Athena Stumbles

Annie Pulkowski is fooling everyone. No one suspects sweet Annie is in fact a notorious criminal hiding in plain sight. Greatly enjoyed this tale of a woman who assumed a false identity to escape a horrible decision made in her youth. The author’s examination of the character’s thoughts, feelings & motivation pulled me into Annie’s predicament & held me there. Highly recommend this book.

Loved this book!

This was an honest and refreshing book to read, as it displayed a personal struggle for a woman that was real, based in the timeframe of the Vietnam War and it's potential repercussions

A definite Good read!

While a thought-provoking and well-written book, I chose to read it while on a cruise; the subject matter is not really cruise reading, and I know that affected my enjoyment of this book.

I still recommend it as a good read, though.

Oddly compelling

Things you are not proud of but have !ived; big life themes. It's a strange path to healing and redemption.
