The Little Book of Woke Jokes

Rate this book
Are you tired of your uncle's racist jokes at Thanksgiving? Of seemingly harmless "dad jokes" that empower the oppressive patriarchy? Of coworkers' heteronormative assumptions during happy hours? If so, The Little Book of Woke Jokes is your key to ensuring no hour is ever happy around you again. In it, you'll find over 200 "innocent" jokes, with clear explanations of why they're problematic. For Why was the fraction nervous about marrying the decimal?
Because he would have to convert. The real Because marriage is an oppressive tool of the patriarchy designed to trade and hold women like property. The Little Book of Woke Jokes also makes a great gift for any blue-haired, 20-something who scolds strangers as a hobby. Never run out of lectures again, and - more importantly - prove you're against white supremacy by buying this book.

I actually enjoyed this book for some of the jokes. I will totally keep them in my joke arsenal. That being said, the explanations behind the jokes were hilarious as well. I am one of those people that will go to a gender reveal party and be "upset" with the parents because they are assuming the child's gender. Although recently it is becoming harder and harder to joke like that as more and more people start to believe such things.

Funny but in small doses

This totally made me laugh. The only down side is that even though it is short, I had to read in small doses so I did not get riled up over the state of our world right now. I too, am a moderate. The author’s bio is spot on. The whole book is my kind of fun. If you lean far left or far right, you might not see the humor. Blessings on all who read this. You earned it!

Made My Sides Hurt

Most of these jokes were new to me. I had a blast reading them to friends and family while camping recently. If you don't read the "woke" answers then you can share a lot of them at work. I haven't laughed this hard at a book in a long time.
