Can one kiss change everything?

Tilly’s feelings for Connor have always been complicated. She has been fighting them off since she was a teenager, believing that he couldn’t feel the same and would never see her as anything other than his best friend’s little sister.

That is until they kissed…

Connor refuses to acknowledge his feelings for Tilly. She can’t be anything more than a friend. However, his feelings of friendship morph into something more when his protective instincts take over after a maniac nearly kills her.
Could there be something more between them?
Can love and friendship triumph over the obstacles thrown in their way? Will they find love beyond the tide?

Found Beyond the Tide is a friends-to-lovers, brother’s best friend, steamy romance with a mild suspense twist. It is book two in the Beyond the Tide series, which should be read in order, and it contains some scenes of violence.

N. Dune did it again!

Ahhhh. Where do I start. Firstly, I think Connor may have won my heart in this series, and secondly I adored Connor and Tilly together.

This book took the series to new heights and I can't wait for book 3.

Love these characters

I finished this this morning and I was scrolling for more as I just couldn’t get enough of Con and Tils.
Dune has continued the suspense brilliantly and creates such believable characters and relationships that I might be a little bit in love with them all.
I like that the reader is immediately in the minds of Connor and Tilly. It was such a smooth transition from book one, the story follows on where Escape left off and it was a pleasure to be back in Cornwall again.
I also love the hints about book 3 and I’m looking forward to reading Marcus and Chloe’s story.
Highly recommended

Found Beyond The Tide is the second book of the Beyond The Tide Series, this time, continued with Connor and Tilly.

In the first book, we meet Lou and Jay. We quickly learn that Lou is trapped in an abusive relationship that she escapes from, reuniting with her childhood best friend and ex-boyfriend Jay. They soon realise their past feelings for each other are far from over, but their young love is threatened by Lou's psychotic ex still being on the lookout for her.

Now, we get to see Jay's little sister Tilly and his best friend Connor falling in love. In the midst of the four friends soon finding themselves cut up in a murder investigation...

I have to admit, I struggled getting into this one. Tilly wasn't exactly a sweetheart in book 1, so building that sort of sympathy for her was a bit hard for me at first. Therefore, Connor made up for it all. He's such an easy-going, lovable character, it's impossible not to like him right away. And he bakes!!!
The thing is, snooping around in Tilly's head makes it really hard not to like her, too. And now that I'm finished, I might even go as far as to say I liked these two even more than Jay and Lou...

It certainly is a gripping read that'll leave you thirsty for more. I have to say, crime is my least favourite genre ever, but it still works for me since it's just a side story in the book. Its main focus is the romance, so I'm all good.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book once again and can't wait to read the next.

5 ⭐ read

Though this is the second part to the first book, it is based off different characters but characters we already know. However it is still a continuous story of Lou and Jay!

Conner, oh sweet Conner. The good guy, sweet guy. The one who looks after his best friends sister, who would never bettay his best friend... but can you truly stop the feelings of true love.

Tilly, so messed up after the fire and the SECRET! The guilt has eaten her alive for so long, how do you break every single person's heart that you love. You don't, you just hold it all in.

Again N. Dune did such a wonderful and amazing job in the emotional aspects of the book. Yet giving us funny, entertaining, loving and of course drama!

This book was so GOOD!!!!

It was filled with emotion, romance, drama, and STEAM. The passion between Tilly and Connor was so beautifully done that I couldn't put the book down. I was rooting for them the entire book. The excitement and drama that was in the first book continued throughout this story, and kept you turning pages, wondering what was going to happen next.

Honestly, every character is so well done and well rounded that it's hard to choose a favourite. It's like they are all some of my own friends. I can't wait for Chloe and Marcus's story!!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! This is Connor and Tilly's story, and it was beautiful, not to mention HOT! It followed from where book one ended, and it was seamless. I fell into the story and loved all the characters, Tilly the most, but sexy Connor a close second. I laughed out loud at one scene in general and loved the chemistry between these two. I'll now be waiting impatiently for book 3. This is an easy five full stars from me, and I can't wait for Marcus and Chloe's story next!

Okay....I'm not ashamed to admit I've read this book twice. And both times the amount of emotion was unexpected in a great way. I absolutely loved Jay and Lou, but I have to be honest, I couldn't wait for Connor's story. Hes so sweet and caring and vulnerable.
And poor Tilly. I felt so bad for her in this book, well until she got Connor, that is, but the journey she went on made my cry both times. She deserves every gold thing that happens to her from here on out. What a story!!!! I am in love with Dune's world and the characters she has given us and her writing makes it top notch. If you're looking for an easy yet emotional read, this one is for you.

Having binge read and loved Escape beyond the tide, I delved straight into book two.

I absolutely loved who each book in the trilogy focuses on a different set of intertwined characters.

This story focusing on Tilly and Connors relationship. Again expect steam, but the story itself has you swept along waiting to see how their story develops. I was totally rooting for these two to hook up.

I love the way the story builds and mixed romance and thrills throughout.

This is the second one in the series and it's just as good as the first. I was on edge reading it. There's plenty more to unravel in the continuation of the storyline from book one. Although this is Connor and Tilly's it still ties into everything that's happening. Their story definitely hits the feels and will capture you from the beginning. I loved reading. It's an excellent well written story that's a must read.

Loved it

At first, I wasn't sure I'd love Tilly and Connor as much as I loved Lou and Jay. I was pining for them but boy did Tils and Con deliver. A less tense ride than perhaps the first in series, but full of sensual scenes and a different kind of thrilling element, I've thoroughly enjoyed this latest development in the series. I'm very much looking forward to the next one and what I'm sure will be a fantastic conclusion to this tale.

Book 2 of the Beyond The Tide trilogy is a slow burn friends to lovers romance. At the end of Book 1, there has been a terrible incident involving Damon, Tilly’s abusive ex, and in this book, they are still recovering from the impact he has made on all their lives.

I’m not accustomed to slow burn books. In fact, for a while, you wonder if Tilly and Connor will ever get down to it, although they both desperately want to. Usually, if the characters aren’t naked by page 30, I’m breaking out into hives, so I failed to see why they take so bloody long about it, but when they finally do… *fans self.*

I’m gonna say it… take me to church! The heat of the sexy scenes took me by surprise, and for a moment, I thought I might be reading a totally different book. They are HOT, and if you’ve been lulled into a false sense of security, you’ll have a shock. They are so well-written, and so sympathetic to the characters, but their feelings have boiled over, the blue touch paper has been lit and POW!

Until an annoying bloke called Mike hoves in but Connor soon sorts him out. Phew! I hoped this wasn’t going to end on a specious misunderstanding so we would have another book of will they/won’t they, but I’m happy to say, I was extremely satisfied with the ending. It opens the way for another romance in the same universe, with characters we already know and love from the first two books.

Until the sexy scenes, Found is a lovely, gentle romance about two nice people and their ever-interfering family and friends. The book feels real, as if this romance is being played out just down the street from where you live. There’s an undercurrent of tension, caused by Damon, Tilly’s abusive ex. He’s a spectre, hanging over everyone. I feel for Tilly, every time she steps out the apartment she shares with Connor, and at times I did expect Damon to jump out and say ‘boo,’ in a totally unfunny way.

There is an incident near the end, which makes me wonder why Tilly hasn’t moved to the other end of the country as it seems terrifying to me, but I’ll be curious to see how this story is resolved in Book 3!

Book two in the Beyond the Tide trilogy, "Found Beyond the Tide" is Tilly and Connor’s story. Having barely escaped with her life after the violent attack by Damon, Tilly is staying with her old friend Connor. Struggling to cope with the aftermath of the attack and her long buried and complicated feelings for her brother’s best friend, Tilly has decisions to make regarding her future.

An entertaining read in the “brother’s best friend” romance trope, although I had read book one in the trilogy it was a while ago, so I struggled to place all the characters. A quick update at the front of the book would have been helpful. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story and cheered on the main characters, groaning with frustration when their lack of simple communication ensured a delay in them finally admitting the obvious and getting together.

Alongside the romance runs a darker plot of madness, revenge, and murder, and some parts were truly spine-chilling as the depths to which a person can descend were explored. There were also nice subplots involving the side characters and some great family interactions.

Overall, an excellent read for lovers of romantic suspense and especially for those enjoying more realistic British-based fiction.

A fabulous continuation of the Cornish romance mystery. Conner and Tilly face the community adversary and try to finally figire out what they are to each other. Years of denial come out when they realise the danger they're in. Of course, it's not that straightforward, there's some more nonsense to deal with. These books HAVE to be read in order, but set aside an afternoon, get settled in & enjoy!

The Road to Recovery Leads to Romance. Or does it?

Tilly is a child no more and her story is begging to be told. She is recovering from the Damon incident at Connor’s loft, which can be Found Beyond the Tide. This is Tilly and Connor’s book.

There is much tea brewing as well as emotions with the feelings becoming stronger between them. Feelings that have evolved from the labels they placed on each other in childhood to becoming friends. And now, desire has made it clear that their closeness has gone further than friendship, making attempts to resist this realization difficult.

Tilly has an additional struggle she is facing. It is the secret that is eating her up with guilt.

N. Dune effectively portrays the huge part overthinking plays in the difficulties encountered.
