What do you do when you find out you are the father of a three day old baby, the mother, who you had a one night stand with, wants nothing to do with either of you and you are about to go on a tour that you can’t get out of? Honestly, I don’t even know. I never thought this would be my life. I was in love with my best friend for the last seven years of my life, but Gwen has never seen me that way, and I am over her—I swear. Now she is the one holding me together, helping me care for my baby and get through this tour. I thought watching her care for my baby would be easy, I was wrong. It’s so painful to picture that this could be my life, with Gwen at my side, but why would she want to tie herself to a drummer who knocked up a groupie and is dealing with the consequences when she has her own life drama to handle?

Touch me is a feel good story that proves that falling in love is a real thing, even if it takes seven years to admit to it. Charlie is the lead drummer for the world famous band, Fly By, that's composed of his brothers, Joel, Maverick, Tom and Ethan. They won the TV competition, What It Takes!, three years ago and have been touring and playing more countries and stages than they ever dreamed of. Charlie is looking forward to seeing his best friend, Gwen, because something has changed and they've not been communicating like they used to. From the time they were young, they were inseparable and Charlie's parents treated her like she was one of their own. Lately, she just seems to have disappeared and it doesn't sit well with him. Gwen did say that she had a new boyfriend and wanted to give it a chance. Her boyfriend is a controlling abuser and Gwen knows that it won't be pretty if she pays attention to Charlie. But she can't stay away and when Charlie gets some stunning news, she is once again by his side. A 3 day old baby is dropped off at Charlie's apartment, with a note that says she's his, and that the mother of the child doesn't want to have anything to do with either Charlie or their baby. A DNA test confirms that he's the father, but Fly By is headed out on tour and he's going to need some help. He asks Gwen to come along to help him care for Aurora, but there's an ulterior motive to his request. He is finally going to come clean with Gwen and tell her that he's been in love with her for seven years, hoping that she feels the same way. I really liked this story, especially the brothers who loved each other fiercely. There is so much love all around and it makes for a satisfying story!
OVERALL RATING –5 stars RECOMMENDED FOR: those that like rock star romances
First my usual points: - I do not do spoilers unless warned. - Read the summary above; it will tell you what the book is about. I will not reiterate. - This is a standalone but part of a series (I strongly recommend it be read in order, which I did not and didn't feel like the story was as complete as it could have been) - No errors that I caught as far as editing. - The author was new to me.
BOOK: - Contemporary romance - 1st person alternating POV

Notes/Opinion (personal): I love unexpected baby stories, which this was. a very short unexpected baby story. I suppose my main issue with this one is the reaction of the main and supporting characters - there really was none, just a total acceptance of a baby that was previously unknown and the main characters proceeding to a very simple HEA. Very, little conflict or reaction.
The last thing Charlie was ever expecting was to a one of his one-night-stand groupies drop off a three-day-old baby she claims is his when he is about to start tour with the band! The baby is totally his responsibility now and he has no clue what to do.
To his immense relief, Gwen, the best friend he has secretly loved for the past 7 years, steps up to help him. She takes care of the baby and makes it possible for him to get through what he has to do with the band. Seeing her care for his child makes him long for a future with her. Could he ever convince her that they were right for each other? Would she believe that he loves her? Would she ever consider becoming a permanent part of his little family? Or will she walk away once she has gotten her “friend” through this emergency situation?
This was a good story with likable characters, despite a few mistakes along the way. Grab your copy and see if Gwen will believe Charlie. Or is she already in love with him?
This is the third book in the Fly By Boys rockstar romance series and features Charlie and Gwen. They have been best friends for years and though they were secretly attracted to each other they have never acted on it because they didn't want to put their friendship at risk.
When Charlie suddenly finds himself the father of a days old baby that he knew nothing about who else would he call for help but his best friend Gwen who is also a nanny. They have not been in contact for three years due to Gwen's overbearing boyfriend who quickly becomes her ex when Charlie is back in her life. Though things start out awkward between them, they quickly become steamy as their hidden feelings for each other bubble to the surface resulting in some hot and sexy scenes that will heat up your kindle!!
This is a sweet and slightly angsty story which will leave you feeling good. I really love this series and I am looking forward to more!
Charlie feels like recently he’s lost his best friend, Gwen. But on the worst day of his life she calls him because she saw him and his family leave their Sunday lunch in a hurry and she knew something was wrong and just like that she forgot to keep him at a distance. When she calls Charlie and he tells her what’s wrong she dumps her boyfriend Frank who’s the poorest excuse for a boyfriend and actually borderline psycho. This story was good and I enjoyed it but I hate lose ends and this book has a few. I’m giving this book four stars and I’m recommending it.
This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and this is Gwen’s and Charlie’s story. Gwen and Charlie are the best of friends they have known each other since they were kids and Charlie has been in love with Gwen for years no one knows and he would never tell Gwen for fear of losing her friendship. There is so much more going on in this story wow it’s an amazing story I absolutely loved it and the characters especially Charlie and I definitely recommend this book/ series.
I enjoyed every bit of this new "Fly Boy" rock star romance. It is a short and fairly quick read about Charlie and Gwen. They are best friends but he has quietly been in love with her for sometime. He does not want to mess up their friendship so he stays quiet. When ends up with a baby and a tour scheduled Gwen steps up to help him. I like how their story evolves. This is such a good read from beginning to end.
Charlie and Gwen are best friends. He has loved her for a long time but does not think their friendship could withstand the revelation. Then Charlie finds out that he has a very young baby when the mother drops the kid off and says she wants nothing to do with father or child. Gwen winds up being the one to help him out and the beginning of a family is born. This was a good 4.5 star story.

This is a well written best friends to lovers romance between Gwen and Charlie. The author odes a great job building the story and pulled me in with all the feels throughout. She paints her scenes perfectly and delivers a fantastic story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Actually light on the sexy times but a sweet story about childhood best friends who finally (finally!) get together and profess their love. One thing that cracks me up in this and many stories is how the baby only eats and sleeps. And sleeps through the screaming sexy times.
This is book three of the Fly By Boys books. This time featuring Charlie and his surprise baby. Gwen, his long time best friend shows up just when he needs her most. She is in an abusive relationship and can’t see it. Will it finally be their time? Again, this series is awesome and this one was no exception. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
This story was OFF the charts Fantastic!!!. It was so moving, exciting, entertaining and just WOW!!!. It is definitely a feel good story. H.L. is a FANTASTIC storyteller and is a PHENOMENAL writer. I can't wait till the next book to come out.
