Hunter Brothers #3

Tangled with the CEO

Rate this book
SiennaMy boss asks me to go to Vegas with him. No, not like that! I mean, he's hot enough to burn off a girl's panties, but we don't see each other like that. Okay, he doesn't. Nope. It's his brother's stag party, but he's a workaholic who likes to spend even his weekends working! That's where I come in. His trusted PA.He figures by having me there in Vegas he could sneak in some work during the day and play at night. It all goes great until... I wake up in the morning and I'm not alone. My boss is in my bed. And I'm naked. Then I discover, oh God no, there's a gold band on my wedding hand that wasn't there the night before. It has to be a mistake. We stare at each other in horror. Slowly, my boss lifts up his hand, Yep, there's a gold band on his finger too. The look on the man who always has the answer is priceless. For two years we've exchanged a completely professional relationship and now we're married? It's just too crazy to contemplate. What the hell happened last night? How was it possible that neither of us could remember saying I do! Obviously, the right thing to do was to end this marriage mistake and tell no one. Mark it down to an embarrassing chapter of our lives. It might be a bit awkward at the beginning, but we would eventually go back to the relationship we had before. That worked just fine. What stays in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? But somewhere deep inside I didn't want what happened in Vegas to stay In Vegas.I wanted to feel his skin against mine again.I wanted to keep my shiny new wedding ring.

This was a good read. Chance is in Vegas for his brothers wedding. He is a workaholic and decides to bring Sierra. They get really drunk and end up accidentally married. Things get complicated between them. Thankfully everything works out for them in the end and they get their happy ending.

Okay well apparently I am the only one who wasn't overly fond of this book. I found the story to be boring, cliché and I don't know nothing new in this genre whatsoever.
I guess this is where I am at with reading now.
Maybe it is because I have read so many of these books but I could actually skim read this and figure this story out with 0 problems.
Vegas stag - check
Boss who works too much - check
She likes him - he doesn't notice her - check
Outta nowhere - damn look at her - check
Way too much drinking - check
Blackout - check
Shit we got married - we are like a stupid movie - check
Sorry I don't want to be married - annulment - check
One more time - Check
He's an asshole - Check
At least she stands up for herself - Woot Woot
Ooooops I was a dick - grand gesture time - check
All is right in the world - check

I couldn't even connect with these two because she always noticed him and he never noticed her until BAM there she is.. heeeyyyyyy
Come the hell on.
So no I'm sorry I really didn't enjoy this much. :(

Fun and romantic story of Chance (the CEO) and Sierra (his personal assistant). Chance goes to Vegas with his brothers for Seb’s stag party and arranges for Sierra to meet him there so they can get some work done. Chance and Sierra wake up the next morning in Chance’s bed, they are both naked, and have no clue what happened the night before. While trying to find out, their attraction begins to grow.

Throughout the story, we see Chance grow and become less about work and more about life in general. But of course not without mistakes, angst, and miscommunication along the way. They may be compatible in the bedroom but can they make it work otherwise?

I love the banter between Chance and Sierra, especially that fact that Sierra can say things with a straight face and Chance believes her. Then they can both laugh about as Sierra teases Chance even more. My favorite/funniest scene is in the cab as they are starting to go to wedding chapels to see if they can find a witness for the annulment. Not only the song that plays but the way the cab driver smirks at them and tries to get them to talk as he makes assumptions. My favorite/romantic scene is the next time they both hear that song played again.

This is the third and final book in the Hunter Brothers Series and can be read as a complete standalone. I recommend reading the other books first so you get the most enjoyment out of Chance’s story.

P.S. Catch up with Chance’s brothers and their significant others in the epilogue.

Chance is in Las Vegas for his brother's wedding. Tonight is the stag party and they're going to spend Sebastian's last night of "freedom" on the strip. This could prove to be difficult for Chance because he can't go a day without work. 7 days a week he's doing something connected to the office and that includes during the brothers' celebration in Vegas. To make matters worse, he asked his assistant to come to Vegas to help him get some work done. For two years Sierra has sat at his right hand and, for all those years, they've kept things cordial. That's before a night of hitting the bars, strip joints, restaurants and The Chapel of Endless Love left them naked in bed and married the following morning, with no memory of what happened the night before. They're drawn to each other and they discover a passion that they never knew existed before now. How is it going to be in the office? Do they pretend it never happened? This is where Chance became unlikable. He  pushed Sierra away, wouldn't look her in the eye, ignored her in the office and then, had the audacity to transfer her to the London office. Way more than three strikes! Sierra was fairly good about standing up for herself and choosing to be honest with him, even if he could not. They do have a happy ending and the epilogues are delightful.

Sierra has worked for Chance as his PA for two years. Although she is attracted to him, his is a workaholic and doesn't seem to have any life outside of the office. Even taking Sierra will him so she can work whilst he is in Vegas with his brothers for Sebastian's stag weekend.

Chance relies on Sierra and trusts her completely but she's his PA and that's it. Until they both wake in the same bed, hungover and wearing wedding rings. Can what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas? They agree it can and should.

So why when they return to the office does the tension escalate and Chance can't get her off of his mind. Work is everything to him and yet he can't concentrate knowing she is just a short distance away from his office. So he comes up with a solution.

Sierra is struggling with the situation at work but believes that if they still want each other, then a relationship could be developed outside of the office if that is what they both want, and she thinks it is. However, she is extremely angry and hurt by Chance's solution and immediately resigns.

Does Chance want to win her back and just as importantly can he come up with a grand gesture to prove that he is truly sorry, when words haven't helped in that respect.

Another great read from Iona

This is the third and final book in the Hunter Brothers Series and can be read as a standalone. If you've read the first two books you will recognize many of the characters and Chance's brothers. Chance was a workaholic but had to go to Vegas for his brother's stag party. He convinced Sierra his PA to come so they could work during the day. They were not an item and only had a professional relationship. Imagine their surprise when they wake up in bed naked except for wedding rings. Neither could remember what happened and they decided an annulment was best. Their back and forth banter was hilarious. Chance and Sierra were so great together and she is just what this serious CEO needed to loosen him up a bit. I loved this book and couldn't put it down once I started reading. The characters are great and Sierra is a master of sarcasm. You won't be disappointed as this is a great book. Cute Vegas Mishap . . .

Sierra is asked by her boss, Chance, to go to Vegas with him, primarily for his brother’s party but also to get some work done. He is hoping that having his PA there in Vegas, he can work and still have a little time for play later.

The plan is perfect until they wake up in the morning next to each other in bed and naked. Each has a lovely gold wedding band on the ring finger – and no idea what happened the night before that led to this! So do they quickly get an annulment and pretend this never happened? Or will they realize, by the time they get home, that this doesn’t feel so bad and maybe they could try it a little bit more?

If only he didn’t make that huge mistake later, the marriage might have actually had a good chance of working out! Has he ruined his last chance to make things right?

This was a really good story with humor and lots of adjustments and changes along the way. Grab your copy and find out if they make it over the bumps and hurdles to find happiness together.

The third and last book in the Hunter Brother series does not disappoint. It is Chance and Sierra's story.
He is a workaholic alpha male that does not take time for himself. He goes to Vegas for his brother's bachelor weekend and makes his assistant come along so work can be done while he is there. When he finally agrees to his brother's no work policy, he ends up waking up in bed with his assistant and neither can remember what happened. Since they have had nothing but a professional relationship up to this point bother are flabbergasted that they somehow got married during their drunken night. They decide and annulment is the best way to go but is it? This is a good story with some stellar moments and conversations. Chance does some really stupid things that he has to make up for in many ways. Sierra is a smart and independent woman that shows her strength in many ways. Enjoyed the read. While this is the third book it can be read as a stand alone book.

Off to Vegas with his brothers Sebastian and Matt, and friends for Seb’s bachelor party
Chance is an architect, the youngest brother and doesn’t let his hair down enough.
Sierra has been Chances chief assistant for the last two years with the two of them having an efficient and successful business relationship.
Sierra accompanies chance to Vegas so that he can continue to work while he’s at the stag party.
When he and Sierra manage an epic ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’ they agree that their working relationship will not be affected. But it’s impossible. Chance cannot stop thinking about Sierra and vice versa....
This was the third book in the Hunter brothers series and it was thoroughly enjoyed and entertaining. A fabulous finish.

Chance is in Vegas for his brother Wedding and is supposed to be taking a break from work. However when he gets a call from a client he shoots into work mode. Seirra is his personal asistant and he invited her to Vegas for work and for fun. Things get complicated when they wake up the next day and find themselves naked in bed together. Neither remembers what happened the night before and try to remember what they did as sparks fly between them. Its not long before things heat up between them and they give into temptation. Will Chance admit he has feelings for her before its too late? Can they make things work?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter to the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The series ended as it began with an "eh." It's a "What happened in Vegas" plot with a boss/employee relationship. Both of those CAN be good plots. They can also be good plots when put together. But this one just didn't hold my interest. It was kind of boring and predictable. Don't get me wrong; I adore this author. She writes some really fun books. This trilogy, though? I don't know what is up with it, but I just COULD NOT get into it.

Chase is a total workaholic who arranges for his assistant Sierra to come to Vegas while he’s at his brother’s bachelor party just so he can squeeze in a bit of extra work. But things don’t go quite to plan and they wake up in the morning naked, wearing wedding rings with no memory of the night before! This book was such a lot of fun - following them on their journey as they work together to find out what happened and decide on the best way forward. Enjoyed the character development and the interactions between them as their story unfolds. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it won’t be the last.

Chance is a workaholic but promises his brother that he will leave work behind on their bachelor party trip to Vegas. Chance tries to keep his word, but secretly he has his PA, Sierra, fly in and take the room next door so they can work. Of course he gets busted, but she agrees to stay and work. After a guilt trip from the guys he gives her the night off. The last thing Sierra remembers is getting dressed up to head out on her own...so how does she wake up in bed with Chance and wearing a wedding ring?! Reading how they deal with everything is a roller coaster ride of emotions with tons of snark, and of course the attraction they can't deny. Loved this! I received this ARC from Bad boy Updates.

This story wasn’t good, it was fantastic!!!
You get into the story and don’t want to put it down till the end. Iona has a nice writing style which I love.
The vibe between Chance and Sierra was warm and romantic, their banter so funny.
You can sense that they are made for each other.
I loved how Sierra could make him struggling with her sarcasm and how his brothers got him wind up in Vegas.
During the wedding he became this warm and cute guy but boy did he make mistakes...
Trust me you need to read this one!

It was ample time for Chance to change something in his life! I really liked the way Iona Rose made it happen. The struggle starts in Vegas, as a lot of struggles do...
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas didn’t come up out of the blue!
But the way it takes to overcome this is what makes it special. Not everything is sunshine and roses and sometimes pretending it is just doesn’t cut it. Lovely HEA and a special thank you for the wonderful epilogues on Matt and Callie and Sebastian and Carl and Kimberly!!!

Who would have thought Chance Hunter would fly off with his brothers for Sebastian's stag party, and the workaholic wakes up married to his assistant that he had sneak in so they could get work done? Neither remembers anything. He spends some time with her to find a witness who can swear she was drunk in order to get an annulment. But, thinking what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, they indulge in passionate lovemaking. Of course, Chance has more trouble than he thought he would and tries to rectify the situation by putting her off completely. Reading about him stewing in the mess he made was entertaining, to say the least. We also caught up on the brothers and their girlfriends.

So I did not know this was part of a series before reading this book and I didn’t find that I was missing information or read any major spoilers so in theory you could read this as a stand-alone. The epilogue has sections for characters from each of the books are which I obviously didn’t understand completely but it’s fine.

This was a really short book and the plot was extremely simple. I think it’s main problem (not really) was that there wasn’t enough going on. I don’t think there were many plot twists or drama even. I did think it was kind of funny at parts though which was nice. The chemistry at parts felt forced so it wasn’t consistent for me.

Vegas!!!

The story of Workaholic Chance Hunter and his secretary Sierra Lowe is absolutely amazing!!! The chemistry between these two is electric and those bedroom scenes are off the scale hot.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas well not always and definitely not for these two but then where would be the fun in that.

This story is a real rollercoaster ride it will have you laughing so hard and sad the next minute it will have you cringing and then shouting with anger!!! The sign of a wonderfully written book and a fantastic author.

The Hunter Boys were awesome definitely worth a read you will fall in love with them instantly 100% recommend the series and the author

A love story that captures your attention from the beginning to the end.

Beautiful love story but I was confused as who was the middle brother Chance (as reference in book 1) or Sebastian. I enjoyed how the story started with a boss and his PA in Vegas gets married after a drunken night. That is the story of Chance and Sierra that couldn’t figure how to manage their professionalism and their personal lives. Chance had to accept his feelings and Sierra tried to help but her feelings were just as strong for him as his were for her. I recommend reading the Hunter Brothers series.

Workaholic Chance sets off for his brother's stag weekend in Vegas, taking his assistant Sierra so she can carry on working while he is partying. But his brothers insist he invites her to join them on their first night out there. Unexpected events complicate the outcome of their drunken evening. As Chance and Sierra try to unravel what happened they end up together. Deciding they will return to their professional working relationship when they get back to the office. The trouble is they have both developed feelings. A fun, hot and entertaining read. Read an ARC for an honest review.

The author has pulled us into the lives of Chase and Sierra and does not let go. She is his assistant and heads to Vegas so that she can get some work done while he is attending the stag party of his brother. However, what will it take to get him to stop working and enjoy life? Will Sierra be his saving grace?

Good romance
It's a good romance, well written, touching at times and very hot, but also a bit predictable because of the theme.
Chance, usually the most reasonable of his brothers, changes in Vegas at his brother's bachelor party and wakes up married to his assistant Sierra. Between attraction, marriage annulment and work, the relationship between Chance and Sierra is more than complicated.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Chance and Sierra are ment to be together, they just don't realize it yet. Even an impromptu wedding in Vegas, neither of them can remember having does them any good. In fact, it's making ist worse until something has to give. Will the two of them finally find their way to each other or are they just to stubborn to fight for each other? A very nice story of two young people finding their ever after.

A Very Pleasurable Read
Iona Rose has written a very satisfying storyline that brings you in and holds your interest from start to finish. The main characters, Chance and Sierra know each other professionally but, that changes in Vegas and leaves one especially, to rethink work and love and how other people fit in.
This is a book that is well worth your time. PEACE.

Sierra and Chance never see each other as anything but who’s and assistant until a drunken night in Vegas. When they get hot, they get HOT! Chance really blows it by being a bit of an idiot, but he really is sweet. I would guess this is the end of the series since the last brother gets his HEA. The ending is several chapters in different viewpoints.

He’s the boss and she’s the assistant. Chance is a workaholic and is on a guys getaway for Sebastian. He asks Sierra to come with because he just doesn’t know how to stop working. One thing leads to another and they end up married. Will this be the new normal or will he go back to his old ways. Another good book to add to this series.

Take a Chance in Vegas.

Chance is the youngest Hunter brother, he kind is on the spectrum with his hyper focus on work. So much so, his assistant Sierra is in Vegas with him while he’s on his brothers’ stag party. It’s all about the work. Until it’s not. Until they wake up hitched in Vegas.

I didn’t like anything about this, honestly. I think the drama of not being together because they work together made no sense. I felt no chemistry, everything was tell not show, the pace felt off with lots of repetition, and even the steamy bits were boring. And the characters didn’t seem all that mature.

Not for me.

I really enjoyed Chance and Sierra story. I liked these two and I loved watching as their relationship evolved. Funny, cute, a bit oops! zaniness and filled with feels this book had me engaged and invested. Of my own accord I am posting a unprejudiced review.
