I received a gifted advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review as part of the book tour hosted by Kaleidoscopic book tours.

Cookie and the Most Mysterious Mystery in the World is the third book in this fun series for children.
The book is about Cookie who narrates events happening in her life in a fun and relatable way thar children will definitely relate to! This book gave me a few giggles as I read it and although the book is fun and even silly in places, it also has some very educational information and facts within it relating especially to science.
Cookie investigates a few different mysteries in this book which all come together at the end of the book and are all cleverly plotted and executed.
The illustrations remind me of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and are simple but effective and break up the text for children as they read it and make it even more enjoyable!
I lived this book so much and just know the children I work with plus my own child, will absolutely love this series.

If you've read the rest of the Cookie! books then you know what to expect by now! All the favourite characters are back, along with a few new older kids. I loved the introduction of Nani and would have loved to see more of her, she seemed like such a fun character!

I cant really pinpoint why, but this was the least favourite in the series for me, I think maybe because there were less life lessons?! I still would love to see some more of Cookie and her wonderful Nani!

Such an excellent series.

I love the scientific experiments and explanations at the end. It means I can do some of them with my kids once they’ve read the books.

I love how each of them explores a different part of science. And always had a moral to the story. This is so important with children it helps them learn and develop there understanding.

Littering, hacking and everyday life as a kid are all explored. I enjoyed reading them and I’m an adult! Can’t wait for my 8 year old to pick these up

A huge thank you to @kaleidoscopictours and @cookie for not one but all 3 books. I honestly am so grateful for you giving me books 1 and 2 before my tour for Cookie and the most mysterious mystery in the world.

My review is for my overall thoughts of all three books and I can tell you this, this series is so much fun!
Konnie Huq has always been a big icon to me and so seeing her amazing work just makes me love her more.

Cookie is a 9 year old, science lover who is just an absolute joy. I absolutely love the bengali rep and also talking about STEM. I really feel lots of little girls will feel like Cookie is them. That they're finally represented and characters. They're seen.
Each book brings so much laughter. Book one is the very annoying boy, where he takes the kitten she desperately wanted, stole the spot for a games show she wanted to be in and lives next door to her. This boy just ruins EVERYTHING!
Book 2 follows the annoying girl. Cookie manages to bag some tickets to see popstar Aliana Tiny, but classmate and sworn enemy Suzie Ashby all of a sudden wants to be her bff. But Suzie is soooo annoying. Then somehow she loses her best friends Jake and Keziah and now she needs to get them back, ditch Suzie and be a badass and save the planet..
Book 3 follows Cookie finally getting to see her Nani who has come all the way from Bangladesh. But she doesn't speak English and Cookie is the only one in the family who doesn't speak Bengali. Luckily, science-mad Cookie realises that her coding lessons at school might help her crack the language code and help her bond with Nani. But not only has she got grandparents to deal with, she soon starts noticing odd things going on.
Like why is Jake's mum acting so weird? Who is the mystery gamer who keeps levelling-up in Cookie's computer game? And who is the Woodburn Hacker, who keeps posting teachers' secrets on the school website? Why does it look like it might be Cookie herself? Cookie again needs to save the world.

The first book I read and also listened on audio and just the about me part of the book, made me instantly know I love this book. What I love about Konnies work is the detail she put in, not just her writing but even the illustrations and doodles. Everything was done by Konnie, even the audiobooks. Continuing on with all of the books, feels like each story levels up. We have friendships, fears, multicultural, being true to yourself. All these books have so many important topics but done in a fun witty way.

I loved these books and I'm 30 so I personally think all ages will devour this series. I certainly will be keeping these safe for my daughter and will be giving them to her when she's older. I think she'll absolutely love them just as much as me.

This is the third book in the wonderful Cookie series by Konnie Huq , and it is absolutely brilliant ! Not only does she write the books but she does the illustrations for them too !

I would say it is more for ages 7+ , it has lovely illustrations throughout the book making it a joy to read . I love Cookie (the food and the character!) , we get to meet her Nani , problem is Nani only speaks Bengali and Cookie cannot understand her ... the first of her problems to solve!

It is such a fun book to read , and I love how Cookie uses the tools available to her to be able to connect with her nani , it is a lovely way to show a child's point of view of not understand other people.  A brilliant book for kids (and adults!)

Cookie and the Most Mysterious Mystery in the World is a brilliantly funny and entertaining book for children.

I really enjoyed the character of Cookie and how she narrates the ongoings in her life. There is so much drama that unfolds in the story, her thoughts and reactions are spot on to be relatable for MG readers. Cookie is also very clever, and a brilliant investigator, piecing together the snippets of information she has to solve the mysteries.

Mixed in with the silliness and antics that Cookie and her friends get up to there is a lot of educational information about all sorts of sciency and computery type things. As a parent and librarian, I love that! Sneaky! You don’t even notice that you are learning, it flows so well with the story.

The illustrations work really well, they are comical and break up the pages nicely for children that are put off by a lot of text on a page.

I can see this being a massive hit with the younger students at our school, I will be recommending it to the DOAWK and Tom Gates fans for sure!

It’s a good book. But I could work out the mystery quite easily.

What a wonderful collection of books that will look beautiful on any child's shelves.

My oldest who I know will absolutely love them she is fascinated by Blue Peter at the moment and knowing Konnie came from Blue Peter is a huge bonus for her her.

This book was really easy to read with short chapters, the illustrations on the pages are really fun and think kids will love them. These also added a really comical aspect to the book.

The way you are taught things and it's spoke about was really informative and I think that would be really helpful for the kids because it's not only factual, it's also made to be fun and that's what they need.

As an adult reading it it was funny to look back on how you teach your children. For example the first chapter talks about as answering their questions with nothing when you think the subject isn't to do with them and stuff like that and then they have they just think we're not telling them things. I have a lot in my house, my daughter is always asking me questions which I answer with nothing/I'm talking to dad. Maybe sometimes should we be explaining these conversations because you don't know how much of an effect that's having on them. I think it was really good in the way it also made me think about how I do certain things with my children.

I received this book as part of the Kaleidoscope book tour.

So who else grew up watching Konnie Huq on blue Peter? Then you can imagine how excited I was when her children’s book series came through my letterbox!

First of all, my 6 year old son read this in 3 days- he was hooked! Then he immediately moved onto Cookie and the most annoying girl in the world.

Cookie and The Most Mysterious Mystery in the World is the third book in the series lead by strong, female main character Cookie. She is determined, smart and a great role model for kids. (Swipe for blurb)

There are brilliant mysteries to follow throughout this book and I loved the fun approach to the educational elements and tech-y nuggets of knowledge!

In amongst Cookies antics, the book explores language barriers and different cultures which is brilliant and I’m grateful my son was offered this example of diversity and inclusivity in such a fun way.

Konnie’s funny, lively writing and illustrations have completely captured my sons imagination and had him in fits of giggles!

Love to read the cookie books with my 9 year old. They are really funny without being silly poo jokes (very little at least) and have a few life lessons and a diverse cast. Although the main character is s girl, they are great for boys too!

This one was a bit disjoint for me. Nani arrives but nothing much happens with her. There's a science show and a mystery about Jake's mum....
