They say love makes you do stupid things... I tend to agree.
I finally escaped Cain’s imprisonment, only to discover my mate is gone. My brothers allowed her to venture into Hell in search of me and now she’s trapped. Sure, Jophiel knew the risks Hell poses for angels, but we all do crazy things for the ones we love.
Now it’s up to me to return to Hell and rescue her from the prison I just escaped. If I can reach her before her wings turn black, she can still come home. If I’m too late, then even God won’t be able to save her soul.
I won’t let that happen. I can’t let that happen. I’ll save my omega, even if it means facing perdition.
Just hold on Jophiel, I’m coming for you.
Trapped Under is a somewhat dark PNR omegaverse featuring one sweet as sin omega and six righteous alphas. ♥ Reverse harem featuring the seven archangels ★ Action packed ♥ Fated mates ★ An archangel on the verge of falling ♥ Redemption ★ Reincarnation ♥ Demons and Angels ★ Each book in the series features a new set of characters and has a HEA
USA Today bestselling author, D.E. Chapman is a fantasy novel addict that reads them as much as she writes them, often pretending to be her characters. After all, life is infinitely more exciting with magic and dragons. She hopes to one day write a book so fantastical that it creates a portal to another world. But beware, not all she writes is sunshine and happy endings. There are darker stories hiding within the depths of her mind, filled with mature content and twisted themes, so tread with caution!
Trapped Under is the 2nd book in this series and if youve read Dragged Under (the first book) then you will recognize some of the characters from that book popping up in this book. I love it when books do that and crossover characters pop up in different books.
Angels and mates Wisdom - Uriel and Patience - Jophiel have been trapped in hell (quite literally!!) for a long time. Until Uriel manages to escape but with that brings up secrets, lies and betrayal when he has to rescue Jophiel. Only to rely on Angels - Remiel, Gabriel, Raphael, Azrael and Michael who are not only Jophiel's mates too but part of the problem. Action packed, fast paced with plenty of steamy scenarios. A cracking read
After meeting Uriel in "Dragged Under," I don't know about you but I sure as heck wanted to know more about him and how he ended up in hell (literally). How an angel ends up on the wrong side of the tracks has to be a story worth telling.
It's not all rainbows and blue skies for this angel. Though he may have once known kindness and patience, centuries of torture have hardened his heart. Now all he wants is to return home to his mate. Little does he know that things are not the way they were when he left.
This story is more about forgiveness and fighting for the future after feeling broken for so long. For angels, these characters are flawed and full of angst. Each one of them has "sins" to overcome and the weight that comes along with them.
I felt like this story was harder to read for me because of all that Uriel and Jophiel went through in the name of love and all they lost for it. Betrayal, loneliness, brokenness - it's all there any it weighs heavy not only on Uriel's shoulders, but those of his brother angels. Not knowing the why's behind their actions lights the fire of ignition within me, but by the end of the book in able to find some peace. Is it my favorite so far? No, I still love the story of the Sins begin good in "Dragged Under", but I do love how the author is playing with the dichotomy of what good and evil really means. If there are more in this series, I will read them because this author is always a must read for me.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
At first, I felt kind of lost because I felt like I should know the characters but then I don't and it just really threw me off. I mean, I know each book in the series focus on a different group but I felt really lost, LOL. Anyway, once I got my brain to accept it, I really got into it. I don't have much knowledge on biblical settings but I found it really interesting and I liked how the author weaved it into this series. The book is a wonderful addition to the series and I cannot wait for the next one in the series.
This book has it all angels and demons, adventure and love. What can you say when you have seven angels awaiting you. It's actionn packed and the characters come to life when you read this book. I can't figure out why they let her go back to h@ll. She is trapped there now. I must save her because if I don't not even the almighty can free her. I would recommend that you read the first two books first.
I've been waiting for this one and I read it one sitting when I finally got my hands on it. It's an RH Omegaverse take on Angels and Demons and it has a lot of heat. It's not overly dark, but it's not a sweet Omegaverse story either. There is a lot of action and adventure, all the steam you could desire, and the emotions run high. You don't have to read Dragged Under before reading this one, but I do recommend it.
I read the first in this series and fell in love. The second one was just as good and loved the characters just as much and the first and I loved the cross over and blooming relationship between the them! Can’t wait for the third book because I love this series.
What a fantastic book. This series is amazing, and I would recommend the author to anyone who enjoys this style of romance, I am looking forward to the next book and am positive it will meet the same expectations as the rest have...
Even though the seven sins are more my thang, I loved this addition to book 1, we see what happens to Uriel and his 6 virtues, why didn't they save him? Or tried to? Did they try?
Loved book 1, and adore book 2, definitely intrigued for book 3.
I loved Uriel and Jophiels relationship sooo much. It made me frustrated that the other angels just gave up and didn’t fight for her and just kind of left her AND left Uriel in Hell. Overall I really liked this book and I can’t wait to read the third one! 4⭐️
I think this one was not as good as the first book in the series, but still worth reading. Looking forward to the third book to see how everything concludes.
