It is a really good book with amazing writing but after reading it a second time I really got bored with the story, in the end it has an amazing plot but getting to that plot is hard, it just goes too slowly on my opinion.
It reflects the situation with the COVID-19 really well and Camus has his way with words but again it just goes too slowly. It is really hard to give a book 3 stars that before I rated 5 stars but reading it for the second time didn’t make me love it as much. The story all together is brilliant but I think it could be maybe 100 pages shorter and the plot would still remain strong. In another word it was truly “comme-ci comme-ça”.
