I love this boxset for a couple of reasons. One, these three stories must be read in order for you to understand the games so what better way to do it than have all of them in one beautiful package! Two, this word is so twisted and full of #fuckery that you need to have the next story right there ready to be read the second you finish one! I binge read Vlad, Ven & Vas back in January of 2019 when Vas released, and I still cannot wrap my head around readers that had to wait almost 6 months between stories!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaat??, no. Now no one has to wait for anything! #win
I didn’t have to do a deep read for this release because even though it has been a minute since I read them, it all came back to me almost instantaneously when I started and maaaaaaaaaan, I really missed this world! It is darker than dark, ya’ll. That’s the only warning you get. But I mean does one really need a warning if Ker Dukey is one of the authors? *shrug* lol If this is your first time reading the V Games, you need to pay attention or you will find yourself going back to the cast of characters often. It’s okay if you do, there are a lot of people LOL so don’t sweat it.
This world that K&K created and are soon expanding with Mad Men of Moscow is addictive, depraved, all consuming, passionate, raw and gritty and just so intense that you will devour it in no time. I cannot wait for Alyona’s story to finally be here!! GO DO THE THING so you can be ready for the Madmen this December!
I binged this series in a day... like literally so addictive. Vlad and Irina first, a forbidden mafia romance and deliciously dark. Ven and Diana brought together in unforeseen sad circumstance but the passion and attraction between the two is off the charts. Then Vas and Danya. Vas is her night in shining armour and my favourite of the 3 men. This series brought so many twists and turns it will make your head spins. So dark, gritty and passionate its now one of my favourite series of the year for sure.

The V Games by Ker Dukey and K Webster takes dark mafia romance to a whole new twisted, sinister, violent and depraved level in a way that only these two brilliant authors can do. No limits. No control. Pure rage, ecstasy and darkness through and through. One of my darkest mafia romance reads ever. Proceed with caution as the authors will take you to the most shocking , most erotic and most gruesome world. But if you love debauchery and adrenaline rush of dark romance like me, you will love this world.
The V Games is set in Russian Mafia world. There are some powerful and corrupt families who take part in a game of death and sex and only one winner comes out. Around this game, their world of power plays and mind games revolve. The first families are Vasiliev, Vetrov, Volkov and Voskoboynikovs. And they are enemies and allies at the same time.
Vlad is the beginning of the ending as the old generation is slowly getting pushed to shadows and next generation like Vlad Vasiliev takes centre stage. He is ruthless, cunning, beyond redemption and is determined to keep his family on top as always. But every devil has one weakness. And his fiance Diana Volkov's sweet innocent sister Irina is his weakness. The arranged marriage is for their business and reputation and power. But Irina calls to him like a siren and he cannot stop till he ruins her. It was so complex and mindblowingly sexy. It made me uncomfortable, the good kind. My heart was lodged at my throat and the chemistry was on fire. An arrogant and brutal alphal falling for a sweet yet strong queen is my poison and I am fully intoxicated.
Ven was the most difficult story for me to read. I would say it's the most hardcore angsty and dark story among all three. Veniamin Vetrov has always wanted Diana Volkov but not like this. Her father and Vlad has dumped her at their home to punish for her indiscretions and supposed shame she brought to them. Now she is a pawn. A prey. And she has to survive V Games as a fighter. But Diana is no weak woman. She is proud, fierce, strong and resilient. Their lives will be full of secrets, lies, manipulation, tears and heartbreaks. It broke my heart to read all the despicable and vile things but beauty of their love was shining through it. It was well earned happily ever after for the dark king and his dark queen.
Vas was the lightest of the three books but no less explosive and sensual. This story took me to the wrong sides of humanity with Vas Volkov, the bastard Volkov son and Darya, the sex slave of Vlad's father Yuri Vasiliev. Darya has a long, complicated and dark history of abuse and torture but once her true identity is revealed, she finds a chance to a new beginning. And Vas, the Angel of Death was there to protect her. He is merciless and cold hearted and cruel to his enemies but he has a good heart. This story was insanely complex with endless twists and I couldn't breathe till the end. Someone violent and monstrous like Vas found his happily ever after with someone sweet, kind and beautiful like Darya.
Vlad, Ven and Vas are three interconnected stories and along with the dark love stories, this series also chronicles the rise, fall and restructuring of V Games. The best kind of suspense with so much blood, gore, sex and all the dramatic storytelling.
PS If you have not read it yet...do it right now as Madmen of Moscow are coming!
A three-book interconnected mafia romance series featuring Vlad, Ven, and Vas and the women who come to love them.
My favorite of the box set was book one featuring Vlad and Irina. Irina has always carried a flame for Vlad, but Vlad is betrothed to her sister Diana for strategic purposes. Vlad, however, still planning to marry Diana demonstrates almost caveman possessiveness toward Irina, a woman to whom he had no claim. I enjoyed this story as well as the other two books for what I believe was a gritty portrayal of all the double standards and misogyny in the backdrop of mafia / crime dynasties, including human trafficking, gun trade, and drugs. Great side characters, like or hate them, added to the storyline interest, particularly as they overlapped with books 2 and 3. There was a lot of spice and even some unexpected plot twists. The pace perfectly held my interest, not being a slow burn or too fast. I found that even though the quicker closing of the ending of book 1 did not really allow the character development / change to meld, I still enjoyed it.
Book 2 covers Diana and Ven's relationship springing from the events in book 2, likewise book 3's plot line influenced by book 2. Both excellent mafia reads though I enjoyed book 2 for the older love, the unrequited friends to lovers story and book 3 with Vas and Darya, joined by circumstance and broken beginnings. Vas is a misfit, an illegitimate son and bad boy ultimately with warm heart. All three antiheroes turned heroes were characterized by various 'v' adjectives -- vicious, villainous, etc. Overall, great reads.
This book would of easily been a five-star if I knew exactly what “The V Games” were. Because I still didn’t get a concrete definition of what it was throughout the entire book. Maybe it’s because I’m slow. Maybe my kids distracted me from a pivotal point of the book and I forgot to reread the page. I don’t know. Lol.
We have five extremely powerful families whose last names all start with a V. Vasiliev, Vetrov, Volkov, and Voskoboynikov. Fuck yes it gets confusing and I had to constantly go back to the beginning of the book where the cast of characters are written out.
This is the love story of Vlad (another V) Vasiliev and Irina Volkov. There is an arranged marriage between Vlad and Diana who is Irina’s oldest sister. It’s simply another business arrangement because Diana is secretly in love with someone else. Therefore the relationship between Irena and Vlad, as it developed.. is very forbidden. And I’m secret. “She makes me feel free, unburdened, and young. She makes me feel like a man and a boy all in one. I’ve never felt so relaxed around another person before.” “ I’m baring not just just my skin and body, but also my soul.” 🔥h starts as a virgin 🔥rough and kinky sex 🔥no cheating or OW drama 🔥Yes to an HEA for main characters
You kind of have to guess as to what The V Games are.. sounds almost like The Hunter Games? There is human trafficking where girls are being trained to be seductresses but also possibly in the games as well? Or possibly it’s only family that plays in the games. I’m really not sure. But the next book opens up to where The V Games are definitely going to start. So I am looking forward to understanding what exactly the hell is going on with that specific plot. Because Diana disgraced her family by being in love with another man, she brought upon herself a messed up situation. And it looks like the next book is hers so I’m super excited to dive into it!
❌❌❌❌❌❌ Book two: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
“I am Diana Volkkov. My vines are thorny and tangled and never-ending. I’ll suffocate them all. Watch them bleed in my grip. A beautiful, delicate rose on the surface, but a vicious monster underneath.”
Book two, we get to understand more about Diana and the sacrifices she’s made for her sister. Diana ends up going into The V Games. She’s lost her close relationship with her sister. She is undoing secrets, lies, and betrayals from all the V families. She reconnects with the man she’s always adored. Ven Vetrov. “She is beauty and Grace wrapped in vines of chaos. She is my Rose. My Diana. “
Ven has always admired Diana for her strength and wit. When Diana’s engagement to Vlad gets canceled over her betrayal of being with another man, and she’s pushed into the Vetrov home, she begins her training for the V Games and also finds herself talking care of the trafficked girls.
There’s evil that lurks in this home. And Diana becomes the victim of it. ❌Trigger Warning❌ ❌ ❌ If I would’ve known this, I probably would’ve skipped this book personally. There is a scene of forced miscarriage in this book. Diana gets punched in the stomach and thrown down the stairs. She loses her pregnancy.
There’s absolute retaliation. Ven and Diana come together and make plans to change the sick and twisted games these families control. Hopefully as more generations are spawned, we see less evil. This book for me was not my favorite one. There seem to be a few plot holes but it was still quite enjoyable to read.

Book three: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
At the end of book two, we come to the realization that Yuri Vasiliev’s sex slave is possibly his son’s sister… Vlad Vasiliev. … for a hot minute you think that he was raping his own daughter… but no. This isn’t THAT kind of story. With new details coming out, Darya gets a new life away from Yuri. Vlad steps up and promises her a better life. And Vas Volkov, who has taken a keen interest in her well-being becomes her knight in shining armor. Darya has had an interesting life full of hardships. She was a sister of the church. She was gaslighted and manipulated by a dirty rotten priest and another sister of the church. She was molested and whipped and abused.
This book does go back-and-forth from past to present. Giving us Darya’s background and how she came be part of a sex trafficking ring.
I love that the moment Vas saw Darya bruised and cut up with a dog collar on, he wrapped her in his arms and basically never let her go.
“You’re someone,“ I tell her, my voice gruff. I lower my lips to her ear so only she can hear me, I say, “To me, you’re someone. “
There’s a lot of filler of secondary characters in this book. There’s some crazy ass cousins that I am really dying to know more of. I would’ve liked more information on all the other secondary characters because there is a ton of them. I would love more action of the V Games.
But, this was a cute dark romance. I enjoyed this trilogy. Being that this trilogy is older, I don’t know if this trilogy will turn into a series. I’m sort of hoping that it will so we get more characters stories. “The game we play is the one where we continually win each other’s hearts. And we’re both winning.”
Duel POV. Yes to HEA. Epilogue leaves off for a new story for other characters.
The V Games book, contains all 3 books in the series. Heed the warming on the books they are graphic are gripping. The hero's aren't nice guys and there aren't hearts and unicorns. However, if you have read this duo before then you know their style.
That being said the stories are unbelievable. The world that they have crafted is unique and jaw dropping. And they will have you immersed in the stories.
This is a set of three incredible reads by K Web (who is my personal fav) and Ker Dukey. K Web has incredible collabs and this one is no exception. It's all mafia and veryyyyy V-focused. You'll love it!
This boxed set is the perfect way to read all three books that complete The V Games series written by Ker Dukey and K. Webster. I would recommend this series to you to read. I found that my enjoyment increased as the series progressed, and I award this series 4 stars overall. Please note the warning issued by the authors, which is that The V Games series is a dark, crime steamy mafia romance series that might be triggering to some.
Please find my reviews of each individual book. In reading order -
Vlad (3-3.5stars)
Overall, I enjoyed reading Vlad. There is a lot to take in from the word go, especially all the character’s names and their connections, and I was thankful that the authors wrote a who’s who list before the start of the story that I could refer back to when needed.
I feel that Vlad has laid the groundwork for the rest of the series to build on. There is much talk about some V Games and I am excited to see what this entails exactly .
I enjoyed the power play amongst all the Russian families. The fathers are constantly plotting and planning ways to make themselves more powerful often using their children as pawns. I actually loved the ruthless and dominant Vlad. I felt that he and Irina were perfect for each other. They have sizzling chemistry that adds some heat to this story.
It took me a little time to become fully invested in this story. I didn’t find it particularly dark in comparison to other books by these authors that I have read. There are scenes in Vlad that I would expect to find in Mafia stories which may not be to every reader's tastes.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in Ven. I award Vlad 3-3.5 stars.
Ven (4 stars)
Ven is the second book in The V Games and if you haven’t as yet read Vlad then please do, as this is one continuous story even though each book focuses on different leading characters.
This second instalment is much darker than the first in my opinion. There are scenes that I found very difficult to read. Much of the book, as well as highlighting Ven and Diana’s story, draws our attention to the preparation for those V Games that the authors I feel have pleasantly teased us about - which I have been intrigued to learn more about. I’ll be honest and say that what happens added an extra star to my overall rating of this book. I was not left disappointed with those scenes at all!
I cannot decide how I feel about Diana at the moment but I have an inkling that I will come to like her completely her in the end. What she has been through allows me to understand the reasons behind some of her actions, and I do admire the immense strength and determination that she possesses.
What is it about mafia men that makes me fall for them in the end? I must say that some of Ven’s actions tested my sentiments for him. I realise that this is a completely different world to the one I live in, but I’m not sure I could ever totally forgive him for some of the scenes he was involved in.
After everything that has happened in this book, I have no clue as to what will happen next, and I cannot wait to find out. I’m hoping that the authors will close this series with a book that ties up all the loose ends and is filled with many exciting scenes that I enjoy reading.
Vas (4.5 stars)
I found that my enjoyment of reading The V Games by Ker Dukey and K. Webster increased as the series progressed. This third and final book had me gripped and entertained from start to finish – which I loved. Vas is definitely my favourite book in the series.
There are lots of twists and turns throughout this instalment which made it a real page-turner. I received some answers to the questions I had from the previous two books but I do still have a couple that remain, and I’d love for that incredible epilogue to be continued. I have been left wondering if the authors have any plans for more books connecting to this series to be released or they may even already be published – I shall have to check that out. I loved the pace of Vas and Darya’s story; I honestly didn’t want to put my kindle down. I found Vas to be my favourite leading male and that is probably due to his personality. Darya’s journey throughout is quite the read and I loved how it progressed.
I have enjoyed getting to know the characters and I have especially loved the strong women throughout this series. As with the previous two books there are some scenes in Vas that I found difficult to read, but they are expected knowing that this is a dark mafia series. My grumble is that I wish that there weren’t so many characters with names beginning with the letter V. I appreciated having a list of who’s who to refer to, but the flow of my reading was halted by having to carefully consider or check the list to determine the essential details regarding the character involved in a particular scene - until I got to really know them that is. I do understand why the authors have done this though.
This series must be read in the order that the books have been published as the storylines continue throughout. Overall, I have enjoyed reading The V Games, this final book being my favourite as previously mentioned. Hopefully this isn’t the last we see of these Russian families, and I’d love more scenes involving the actual Games. I award Vas 4.5 stars.
4.5 Vicious Stars This series is about a dark and extremely violent world of Russian mafia “ruling” families. And, it’s also about their bloody, darkly thrilling V Games! Vicious and violent indeed! Amongst all that there’s romance and love.. dark, taboo and crazy hot love! Not your stereotypical, but it’s there I assure you. It’s definitely shocking, sexy, dirty, depraved and I thought delicious! It’s very exciting, lots of twisted turns! It’s extremely sexy and naughty. These authors together are masters of making you squeamish and titillated at the same time. LOVE! -The first book (Vlad) took awhile for me to get everyone’s name, family, etc. placed correctly. There’s a lot of characters so it was hard on my bad memory. (The amount of characters and names to remember took away from my enjoyment a bit) Once I got it figured out and went with it I was all in! Vlad is perhaps the most vicious of the men. His “love” story has an unexpected twist that I loved. -Ven and his love story has a woman that made it very appealing to me. I love her story and theirs together. I was a sucker for this couple. Great chemistry with them! The V Games are finally shown not just alluded to! Wowza! Hold on to your seat! It’s diabolical, dark and gruesome! I LOVED IT! (Take the trigger warnings seriously) -Vas is just as strong as the other men, but he has more of an emotional side that makes him seem.. kinder, sweeter. Within reason of course! This is still a brutal world! I loved his story, his romance and the wonderful and wild cast of characters! There’s so much going on in these books and series! It’s a must read for lovers of dark romance! Such an original story/series!
The V Games collection is a compilation of 3 works by authors Ker Dukey and K Webster, Vlad, Ven, and Vas. They are each a standalone with their own couple, but there’s an overarching story arc that runs through all three.
Hang on super tight for this extremely dark, smexy, and violent ride! I FLOVED this series! The stories are just fabulous with tons of political intrigue and machinations. There are twists and turns make you feel like you’re never quite sure where things are going - all culminating with a bang. While complementary, the stories are distinctly different with different types of alpha anti-heroes, but all with one obsession - their women! Vlad was definitely the hardest/most intense in the group, Vas was the most considerate and laid back, and Ven fell somewhere in the middle. Like the men, the heroines all have distinctly different personalities and ways to deal with their men as well as their lot in life. Irina is sweet - but not a much a she appeared, Diana the queen of hard work and determination, and Darya the sweetest in the lot. They were all exactly who their men needed, both to temper them and make them stronger. Really a fantastic read - if you like dark and gritty you won’t be disappointed!
The V Games by Ker Dukey and K. Webster. This is a box set that has books 1-3 in the V Games Series. This box set has 678 pages that has VLAD, VEN and VAS mafia stories. This is a great set if like me you are fans of these two authors but it is also a great way to discover them too. I do recommend this box set.
Honestly I’ll keep this short and simple. Each book would get 10 stars if possible. I though that couple was my favorite until I started the next book. I don’t know who my favorite is anymore! I can’t believe I waited so long to read this series. I should be ashamed of myself!! 🥺😭🥺😭 Don’t hesitate to head this series, just pick it up and start. You will not regret it!! I can’t wait for Madmen of Moscow!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Vicious. Villainous. Victorious. Vlad. Ven. Vas. Power comes form money and fear and the men of the V Games have both in abundance. They rule with an iron fist and do it well. Their empires are built on blood and brutality and no one is immune to their wrath... or so they thought. When love intervenes on their path to the top, it alters everything. The rules have changed. Let the games begin.
I have to tell you how lucky you are. Your getting the three books in this series in one book. The V Games!! I read these when they first came out one at a time and then I read them again in the boxset and fell even more in love with them. Trust me if you like your romances on the dark side then you are going to love these and will not want to miss them.
Vlad Vlad is the story of many Russian families all fighting for the top spot. A right of passage and where only the strong survive is the V Games. The games that Vlad's father invented some years ago that are fight to the death matches. Their's to is a world where the daughters are used as pawns to marry the boys of the other family to gain more strength. However Diane and Irina's father only had daughters and he raised them to believe they could pick their husband and run the family businesses. However they are both about to learn he never meant a word of it and he promises his oldest to Diana who insists on bringing her sister Irina with her to Vlad's house. Diana doesn't realize that Irina has always always had a thing for Vlad and recently Vlad has been drawn to her more and more. He is determined to make the little virgin stay that way for the rest of her life too. Because if he can not have her no one else can.
This book will draw you in and not let go and have you guessing with all the twist and turns in this book. I have my favorite characters and I will be honest and say that as vicious and cruel as Vlad is I found myself really liking him. He has this soft spot for Irina and it makes him realize that she brings out the real man that he knows he should have been if not for his father and his loyalty to his family. There is a lot that goes on in this book and it sets up the next book nicely. This is one twisted tale that I fell so in love with.
Ven Ven is the second book in the V Games Series from Ker Dukey and K Webster. I really suggest that you read Vlad first though. Things from that book carry over into Ven and your going to be scratching your head to figure it all out when it's all experienced first hand in Vlad.
The Vetrov name comes with expectation. My role in this world is simple: do as Father asks and live my life how he planned it. My future is already written: run the empire. Old Values. Old Rule. Old Money. Until her. Everything I do lacks purpose. Everything I do is empty. Women. Money. Power. It meant nothing. Until her. When the Volkov rose showed up at my home a disgraced package, hand-delivered by a Vasiliev prince, I began paving my own path. I vowed to make her bloom once more. She consumed me. Her. Her. Her. But you can't love a rose and expect not to be damaged by her thorns. She cut me too deep. And I bled out. My soul fled. All that's left is a cold, calculating monster. I am Veniamin. Volcanic. Victorious. Valiant. Vetrov. When you enter my world to play games, prepare to lose. In the end, I always find the thorn in my side and I pluck it right out.
Holy cow what a thrilling ride this book was. I am telling you now to be prepared to not put this book down. You are going to love every single second of it. Ven picks up where Vlad left off...well kind of. At the end of Vlad you got to see that Diana was going to go into the V games. Now you get the back story of how she got there and why. As you know she was kicked by Vlad the man she was suppose to marry after he discovered that she was sleeping with her bodyguard and he killed him. Now he has thrown her out and claimed her sister. But Diana being the super strong character and woman that she is is not going to take this laying down. She takes her time to grieve, the reasons for what were going on are explained and she comes back stronger. She and Ven have always had a thing for each other since they were teenagers. Now they have their chance but all is not as it seems and things explode. This book is also told from both of their points of view. It will have you reading as fast as you can and at times shocked at what it happening. I loved Ven and Diana both as individual characters and together. Buckle up and enjoy!!! Holy cow what a book and the epilogue will have you wanting the next book Vas in your hands as fast as you can get it. I for one can't wait to find out what goes on in his story as we were left with some major revelations. If your a fan of dark romances you do not want to miss Ven!!!
Vas I am so excited for Vas's story. Vlad and Ven were such good books and Vas has been a bit of a mystery for me. I couldn't wait to get to know him better. I loved this story so much and devored it in one sitting. This book is dark and intense and breathtaking. He is a man that has long not known where he comes from and now that he does he craves the power that should come along with his name. He didn't grow up with the luxuries in life like his sisters did. He didn't have his birthright. What he did have was a mother that raised him the best she could and loved him enough for both parents. He didn't have to deal with the upbringing of such a cuel father and the things he does or is involved in. Now that she is gone he is just drifiting until he sees Darya. These two have a connection from the get go but she belonged to another as a slave that was bought. However she too is in to for finding out that she has a family she never knew about and her life is turned upside done. Vas though becomes her savior. Her protector. Her everything. These to have some smoking hot chemistry. Along with some serious blood shed, sexy moments and huge and I do mean huge surprises. I was left reeling and loved this book so much. It is a must read for lovers of dark romances. Buckle up. Your in for one amazing ride.
These two writing together is dark story gold for this dark & twisty soul, so I'll always make sure I watch out for any collaboration, so I'm super excited for the next book about to be released. It's been a while since I read the stories so I had forgotten that the Madmen of Moscow was off of this series. Oh, and y'all don't know how lucky you are to get all three stories in one place, I had to wait impatiently LOL!
Vlad: Vlad is a very intense, edge of your seat, dark story that is so addictive, I couldn't put it down until every last word was inhaled. The dynamic duo that makes up K. Webster & Ker Dukey definitely meshed perfectly together, as there was not one instance with a break in the story to show that there were more than one author writing. Vlad is a Vasiliev, which is a powerful family who rules with an iron fist, so no insult goes unpunished. He's the eldest, and in order to keep them the top family, everything he does must have purpose, even who he marries. And he's to marry the oldest Volkov, but the problem becomes that he craves the younger sister, Irina. The bigger problem becomes that he moves both his fiancé, and her younger sister into his house. The dark & twisty story kept the colorful metaphors flying out of my mouth throughout every page. I had a complicated relationship with Vlad, on one hand, he was super yummy & I loved him, but on the other, I wanted to junk punch him over & over again for many of his actions & hated him. Add in so many vicious & shady supporting cast, I was on edge with whatever they may or may not pull the whole time. So yeah, I totally loved this crazy intense story so much, as it fed the dark & twisty beast that I keep locked up inside a ton! I'm ready for the next book, and pray that Diana gets spectacular revenge!
Ven: This review is going to be hard to write, because I don't want to give away any of the plot. I do suggest everyone read Vlad first, in order to fully understand the events or aftermath if you will, with Ven. Now, I've always been dark & twisty deep down, but even for me, there were some moments that this story was almost too much for me, so I just want to warn readers beforehand, as it's not for the faint of heart. These two authors know how to mesh perfectly together to write one hell of a dark story that kept my attention, even through things that had me putting it down for a minute or two. And those crazy twists & turns around every corner, so my f-bombs were everywhere, not to mention my colorful metaphors when name calling came into play. But let's talk about Diana, oh Diana, how I fell in love with her in this book. Her strength throughout everything could have taken down all the families in my opinion. What they did to her, she should have for real. I wasn't a big fan of hers in the first book, but the dynamic duo changed my outlook, and I found myself cheering for the disgraced Volkov rose rising from the ashes that the men tried to leave her in a pile of when they dumped her off in humiliation, to a bad a** Queen. And while she had a thing for Ven, and he for her, she didn't need him to make her stronger. (And that's all I'll say about him, because I was conflicted when it came to him.) So how did she end it? You will just have to read it for yourselves. I know this review may not make sense, but it's all I've got since I don't want to talk about the plot.
Vas: He was the dark horse of this series, and I wasn't sure what to think until we got his story. There's no doubt that he didn't have what he should have, but at least he had a mother who loved him so much. He's fond of his sisters, and he's very brave because he likes to walk on the wild side LOL! However, the moment he came face to face with Darya, a sex slave, he is hooked, and he'll do anything to keep her safe. Luckily, as he's training the next fighter for one of his brother-in-laws, he's able to take her with him since there are certain things about Darya that have come to light. This is another edge of my seat story with the twists coming in hot, and danger around every corner that I couldn't get enough of. AND I'm super excited about the Madmen of Moscow coming after the cliffhanger tease!
So buckle the hell up & hit those one click buttons for a dark & twisty ride! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Welcome to the V Games...it's dark and twisted and everything I love about diving into and reading this taboo trope.
Having all three books all in one collection so I could binge them was fantastic!! All three stories were epic and I was able to get my fix all at once, as each story flowed right into the next and built upon the other. I can't imagine reading them as standalones because each story is truly interconnected and relies on the other.
The collection begins with Vlad. His family, Vasiliev, is one of the founding, First Families, that is bound by old rules like arranged marriages, gentleman agreements bound by handshakes and if broken you better be willing to die. Yeah, Vlad is also ruthless or should I say vicious and vindictive if you cross him.
Diana Volkov is also part of a First Family, but as a woman she is looked at as nothing more than a bargaining chip. She may be ruthless in her own way, but arranged to marry Vlad, she may never be more than a pretty trophy wife...but it's not Diana that truly catches Vlad's eye in this marriage agreement, it's her sister Irina. It's a good thing that Diana is always so busy running her own business it leaves plenty of time to distraction and Irina open for Vlad to plunder.
Oh...there are twists and turns and while there isn't a lot to learn about the actual V Games in Vlad's book, there is no escaping them in the next two.
Ven Vetrov has been in love with Diana Volkov for as long as he can remember, but it's never been the right time to claim her. When circumstances literally throw her at his feet, he knows this is the time to finally tell her how he feels, but a deep and twisted game is at work and he may lose her before he really ever has her.
Welcome to the Vetrov family in Ven. His family is vile and sometimes Ven doesn't seem to fit the mold of the Vetrov name, don't let his affection fool you.
Diana is a formital queen in this dark kingdom. She's been friends with everyone living in this world since she grew up with all of these men, but can she really come out of everything she's been through and be a stronger version of herself? Can she reclaim everything or rebuild something new with the man who could be a better future than she ever dreamed?
Ven is a deeper look at the V Games. I loved this twisted place where champions duke it out with no apologies, but also if they live leave with huge spoils and forever nightmares. It was even better building upon Vlad's book and made me salvate for what was coming next in Vas.
With each book building upon the next, Vas, was the dark horse within the family and the unknown factor overall. He is a half sibling to Diana and Irina, only claiming his birthright upon reaching adulthood, which his father jumped all over since he'd only had daughters until Vas appeared. While Vas may not have grown up in the vicious cutthroat world like his sisters, he knows how to play dirty fighting for every scrap in the underground world. His heart may not be quite so hardened, but his fists are like steel.
Vas feels an instant connection to a slave girl held captive in the Vasiliev household. Darya is a special light having grown up in a convent until she was taken to be a mule used during the games. Vlad's father keeps her for his own, but a shocking revelation changes everything and it doesn't take long for Vas to take her under his wing.
Their story is perhaps the sweetest among the dark tales. Two tarnished souls who connect through a deep unspoken likeness. When the world around them is full of death, destruction, and depravity, they find the light within each other to pull each other out of the darkness.
What I also loved about Vas' story is traveling to Moscow and training a new champion for the V Games. The champion choice isn't a likely one, but it offers up great levity and insight into who Vas is and it's an insight that shows Vas is very different from the other men in this series, but at the same time just as dedicated and family oriented too.
Each book is twisted together and shouldn't be read as a standalone. Enjoy this dark collection while you can.
I am blown away every time I pick up a book by these authors! 🔥The V Game's is one of my favorite series co-written by Ker Dukey and K. Webster.❤ V Games series is the story a many Russian families all fighting for the top spot. A right of passage and where only the strong survive is the V Games. The books are full of arranged marriages, and the women in each family are only seen as possessions to be bartered with, no smarter than any man.
VLAD is a thrilling, heart-stopping, dark start to the V Games series! Vlad and Irina, live in a cunning and manipulative world where power is a game and everyone is a pawn. Marriages are arranged as strategic moves and love doesn't exist. Vlad is arranged to be married to Irina's sister to strengthen the families, but it's sweet and innocent Irina that he burns for. From stolen moments that lead to an intoxicating and addictive passion between the two, Vlad isn't willing to give her up and Irina doesn't want to let go. But these two had to defy all sorts of odds to be together. The consent between these two is questionable, but the scenes are very erotic.
This book so full of twists, turns, lying, backstabbing, deception, corruption, basically everything and anything that grips you. The story definitely did not end how I expected, and I wouldn't say that it ends in a cliffhanger but sets you up nicely for the next book in the series which is VEN'S book.
I loved the first book but must confess loved this couple even more. Ven has a dark side but such passion and longing for Diana, its breathtaking. Ven and Diana have a bond that although is rocked to its core repeatedly seems to somehow survive. Ven is an unflinchingly villainous Mafia prince but his heart is Diana. Diana is the dethroned Mafia princess who has been outcast and labeled but will not allow herself to be crushed. She rose up and put all those old world players in their place and showed them who is Queen!
This story is filled with secrets, seduction, deceit and murder and is the type of book that’s best read going in as blind as possible to give the shocking elements the biggest impact on the reader. At the end of the book we’re given a taste of what’s in store in book three and this is the story of VAS.
Vas Volkov is the half-brother of Irina and Diana Volkov, protagonist of the previous books. He loses his mother at 16 and since then he has become famous in the world of underground fights. Only recently discovered as having their father’s blood, Vas quickly found his place in this family and all its drama. Darya is a servant in the Vasiliev mansion, mistreated by her Master until Vas takes her under his wing. He loves Darya. As for Darya that poor girl goes through some awful things. Vas and Darya are complete opposites and yet have so much in common. They are two outsiders with previously unknown identities that once revealed makes them integral members of the first families.
This book was a fantastic ending to the series, adored sweet Darya and the protective Vas. A lot of questions from previous books were answered in Vas. Although the V Games have come to an end I feel it is just the beginning for the Madmen of Moscow!
V Games series has everything. It's complex, intense, and super sexy. There's epic violence, and strong sexual content throughout. The characters in this stories are all very well planned out. Even secondary roles don’t feel lacking and are given individual personalities that differentiate them. I loved seeing inside their minds and how dirty and cunning each one can be. With plenty of darkness, and twisted moments, it's everything I wanted! As always this intricate, and well thought out plot is written wonderfully.
This series is brutal, violent and dark. It contains scenes of rape and torture, death and pain but the world in which these characters live is ruled by one law - survival of the fittest. It’s seductive and feral, powerful and dangerous. Welcome to the V games, enter if you dare!
Highly recommend this great series!
5 bloody stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

💫💫💞Review Post💞💫💫 Vlad - The V Game @kerdukey @authorkwebster @givemebookspr 🌟Book 1 Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Story 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Steamy Vile Vicious Villainous Vasiliev 🩸The First Families of the Russian Mafia are powerful. And men rule Supreme, much to the Volkov sisters, Diana and Irina, displeasure. They are First Family but they were always intended to marry and produce heirs for their husband their father chooses. And their family company would eventually be absorbed by their husband, or Diana's. Since Diana was going to marry the best heir, the heir to the Vasiliev family. 🩸Vlad Vasiliev always knew what life would entail. He was also aware he would probably marry Diana Volkov when his father instructed. No matter if her little sister intrigued him. He always felt protective of her, and liked to watch her. 🩸Irina was always Diana's shadow. She followed her and was never noticed. When Diana accepted the proposal from Vlad she arranged Irina to go with her. Fortuitous since daddy Volkov found himself a heir in his illegitimate son Vas. But to protect her sister's secrets Irina makes it her mission to distract Vlad. Which isn't a hardship cuz Irina has always been attracted to Vlad. Can Irina and Vlad make what they want happen? 🩸Vicious back stabing. Dangerous families. And we haven't even talked about what The V Games are really like. We don't find that out until book 2 really. But this was very engaging couple of months leading to the set up of book 2. I loved this!
💫💫💞Review Post 💞💫💫 Ven - The V Games @kerdukey @authorkwebster @givemebookspr 🌟Book 2 Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Story 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Steamy Volcanic Victorious Valiant Vetrov 🗡So events with Diana in Vlad pick up right after Vlad drops her at the Vetrov household. You have to read Vlad, but the authors give a fantastic recap if you skip it. But I think it's essential. 🗡So Ven the oldest of the heirs, and the oldest Vetrov heir has always had a thing for Diana. Even tho he knew Diana was meant for Vlad. Diana secretly had the same feelings for Ven but had to make choices. One of those choices was to protect Irina her little sister from someone. 🗡So things go down! Ven and Diana are happy for a hot second. Then daddy Vetrov messes everything up. And then Diana is called to fight in The V Games. 🗡The V Games are brutal. Ven had no idea that Diana was being forced to participate in the V Games cuz he was reeling after the events of daddy Vetrov messing things up with Diana. 🗡I love Diana in this book. She's freaking brutal beast herself. Ven is pretty amazing too. He's definitely a dark King fit to rule at his Dark Queen's side. 🗡There is a lot of history in this story. And a lot of factors involved. This one is probably my favorite in the series and the one I read the fastest. So good!
💫💫💞Review Post💞💫💫 Vas - The V Games @kerdukey @authorkwebster @givemebookspr ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Story 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Steamy 🌟Book 3 Review 👑You literally can't read this without reading the first 2 books in The V Games series. 👑This one is sweeter, more explosive, and the secrets are all out. Vas and Darya are so sweet. Vlad is reeling after finding out he has another sister. 👑Darya is my least favorite but that is more due to her religious upbringing that anything. But poor girl was abused most of her life. 👑Vas is just so different. Not surprising since he was raised as an outsider of this world. Adjacent but outside. 👑Bravo to the authors for the explosive secrets revealed. And daddy Volkov good job!
These talented author’s have done an outstanding job in weaving these stories, and this is an amazing boxset. This boxset comprises of the following novels: - #1 Vlad This is the 1st book in this boxset and is Vlad and Irina’s story. Vlad’s story is a great beginning to a new series, and he is ruthless, vicious, and vindictive, and the romance between him and Irina is forbidden. Vlad is supposed to have an arranged marriage with Diana, who is Irina’s sister, but she is not the one he has his eye on. Their story is filled with passion, and off charts chemistry. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, and intense and is an emotional roller coaster throughout. #2 Ven This is the 2nd book in this intriguing series and is Ven and Diana’s story. Ven has been in love with Diana for some time, but he knows she is forbidden as she is supposed to enter an arranged marriage with his brother Vlad. Diana is supposed to marry a man that is only interested in her sister, and she emersises herself in her career to take her mind off things, but can she ignore the intense attraction she has with Ven? When circumstances change Ven has his chance to get Diana. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, and all-consuming, and I was completed hooked throughout. #3 Vas This is the 3rd book in this phenomenal series, and is a dark, gripping, intense and thrilling read. Vas is from a humble background and has had to work hard to earn his rightful place in the family. Darya has led a sheltered life and was brought up in a convent. This story had been told in dual POV’s and is fast paced and over a time span. This is the perfect ending for this brilliant series. This is a well written flawless story, which is filled dark, raw, gritty, and with drama, secrets, humor, violence, depravity, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented duo of authors’, whose work I highly recommend for all. This is an awesome boxset which is fast paced, dark, raw, gritty, and filled with passion, suspense, twists, and love, which all leads to a steamy and all-consuming addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented duo of authors’ whose work I highly recommend.
The V Games:A Dark Mafia Romance Series by Ker Dukey and K Webster. When I saw these two authors were putting these books out as one, I was over the moon. I had read them when they first came out and I loved each book. So yes I jumped at the chance to reread the books especially since I could read then back to back, all in one. Yippee!!! Three powerful First Families who not only run the illegal and legal businesses in Russia but participate in a game where sex, depravity and death are the point. The top family and first book is Vlad. He is as ruthless and deadly as his father. Betrayal is the stapel for book 1but we see a softer side of him when it comes to Irina. Unfortunately he is to wed her older sister. Two alphas are a recipe for a disaster but for good measure add in a secret and a manipulative sister. Sit back and watch the fireworks. Ven is the eldest son of the next family of the 3. He won the very first V Games. In this book we see dynamics and issues between him, his dad, Diana and his duty to the family. Picking up from book 1, I was in hook line and sinker as the secrets, betrayal and conniving between the families continues. However Diana is the cat's meow of this story. A strong woman who is determined to not allow the old ways to take her down. Vas is the illegitimate son of the 3rd family in the pecking order. Determined to protect his half sister and prove himself, he will not let those who look down on him see him sweat. As the concluding story there is more up these two author's sleeve and they didn't disappoint. From the beginning to the end I was pulled in and wasn't let go till the end. Oh and some of the hottest sex I have read. I was moist quite often. The men are sexy as sin, built like brick houses and definitely know how to please a woman. Despite all of the betrayal, violence and killing this story was one of finding love and their place out of the shadows of their fathers. Still a 5 star read. So glad I had an opportunity to reread this series.
Vlad is Delicious & deviously dark. I don’t usually read Russian mafia but the description of the V Games reeled me in;)
Vlad is a force to reckon with but he has a soft spot for one person. The only person who sees his light. His sun💕
Destined to always be second Irina never thought that she could have what her heart has always wanted. Circumstances put her & Vlad under the same roof and there is no stopping what was meant to be.
Fave quote: My eyes track over the image staring back at me. It’s me. The sun lighting my face. There are colors inside me I’ve never seen before all captured in the version of me she must see. The brush strokes are delicate and precise. There’s a smile on my lips as I peek up through my lashes. It’s the expression I must have when I’m looking at her before devouring her. It’s the me I always want to be. “It’s beautiful, solntce moyo.” “You’re beautiful, moye luna.”—seriously?! How sweet is that?? Their hearts see what no other sees.
~~~~~~
We definitely get to see the dark, really dark side of the V Games in Ven. Amongst all of the depravity Diana finds her strength and does what she needs to do to find her peace.
After a terrible loss that both Ven & Diana experience Ven goes down a dark path. Once he is faced with possibly even more loss he fights for what he truly wants for his life.
Fave quote: …It was fated long before our fathers decided shit. We made that decision. Maybe it was a silent one, but a decision nonetheless. The moment you kissed me in that hall when you were sixteen, we’ve been linked. I knew it, and I waited until you were ready.” “I’ll never be ready,” she chokes out. “You will,” I growl, and nip at her plump bottom lip. “And when I think you’re ready, I’ll be there for you.”—-with all of the devastation & loss Ven & Diana still fight to be together. Love can conquer the darkest of people.
Vlad is the first book in the boxed set of The V Games series. I had wanted to read each of these books when they first came out but I had too many books to read at that time. So when the boxset was coming out I thought that this is the time to read it now that the story is complete. Well it is kind of complete but there is a spinoff. You can bet I will be reading it!
This story is a little complicated with all the families involved so a “Cast of Characters'' is given) Thank you Ker Dukey and K Webster! It is a help for who’s who!
Vlad is the first book and is Vlad Vasiliev (of the same name) and Irina Volkov’s story. It got off to a good start and I couldn’t put this book down. A lot of illegal stuff happens. Read the warnings and know “Vile. Vicious. Villainous. Vasiliev.” happens!
Women are meant to be used in the family as advantages for the families. Marriage, babies etc.
Book two is Veniamin “Ven” and Diana Volkov’s story. This story is Volcanic. Victorious. Valiant. Vetrov. All things start with “V”. Another great book! It’s dark but then this whole book is dark. None of the fathers are nice men, they are even more evil than the sons.
And the third book is Vas Volkov and Darya (a girl kept in the basement, turns out to be a Vasiliev). I love how each of these books start off with V’s. This time the book for Vas starts off with “Vocal. Voracious, Vindictive. Volkov.”
Here is my recommendation to the reader! If you love Dark Romances about the Russian Mafia then this is a must read! Simply said, I loved reading this boxset! And, there is more!
Now I can’t wait for The Madmen of Moscow! Coming in December but that won’t be soon enough! Oh well, I guess I will have to wait!
Irina isn’t happy about her father’s legacy. Vlad is not someone you want to cross. Their families believe in having things arranged to be advantageous. You cannot deny the connection that develops but it’s not a simple one. This is where you learn why this is would be considered a dark tale.
Ven
Vika is a woman who reminds me of the Tasmanian Devil (yes, the cartoon version). She’s looking to chew you up and spit you out once she’s done. Ven has a thorn in his side but what would happen if he took it out. He’s also given a task to perform. Diana is having to pay for the sins that you will learn about in the first book. She will give you a light bulb moment to something that also develops in Vlad’s story.
The Epilogue that comes at the true end is just a set up for what has yet to happen. If you’ve enjoyed both Vlad and Ven then you will want to keep your eye out for Vas. After all, you’ve come this far so how could you not. But then you realize your adventure isn’t over yet, so make sure to keep going because you will soon see that Vas indeed comes next.
Vas
Vas is a man who is so sick of things. Vika continues her ways. I'd say she was like a running gag but there's nothing funny about her. The authors surprised me with Darya. She's also appeared before and I thought she would be a secondary character - surprise. She also seems the most vulnerable besides when we first meet Irina. But the ending this time left me up in the air and wondering if it is actually another story's beginning.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
This book is very dark and covers some themes that readers may find distressing, their are trigger warnings for this book. I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to like this book or not, as I normally prefer a more relatable story, but I did enjoy it and didn't want to put it down. I loved how the characters were written and the way that the author's covered everything. It is great when you get to read multiple characters POV. The books all intertwined with each other well and all the questions I had were answered by the end. I could not pick a book that I liked the most out of the series, I thought they were all good and well detailed. My heart was racing throughout, especially during book two, Ven’s story.
I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for something a bit more exciting, it is a dark and dangerous love story for Vlad, Ven and Vas.
I loved this series. I want to start by saying that. The characters were relatable, complex, and loveable. Character development is HUGE for me, and these authors knocked their characters out of the park.
Spicy, sexy scenes, bad boys, vindictive Fathers who need to be replaced, a Hunger Games style event that the characters have to survive, a captivating plot with twists….this book had it all for me. I loved how it was set in Russia as well, it just added another depth for me.
4/5 ⭐️ for me because I felt like it took a little too long for the h and H to come together in the first book, and I had to warm up to Ven in the second book, and the 3rd book felt like it wasn’t long enough.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed The V Games and would recommend it!
Genius! This series is made for reading the 3 books in uninterrupted seamless goodness!
These 2 Queens of darkness have done it again with this impressive boxset featuring Vlad, Ven and Vas’ story !!
This is not your typical Russian mafia story! Oh no...it's much more.
A complex, gritty story of family devotion and betrayal. What are you willing to do out of desperation and love. Raw, brutal and sinfully crude this book was a real page turner.
This read was one of those stories that had me dropping my jaw with WTF moments.
In a dark, kinky, and violent world full of vile and vicious men it was refreshing to see badass female heroines who gave as good as they took.
We really don't found out what the "games" or secrets are until the end, which makes this boxset even more enjoyable! 4.5 stars!
This co-write was fantastic! Three captivating V Games stories all in one book. I always get excited about co-writes, and even better there’s more than one story to binge read.
Vlad, Ven and Vas’ stories were packed with drama, action, scandal and steamy moments that will melt your kindle. Not for the faint hearted but I loved every minute.
As I think I’ve said before, these two authors are amazing writing by themselves, but together they’ve taken things to a whole new level of awesomeness.
I do not know what to say about this book that can do it justice. These two ladies have given their readers one heck of a mafia story, unlike any I have read before!!! I am absolutely blown away and totally enthralled by this book. I love a good mafia romance, but these authors have completely outdone themselves. While, I love each author’s individual work, these two together are a force to be reckoned with and this story will have you wanting more from the two of them. If you love a great mafia romance, this one will definitely exceed your expectations!
