Sort Your Sh*t Out: Easy Steps to a Tidy Home, Mind and Life

Rate this book
Sort Your Sh*t Out is the no-nonsense, practical and interactive guide to getting rid of the unnecessary physical and psychological baggage that is holding you back from living a clutter-free life, and organizing yourself so that your life will change for the better, for good. Tidy house, tidy mind goes the saying - so it follows that with an untidy house comes an untidy mind, and an untidy life. With this untidiness comes wasted food when you don't know what you've got in your disorganized cupboards; wasted money when you buy clothes you already have; and wasted time looking for lost items in your mess of a house! Using journalling and life coaching techniques, Sort Your Sh*t Out will guide you through the liberating process of sorting out your mess - and coming out the other side richer in time and money, more organized, more driven and clearer-headed than ever before.

I was pretty happy with this book. First of all it, is one of the first decluttering books that I have read that not only starts with the emotional side, but it also recommends mental health support if and when needed.

Secondly, I've already done the mental health work, so I found that there were useful tips and hints in all categories of rooms - and some were new to me. It's a nicely organized and attractive book with room for notes. I got mine from the Public Library, but I think this book would be a good purchase for a work book for anyone starting the decluttering journey, or for folks with me, it makes a nice reference as I continue my long term changes.

It's well organized and I enjoyed the typewriter type font. It has a nice humorous but empathetic style, and felt like having a nice, understanding friend hanging out with me as I plan my current and ongoing decluttering work!
