The photos in this book of California and its coast are astounding. I was particularly drawn to the high-resolution images of what Los Angeles looked like in 1981 (a much different skyline than there is today) and of Marineland. Remember Marineland? This was a good book that contained some interesting interviews and essays and some even more interesting photographs. For all the complaining that I sometimes do, I am very fortunate to live, work, and play in this great state of California. It truly is like no other.
