Such a gorgeous book and makes a perfect gift for children and adults alike. Lavishly illustrated by ten different Irish artists who compliment Rachel Pierce's eloquent telling of the stories of Ireland. This book leaves no stone unturned, covering the history, geography, the myths and the facts - in other words, there is something for everyone. Meticulously researched, the author's her love for her subject sings through on every page. And it works both for reading chronologically and for dipping into. Highly recommend it!

Such a fantastic & fun book; packed full of anecdotes, facts and stories that are all beautifully complimented by the work of ten Irish illustrators.

Un libro para aprender sobre Irlanda y su historia de una manera muy sutil y superficial. Tiene partes muy aburridas y otras muy interesantes, por lo que es un libro muy sin más
