Averting a Royal Scandal

Oh wow, I loved this novella! It's another great read from Jansen with all the exotic characters, locations and steamy romance I've come to expect.
Princess Zahra has had to watch every step due to her father's indiscretions, so falling in love with another prince in the region without being married will be scandalous if their affair is ever found out.
This story was wonderful and I loved the way it all came together in the end.

This was a great, quick read! Great chemistry, and I felt really bad for the FMC feeling she had no other choice than the decision she made. Of course, it takes an almost tragedy to bring the man to his senses. And great grand gesture at the end! When's book 5 coming out?

Really liked this book. I love the way this author writes sheikh stories, the exotic locations, the exotic people, it draws you right in.
Princess Zahra and her brother have had to put up with a lot from their father the king, as has their nation so when he finally steps down Zahra and Elyas are in the spotlight. This means that everything they do is scrutinised and Zahra is in love with a neighbouring prince - not the fiancee her father has arranged for her.
Interesting novella and am waiting for the next in this series!

Salim and Zahra tell each other they can’t meet any more due to dissidents in their respective nations. Salim is expected to marry a woman from his nation of Jadar. Zahra’s brother Elyas has taken over the rule of their nation Iqar with Zahra as advisor. She finds herself pregnant and Salim tells her he will marry her. But she wants him to tell her that he loves her and he hasn’t said these three words.
Salim loves her and has shown her in many ways but she wants to hear the three little words. When he learns that the pilot on a plane she is on has slumped sideways and a stewardess is bringing in the plane, he is mad at himself for not telling her he loves her. She is pregnant with their child and he is happy about it.
He has her brought to a grand room where the floor is strewn with rose petals and he waits on bended knee. He finally tells her he loves her and wants her to be his wife.
Many times a man tells a woman he loves her when he doesn't really understand what it means. Salim showed her many times how he felt about her without saying the magic words. I think she was acting a little immature about it.

A beautiful romance
I'm in love with Salim and Zahra's story. They were two people who clearly loved each other but couldn't show it in public due to their responsibilities to their respective nations. But now that something unexpected happened, they were forced to be together for real. Well, Salim was in agreement. But Zahra still had her doubts. Turned out, there was no need because Salim felt the same way, she just had no idea. I loved them together, their chemistry was on point. Beautiful story indeed.

Oh I wasn't expecting to get emotional but the last couple of chapters did that. This is not a full length novel like the others in the series. It's a novella but stick packed a punch.
