Edge of Darkness

A 9.0 earthquake and the ensuing Tsunami will be the worst natural disaster in North American recorded history, In the immediate aftermath of the event, shock, horror, and a lost feeling will sweep through the survivors, but as the days go by and no help arrives, hunger, thirst, and a lack of shelter turn attitudes to survival of the fittest. Jason is desperate to find his wife. Is she still alive? With no shelter and little food or water, he must first save himself.

Nature will judge whether Man is a mere pawn in her game or one of her finest creations.

Bought this book at my recent trip to Astoria!! I love the PNW and this book WOW!! So amazing and I felt like I was apart of the group. Very descriptive and naturally scary!! Loved seeing Forest Grove make the book. My son goes to Pacific in Forest Grove!!

Timeline is difficult to follow. Too many characters to keep track of. A lot of inconsistencies throughout. In one paragraph the scene is described as a steady rain and the next sentence the characters are building a fire outside and saying that it looks like rain. Which is it- “pouring rain” or “it looks like rain?”

The storyline has potential. Not being from the West Coast I had no idea of the fault line concerns in the area. I found that interesting.
