This volume is the third in a series of useful software originally published in the international journal ADVANCES IN
ENGINEERING SOFTWARE.

The book contains descriptions of a number of common engineering problems and software requirements, complete with description of the theoretical background and the software to solve the problems.

Applications include structural analysis, numerical algorithms for solving
systems of equation eigen values, graphics programs for hidden line removal, solid modeling, mesh generational methodologies, etc. Any engineer who uses a computer is sure to find material in this book which will aid his or her work.

Not only are the programs described in the book, but a disk containing all
the software covered in the book is available separately from the publisher.
