Fate does nothing in halves! I have been in the Underworld for two years, or so I thought. Until Xavier turns up and shatters my perception of time. Now he’s here battling his own demons. Speaking of demons, did I mention I’m in love with one. I have a job to do but no clue how to do it. Containing the devil won’t be easy. I can’t access my magic, and I am no closer to finding a way out of here. I’ve been warned that my family is in trouble, and Tia is the only one standing in the way of those who want to harm us. I can’t let her do it alone. If Shade gets his way, my family, the love of my life, and the future of humanity will the lost to the darkness. The end of this journey will be an uphill battle, but I’m an Owensen. I will prevail. I am the Chosen. It’s my destiny.
Destiny is an 18+ Paranormal Romance and the last book in the Owensen Witches series.
This was an amazing end to the series. I really enjoyed the way everything was tied together throughout the series and it was a bit heart breaking to see the series end. You get an amazing balance of all paranormal forces while still keeping the witches at the front of the novel.
Book 3 of the Owenson series is finally tieing in together the promise I had seen in the first two books. I loved seeing the different perspectives of each characters. Some I loved and some I didn't enjoy as much as I felt it was a bit of a repitition. It was refreshing to read from Nev's persepctive again and the epilogue left me wanting to know more. I would highly recommend this series
Ancient prophecies and the fate of humankind. Is it possible to defeat the Devil?
Destiny is the third and final installment of the Owensen Witches trilogy, a Paranormal Romance series. There is romance and there are some scenes of a sexual nature, most of them alluded to rather than descriptive.
I enjoyed this book. This author has improved markedly since her first novella. Her storytelling moves at a good pace and her writing pulls you in and brings the characters to life. They are all well developed and interact with each other in a believable way. I’m really glad I read the full trilogy. They get better with each book.
This book focuses on a final battle against the Devil in the war against an evil which intends to bring about the downfall of humankind. It is filled with a plethora of supernatural beings; Witches, Shifters, Vampires, Archangels, Nephilim, Demons and even the Devil himself. There are battles and family feuds, good and evil, light and dark magic. In the face of all that, there is also love and the importance of family connection.
“I can’t believe I’m letting go this trilogy go. I was dying to read the last part and finally it’s here though I’ve mix feelings of happiness and sadness. It’s hard to put in words without giving details but I’m still not 100% sure I really like how things ended up. Perhaps I’ve been reading too much RH and I want all my stories to be like that but man I didn’t like at all Xavier’s ending neither with whom he ended up with. Don’t get me wrong I totally understood the ending and why things needed to be like that but my team Xavier is broken hearted. Anyway, aside from that part I really like how the plot developed nothing to slow but fast enough to have me glued to the pages. The epilogue was shocking like wow, left me out of words and dying to know more. I’m saying goodbye to this trilogy and looking forward for what’s coming. BTW, if you’re wondering about the steam well you won’t be getting all the spicy details that can burn your kindle but not a clean romance so that’s good.”
Have you ever read something that made your soul dance? Destiny by Dreia Wells, the third book in the Owensen Witches series delivered the promise I saw in books one and two. Dreia not only met my expectations, she greatly exceeded them. I loved how Dreia ties everything together. We see previous characters from the first two books and we meet some really gorgeous characters in book three. What I really enjoyed was the multi POV. It made the book flow so easily. I loved some of her descriptions and humour too. What was great was it made me feel! There were poignant moments where I wanted to cry too. I really look forward to anything else Dreia writes in future because so far, I love her work.
What a wild ride these Owensen ladies have been on! This final book find them making alliances in unexpected places, matters of the hearts explored and a resolution to the centuries long deal made with Shade. This has been an awesome family to get to know and watch and grow! Highly recommend this series.
Love love loved this book! The chemistry between the characters were amazing. This is a brilliant series. Tia and Nev are definitely my favourite characters. Jaspyr and Lucas are a great addition to the storyline. And that little cliffy if the epilogue was just shocking! Definitely give these books a read. You will not be disappointed!!
This was an amazing series! All the pieces finally fall into place from the other two books. But it isn’t the end of these characters’ stories yet! Can’t wait for the next book. Definitely a good versus evil story. Full of romance and action. There’s no slow moment in this book. Highly recommend it!
This is an absolutely fantastic book. The culmination and wrap up story was phenomenal. I enjoyed seeing these badass witches mate with awesome partners. This is just a great series.
The final book of the Owenson Witches proves to be just as thrilling and entertaining as the rest of the series. The series has been a wild ride from start to finish, and has never failed to entertain. The characters have grown an incredible amount since the beginning and seeing where they ended up is satisfying. If you haven't read the first two books, they are an absolute must!
I absolutely loved this book!! In fact, the entire series had me patiently (or impatiently) awaiting the next installment!!! You NEED to read this book and the rest in the Owensen Witches series!!! It will grab you from the very start, make you laugh, make you cry, make you scream out in frustration in all the best ways! Grab your copy today. I promise you’re going to love it as much as I did.
I devoured the first two books whilst patiently waiting to read Destiny. Dreia brings you right into the stories with her and I love the character development throughout the books.
This book is about the final standoff with the Devil and trying to stop the downfall of human kind. The story from start to finish has been incredible, the journey the family has been on. I mean I can't imagine knowing or looking over my shoulder my whole life knowing the Devil may choose me to be his.
I love this series and I cannot wait to see what comes next from Dreia.
All of the planing finally paid off! Those stuck in the underworld endured all of shades shenanigans. They plotted and planned and held tight to their results even though he tried to get them to show emotion and attempt retaliation against him. They were patient, calculating, And operated in stealth. Those on earth had to deal with aunt Helen, her minions and her schemes. Wow trying to stay alive. They also had to formulate a plan to keep their loved ones alive, not alert at Helen, and bide their time until Nev arrived. There was so much action and suspense, and everything came down to the wire, but they were victorious! What an amazing read, and I am so glad I took a chance on this series! I highly recommend it
I couldn't stand Neveah she did a total 180 on Xavier when she entered the underworld, i think it somehow changed her so subtly she didn't realize, and just accepted her behaviour as normal, kinda' like time passing differently. And Eddie when she delivered the kid i would have beat the brakes off that bitch, but no just like the typical fairly tail everyone is loving, forgiving, welcoming, i call bollocks.
Ms.Wells weaved a wonderful tail filled with intrigue, redemption, and love...along with bitter sweetness concerning Tia and Michael's feelings for each other. I honestly think Michael pulled a trick for Tia. Angels are cryptic and never tell folks everything.
The entire series was a true delight. I enjoyed all of the characters and world that was laid out. Such a page turning fun and interesting storyline. Still a bit upset about the epilogue ending unless another book is on its way….
You will love the journey to defeat Lucifer and all the new relationships forming. We learn more about each charchter and wven learn some new ones. This book will leave you wanting more.
This was a long story with a lot of fillers. I love the story, plot and characters. The different animals and beings were great! All & all, a good read💓
All questions answered. All situations remedied. Everything from the previous books were wrapped up nicely and the changes fit perfectly. Wonderfully done
I love her books!! This one was more tame *wink wink* than the other books I’ve read from her, but the storyline was still AMAZING!!! Don’t just reas this book, read them ALL!!!
A good enough series which completed most of the plot lines by the end of this book but with a very clear suggestion that there will be a follow on book.
