An Educational Enjoyable Eye-Opener of Our Past!
Prate does a masterful job of taking readers through the chaos of prejudice and misunderstanding experienced by slaves as their "official" freedom became a law. A blend of heart-tugging characters and evil greedy slave catchers keep the pages turning!
