What was it like to grow up in the sixties? These are my memories the way I remember them—no mention of Woodstock or the Vietnam War. I was just a little kid in a big family in a small town. A young boy with a lot of dreams. Many memories of playing, going to church, forts in the woods, and trying to make friends. Many of the memories are painfully awkward- like the 3rd-grade romance and even the 12th-grade romance! The humiliation and victory of baseball, dirt clod wars, and slaughterball.
