the more you spend time together the better you get to know each other. Will they be able to understand each other?
Well love knows no rules...
A satisfying and heart-warming love story. I can thoroughly recommend it as a perfect page turner. Reading this book was like being on a virtual couple drama. I was compelled to complete in a single read as it kept me on the edge of the seat as I waited to learn if their love will win over their decades ago childhood animosity.
Author Madhuri Tamse, I am going to read all your books now.
This was definitely a different style of writing than I am used to. I loved the different culture represented in this story compared to what I'm used to. That being said, the overall story was very enjoyable. Watching the love story unfold between enemies Rajveer and Ananya was great. Seeing the family dynamic between their families as well was enjoyable.
I look forward to reading more from this author. She's been on my TBR for a few months now.
Wow. Too good. I have heard of the saying "hatred is the first sign of love" 28 years of enemity has no chance to stand during 2 weeks of proximity. Love has that power over hatred. So well written..... The little nok jhoks, tutu main main of rajveer and ananya was so so entertaining...loved reading every part of this book....lovely madhuri.
It a light romantic read from Madhuri concocted with all kinds of emotions, banters, family bonding, sibling bonding, attraction & what not. If you’re looking for a clean romantic read, this is definitely recommended.
Rajveer and Ananya have been at each others throat since childhood but as they say there is a thin line between love and hate😈. Bound by a forced marriage they are back to their families to end the facade of the happy couple after 10 months. Once back they are attracted to each other Although, there is attraction but they both are in different phases of life and want different things. Will the attraction be enough to save the relationship or will it end as the attraction fades??? It was a fun read with the witty banter, family dynamics and all the romance🥰. The author has written amazingly that when a person genuinely wants something in life they would cross all the seas. And sometimes freedom is in being bound to someone😁.
This is perfect book for a one sitting read. Story flow smoothly but never lose its hold on romance. Modern Indian romance with new independent couples issues mix well with traditional thinking.
This book has few hindi words that not describe in English so this book only for Indian romance lovers and those who know hindi.
After getting married but staying away in separate countries for 10 months...Rajveer and Ananya are ready to call off their marriage. As they reach India for a family function they start proceedings for their divorce. Forced to live together in India they begin to realize their intense feelings for each other. Author has very well explained the enmity between Rajveer and Ananya. The plot and characters are relatable and story builds up nicely to reach a satisfying end. A feel good romance.

Thank you, Madhuri for arranging the giveaway. Loved reading the book ❤️😍 An enemies to lover romance story, it swoons and warms your heart as you read it. Story of Rajveer and Ananya. I felt they are perfect for each other, even though they didn't understand the same at start. A light romance filled with banter between the couple that's feels lovely to read. There is clear attraction between them but will they allow their feelings to take over or will they remain firm on their decision? You need to read the book for the same. 😍🤩 I loved the author's writing style, simple diction and superb narration. The flow of the story is perfect and quick witty dialogues. This book is for all romance readers. Don't miss it 😍
Madhuri Tamse delivers an emotional ride in Back to You, where love is messy, healing is hard, and the past refuses to stay buried. The story follows two characters with deep history and deeper wounds, navigating a reunion that’s as complicated as it is compelling. Expect angst, unresolved emotions, and a romance that slowly rebuilds what was once lost.
Perfect for readers who enjoy slow-burn reconciliations and emotional depth wrapped in drama and redemption.
why are these books so addictive 😩 I can't stop reading. back to you is my favourite MT romance now, they're everything I envisioned a modern couple to be like. Where can I get my own Rajveer Chopra? 🥲
Just finished reading “Back to You” by Madhuri Tamse and… wow. 🥹📖 This story hit me right in the feels — full of love, longing, second chances, and all the emotional chaos that comes with it. I Freaking love this book! I always believed there weren't any good Indian romance novels because most of the ones I've read were cringeworthy, but this one was effing good. The slow burn? Oh my god!! *in Janice's voice*
This book is one of the best desi enemies-to-lovers stories I have ever read. It perfectly captures the enemies-to-lovers trope, with neither character having romantic feelings for the other initially; their feelings only start to develop during their divorce proceedings. It felt like I was witnessing them fall in love right before my eyes, and I cherished every moment of it. From chapter one, this book completely hooked me. There was no unnecessary drama or soap opera moments—just the perfect read. The characters were beautifully written: imperfect yet perfect in their own way. My heart fluttered when they declared they hated each other, but when asked what they would change about one another, they said nothing because they liked each other as they were. It was so cute! *insert crying emoticon*
The story is beautifully crafted, and every moment—whether small or big—matters. The little acts of intimacy were just fire! There were so many scenes where I had to pause, close the book, and put a hand on my palpitating heart to calm myself down.
“Since when did your driving become so decent?” I asked. “You loved speed. What happened to that?” “I am a family man now. And I don’t want to take risks when my family is next to me in the car.”
How swoony they are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't stop myself gushing over them. No wonder my favorite book of 2024.
