Little Spotted Calf is a great book to introduce farm animals to young kids. It shows a calf trying to find her mother. When asking each animal if they're her mother, they reply with the typical noise that animal would make. For example, the sheep "baa's." This can help students become accustomed to the different types of animals found on a farm and the noises they make.
