Of course I love this book, I WROTE IT! But just because I'm biased doesn't mean I'm wrong.
Teens today are so well informed, and many of them are interested in being kinder to their own bodies and the planet, and more compassionate to animals. This is where veganism comes into the picture. If you have a teen in your life who cares about these issues, or is already interested in veganism, or is already vegan and wants to start cooking more, this book is a fantastic resource!
There's an introduction to plant-based eating, with a breakdown of key nutrients that vegans need to include in their diets, and how to choose healthy ingredients. There are cooking tips to help them get started *or* take their culinary adventures to the next level. And, of course, there are 100 easy and delicious recipes that range from classic comfort foods (Lasagna!) to fun takes on old faves (Tofu Scramble Totchos!).

The recipes are simple and easy to follow which is what drew me to this book even though I'm not a teen.
Those that I've tried so far have been delicious (twice baked sweet potatoes, apple pie pancakes and cinnamon sugar twists with cream cheese dip). I look forward to trying more of the recipes. I only wish that there were more photos of more of the recipes.
