This could easily have been a five star read. I absolutely love reading about people living in haunted houses, but I hate it when they try to analyze the phenomena. There is no explaining "ghosts", and really no point in trying if you're not a qualified scientist.
Much of the writing in this book is repetitive which made this book a bit of a pain for me to finish. I really wish I could tell you how many times the author talked about coincidences, the number three, and how they are oh so psychically aware since living in their Evergreen home.
This book didn't even scare me until I got to the very end where the author was theorising what the source of paranormal phenomena is.If your looking for a good ghost story I would suggest you look for it in a different book.

The biggest draw of this book is that it details a haunting in my neighborhood. The book isn't very well organized, parts feel redundant, and the excessive use of exclamation points were turnoffs to me. Certain chapters were interesting but overall the book was not a very cohesive narrative. I would recommend an alternative unless you are particularly interested in hauntings in Baltimore.
