This book had a lot of twists and turns that had me reading until the very last page. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

With the sad premise of the story being about a woman with a terminal illness, readers go in thinking the story will be very sad. But with a surprise twist of events, the author pleasantly surprises readers with a happier tale than first expected. This story is about working through terminal illness, past and present relationships, and dealing with unwanted job positions. It’s about working through the struggles of life, the bad, the good, and the in-between. Life isn’t easy, but it’s easier with those you love. This is a sweet contemporary romance that readers will enjoy.

With Every Breath was an uplifting second chance romance. I was concerned that with the heroine receiving a scary health diagnosis, that this book would weigh me down emotionally. Well, it was actually the opposite. The diagnosis led to a rekindling of romance between two people who truly regretted their breakup years earlier. And although they had to walk through some tough decisions and there were scary health moments for the heroine, especially early on in the story, this book was full of hope. The hope of true love and sacrifice and the hope that God has everything under control whether we know it or not.
I loved the way Nina and Andrew’s love was rekindled and the way that Andrew was there for Nina. He made some big sacrifices, and although I was not very sure about some of the decisions he made, especially regarding his toxic family environment, I still really enjoyed the way everything progressed. It looks like Andrew’s brother, Darius, will be featured in the next book.

A reconnection of old lovers brought together by a health scare that puts things in perspective for them
It's a nice tale of watching them trying to navigate this illness, Drews relationship with his father and how they try to deal with these new situations.
I loved how Drew was willing to fight for them despite the fact that the outlook of what Nina's prognosis was.

Was an unbelievable story. Things moved way to fast. Who gets married after not seeing a person for 15years? This was a tough read for me. I think this is a one and done. I won’t finish the series.

Nina is using her gifts to be a light to others, encouraging women with her words, both written and spoken. But when a wave of dizziness and other health issues lead to a dire prognosis, she knows there are things in her life she needs to make right-and fast.
Andrew has one regret in life-not going after Nina when she didn’t take his marriage proposal seriously. They followed different paths in life, neither one knowing exactly how the other felt when the relationship ended. But could Nina’s decision to return and see him again reignite that long ago spark?
This is a feel-good holiday romance, the Christmas theming subtle and used to bring the setting to life with casual mentions of eight-foot-tall Christmas trees and beloved songs playing on the radio. Amidst the feelings of seasonal joy, Nina and Andrew are two emotionally mature, even-keeled professionals who are self-aware enough to know what they want out of life and where they’ve made mistakes along the way. The McCall's are a well-to-do family in the resort lifestyle business from GA. The eldest son Andrew is a college professor that's not interested in following in his dad's footsteps. The 👪 drama stems from dad wanting his son to become CEO. Andrew repeatedly declines. Back into his life comes former college sweetheart Nina with an incurable illness and a small proposal. Good storyline. I would recommend this 📖 to others.
Now, on to Book 2 and finding out what younger brother Darius McCall is really angry about.

Talk about a premise that caught me right in the heart! A few years ago I was diagnosed with an incurable disease that gave me a few years to live. I never thought I’d live to see 40 but am happy to report that I celebrated that milestone in May, and it’s thanks to multiple doctors and nurses that have helped me to live my best life.
When you are put into that predicament it really makes you see life differently, which is exactly what Nina does in With Every Breath, when she too is diagnosed with an incurable prognosis. In those moments you do things you otherwise wouldn’t do, daring to dream and do since you have nothing left to lose. For Nina, it was being honest with herself, and finally listening to what her heart’s been telling her for years. She belongs with Andrew.
Even though it’s been years since he’s seen her, Andrew has also never let Nina go from his mind and heart, so when she comes back into his life he will do whatever it takes to be in her life, for the rest of her life, no matter how long that may be.
There were moments that I had tears blurring the pages that I read, feeling this story deeper than most. I’ve been in Nina’s shoes, and I was blessed to have my soulmate by my side as well, though I wish I could’ve had the twist that she had!
Though the writing is simple, it is poetic in its simplicity. The message shines like diamonds through the pages, and though it was a quick read I enjoyed every sweet morsel, and I’m sure you will too. There is an emotional depth and faith that doesn’t feel forced, but is the most natural thing, and it truly was a joy to read With Every Breath.

What happens when a successful motivational speaker, at the top of her career, collapses after an event and receives news from medical professionals that she only has one month to live? For Nina, that's her sign to try to reconnect with her college sweetheart, Andrew, whom she broke up with on no uncertain terms. But, she's regretted that decision ever since. She decides to invite him to go to the Bahamas with her; what more gorgeous place could she spend some of her last days in?
Andrew never got over Nina either. Risking the professorship he's worked so hard on, Andrew has no doubts about moving forward. He jumps at the chance to help her, but he has more in mind than just helping her. (Nothing untoward!) And the two go to the Bahamas. And...so much more to come!
I loved Natasha D. Frazier's writing style and her delightful characters who are at great places in their careers but value each other so greatly that those positions are set aside. And, their faith! Andrew in particular displays a high regard for women and responsibility. Nina is faithful as well, but of course as you can imagine, she's in the middle of quite a faith journey at the moment herself.
I definitely recommend With Every Breath to you. Gorgeous locations, lovable characters, and an amazing story. Don't miss this!

From the blurb, I was worried that this book was going to be incredibly sad. But it surprised me! There was a lot of hope and encouragement to make the most of the time we've been given packed in these pages.
I had mixed feelings about the McCall family, simply because they look like a mess on the surface but I can tell there's much more to them than meets the eye. I'm very intrigued to discover more about them. And as for Andrew and Nina, I loved that the author showed the different aspects of their situation and how that could affect their relationship.
This was an interesting idea and I enjoyed the overall delivery. There were a few story-related aspects that felt convenient or frustrating that I can't discuss because of spoilers, but I would definitely read more about this family from this author!

There is history and remorse with these two characters. Neither has forgotten the other in fifteen years. When Nina enters Andrew’s life again, he’s determined to resist her but unable to do so, especially when he learns about her health issues.
Frazier doesn’t give many details about Nina’s symptoms (there’s a recurring one but that’s about it) but watching Andrew care for her and believe in a future for her despite the prognosis proves he’s a good guy.

My Opinion:

Nina and Andrew McCall after many many years apart finally pursue love. I inadvertently read the books out of order and this book filled in some gaps from the series. Andrew was an admirable character. His life desire was to be a professor. But we will all make sacrifices for family. But the McCall family for sure have some family dysfunction going on. It’s no wonder Andrew considered a different path. The elder Mrs. McCall I suppose just understands and accepts the craziness. Even thru the dysfunction, the love is present. Nina, is just extra, but once she finds how she can fit, I feel she will be fine. We often must grow to reach or satisfy our purpose. She knows part of her purpose but has to learn how to fit the whole life puzzle together. A good read.

Surprisingly Good
I have to that as I made it to the second chapter I was ready to stop reading this book. I really didn’t like the sadness that was slowly creeping upon me. However something told me to keep reading and I am so glad I did ❤️.
This is truly a story about how God always has the finale say and that He truly moves in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. Because Lord knows it was going to take an act of God to solve the dysfunction in the McCall family🤦🏽♀️
This was surprisingly good and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I felt that it ended a bit abruptly due to my unanswered questions.
Knowing that this is book one of the series perhaps I will get the answers to my questions by the middle of book 2.

Lots of twists and turns in this one!
It took a terminal disease for Nina to reach out to the only man she has ever loved. Even though she put her career ahead of Drew, years ago and walked out, Drew forgave her and trusted that it would be different this time.
I loved how they both stood on their faith in GOD, for Nina's healing. And then for the courage to stand against those family members who came against them to block their plans for a future together.
I also loved the beautiful prayers Ms. Frazier shared in this awesome story. Why? Because prayer CHANGES things!!!

I went into this story thinking it would be a for sure tear jerker but a turn of events brought on great news. Though it was a blessing that Nina was not terminal, I did not like her! This character was so selfish! I truly felt that Andrew deserved better. Up until almost the very end, she acted like the world revolved around her and sun set on her ass. By miracle, not only was she healed but she finally cast away that selfish trait.

I am glad I took a chance on reading this book, which I picked at random and enjoyed. I am still trying to wrap my mind around Andrew's character.
Why did he accept Nina's , No and not fight for her in college?
Why did Nina think she would hold him back by saying, Yes?
God's timing is always best, so glad they found their way back together!

At first the book started a little slow for me. I wasn’t quite invested in the characters. But as I continued to read I fell in love with characters and their storylines. What God has you it is for you. It may take time to realize it but as you continue except God’s leading and have faith things will work out in the end. Truly beautiful!

Nina and Andrews story will touch your heart in so many ways, I no it touched mine. Make sure to have a box of tissues close by, especially if you are as emotional as I or going through something in your life. This is a great story about Faith, Trust, Family, Love, and Life’s choices. I was scared the whole time
I enjoyed the story, but I was scared the entire time. Family is everything, but anyone who hails from a larger, connected family knows that relationships need work. I'm happy it worked for Andrew and Nina. I feel like some other foundational items could have been added for this to be a 5, but it was really good. I'm looking forward to Darius ' story.

very good
This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was captivated at hello. Now, I loved Andrew but I didnt like Nina lol. She was very selfish and I found myself being so frustrated with her. She didn’t deserve Drew even though I’m glad things worked out for them. I will definitely be reading the next story.

Loved it
A great story of forgiveness, family, friendship and love
Andrew and Nina's love for each other never ended
Which showed that true love finds its way back to the persons it is meant for
Pursuing happiness and finding faith were important aspects of this story as well

With Every Breath is well worth the read!
This is my first time reading a book by Natasha D. Frazier but I can say it will not be my last. With Every Breath was heartwarming, full of love and God and the story of Nina and Andrew was captivating. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series and more from this author.

Great Story!
I happened upon this book as a recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. The author gave great context, transitions and enough interest to keep me reading until I realized I finished. Of course I figured the ending would be as it was because of how it started but it was a great read nonetheless.

Great Read
This was the first novel that I have read by Natasha D. Frazier. I enjoyed the storyline even though it had a sad beginning. But oh how things turned around for good. Great read that captured my attention from start to finish. I loved Book 1 and can’t wait to start the next one in the series.

I’m sorry but this book was tough to finish? The book had way to many holes. Why did Darius just switch? Where are they going to live? Did he take the job? What happen to her house? So she got pregnant on the wedding night. Tooo much I’m sorry I did plan on reading the other but I can’t stomach it . So sorry

I enjoyed reading this book of hope. There was the prodigal son. The trusting God. When a man loves a woman. Faith over fear. Family battles. Not believing the report of Drs.
