What a stunning debut. It engaged me right from the beginning with the Polish community in Chicago to the thrills to the romance. This book has it all. I cannot wait to read more by Julia. Thank you so much for the copy Julia and congratulations on an incredible debut

This new author draws on subject matter she knows well -- Polish politics stretching from the earliest years of the Cold War to today's Polish-American community -- to write an exciting noir-styled adventure with a tough and brilliant female lead character. Great read!

In her debut novel, “The Tripoint”, Julia Banasikowski Weir captivates her audience with a tale of duty, honor, love and patriotism that kept me wanting more. When Henryk Sosna, a decorated Polish wartime hero passes, leaving everything to his granddaughter, Joanna, it is up to her to decipher the clues of his past to save not only her future but the future of Poland. Banasikowski Weir’s writing had me on the edge of my seat and left me in tears. It also made me want to know more about history and the repercussions of choices made. This novel is 007 meets National Treasure in Poland, in this historical fiction debut.

Good book, got it for Christmas, enjoyed. Polish spy drama to the max 😎
1. Smolensk air disaster in 2010 killed president of Poland and a ton of the top officials. Was officially ruled “pilot error” but initially folks thought it was Russia
2. Lithuania-Poland-Russia border is an important international one
3. Polish community in Chicago is strong and there are so many deep polish roots throughout the US
