The Book of Dreams

Rate this book
A book of visualizations for occultists, witches, and Pagans.

“I wish you luck upon your journey through the labyrinth of your imagination. This book can serve as a map for the mind to follow, and I hope it will equally become a vast maze in itself, your imagination losing itself within its pages, many avenues to tread and many junctions to choose from. Remember always, your imagination is the key to it all.”

The Book of Dreams was an unfinished typewritten manuscript by Mark Goddard. He had wanted it to be published, and gave it to his friend, Art Quester, who gave a copy to me after Mark was tragically killed in a car accident in 1988.

Mark was a dedicated occultist, before the internet made occultism more accessible. He had clearly developed a good pathworking technique and read several works on occultism prior to writing these visualizations. There were not as many occult books available in the 1980s as there are now. That makes this book a remarkable achievement for a young man in his early twenties.

The imagery in these visualizations is vivid and well-realized. Each one can be read aloud, or the details memorized and then used as a visualization. They would certainly improve the ability to visualize things in detail.

(Please note, this is not the same Mark Goddard as the one already listed on Goodreads.)
