Zuerst einmal muss ich sagen, dass leider das Cover vom Original übernommen wurde. Ich finde, es passt überhaupt nicht es ist viel zu kitschig und unpassend. Außerdem hat das Buch nichts mit" Süßer Leidenschaft" zu tun, da ist der Originaltitel" Business before Pleasure " :( " Erst die Arbeit dann das Vergnügen")eine Million Mal besser und passender. Das hätte man durchaus so lassen können. Wie gesagt mit süßer Leidenschaft hat dieses Buch nichts zu tun, es ist eher eine „rationale“ Liebesgeschichte, es geht um ein altes Hotel und die Renovierungen bzw. Umbauarbeiten daran.
Deshalb erlaube ich mir hier einen Stern abzuziehen, der Inhalt des Buches bekommt von mir die volle Punktzahl !!
Olivia hat liebende Eltern und einen starken Familienzusammenhalt, trotzdem ist sie sehr unsicher in ihrem Arbeitsleben und gibt sehr schnell auf, vor allem sich selbst. Adam hingegen hasst seine Familie und lebt schon sehr lange unabhängig von ihnen. Dieser Kontrast zwischen den beiden Protagonisten macht einen Großteil der Emotionen in diesem Buch aus.
Durch Olivias Unsicherheiten und Adams schlechten Erfahrungen in Bezug auf die Liebe nähern sich beide extrem vorsichtig und zögerlich an und ich fand es sehr spannend, dass dieses Buch ein völlig anderes Thema zeigt. Normalerweise kenne ich "Friends with Benefits" dieses Buch ist ganz klar die Kategorie "Business with Benefits", das hat man eher selten. Zuerst kommt tatsächlich für beide Protagonisten ihr beruflicher Erfolg und das Hotel, wenn auch mit anderen Hintergründen und dann erst nehmen sie sich beide selber wahr. Beide Protagonisten sind sehr schön und emotional beschrieben, und man kann als Leser auch sehr gut nachvollziehen, warum die beiden so handeln. Der Schreibstil ist spannend und zeigt dem Leser immer ganz klar worum es gerade geht.
Auch die Protagonisten des ersten Teils Samantha und Luke spielen eine klitzekleine Rolle und verstärken die Thematik des Buches von der hinterhältigen Scheinwelt der" besseren Gesellschaft". Mit dieser Problematik hat Adam schwer zu kämpfen und es ist wundervoll zu lesen wie zaghaft aber dennoch kraftvoll die Liebe der beiden zueinander diese Missstände auflösten kann.
Fazit: Ein wundervolles Buch , leider mit einem grässlichen Cover und Titel, sodass ich mir hier erlaube einen Stern abzuziehen.

"Süße Leidenschaft" ist der zweite Teil der "Milliardäre von Manhattan" Reihe. Allerdings kann jeder Teil völlig unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden.
Ich habe den ersten Teil der Reihe schon verschlungen und geliebt. Als ich mit diesem Buch angefangen habe zu lesen, war ich vom ersten Satz an darin versunken. Ich habe in meiner Mittagspause damit angefangen und es viel mir wirklich schwer es wieder aus der Hand zu legen. Als ich Zuhause war habe ich auch sehr schnell weiter gelesen. Kurz vor Mitternacht war es vollbracht und ich war fertig. Ich hatte zwar eine verdammt kurze Nacht, aber das hat sich definitiv gelohnt.
Was mir an diesem Buch besonders gut gefallen hat, es gibt ein Wiedersehen mit dem mir liebgewonnen Pärchen aus dem ersten Teil. Zwar nur ein kleines, aber trotzdem habe ich mich sehr darüber gefreut. Adam der ja hier die Hauptrolle spielt, hat dort zwar auch eine kleine Rolle, aber so richtig durfte ich ihn erst hier kennengelernt. Obwohl ich ihn manches mal einfach nicht verstanden habe und zwischendurch gerne mal geschüttelt hätte und gefragt: Warum?? Olivia tat mir manches mal schon sehr leid und ich weiß auch nicht so genau ob ich ihm eine zweite Chance gegeben hätte.
Als ich das Cover das erste mal gesehen habe, bin ich zuerst davon ausgegangen einen historischen Liebesroman zu lesen. In diesem Genre sind solche Cover eher zu finden. Doch historisch ist dieses Buch definitiv nicht.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin macht einfach nur Spaß. Er ist flüssig, locker und leicht. Einmal mit dem Buch angefangen ist es leider auch schon wieder vorbei. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn es mit dieser Reihe weiter gehen würde. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.

Dieses Cover ist sehr gelungen und passt perfekt zu dem ersten Teil. Man kann hier das Paar in der Halle des The Mansion sehen.
Genau um das Hotel The Mansion geht es Olivia, als sie den Auftrag für die Renovierung annimmt. Allerdings weichen ihre Vorstellungen der Restaurierung von denen des Auftraggebers Adam ab. Als es dann auch zwischen den beiden zu knistern beginnt, sind die Probleme vorprogrammiert.
Lasst euch von der Autorin in diesen spannende, bewegende und auch romantische Handlung hineinziehen und schaltet vom Alltag ab. Ich mag die witzigen und schlagfertigen Dialoge der beiden. Ihnen steht ihre Arbeit und der berufliche Erfolg an erster Stelle. Vor allem der Erfolg bei der Umgestaltung des Hotels ist beiden sehr wichtig. Allerdings haben beide unterschiedliche Beweggründe. Auch in der Liebe haben sie unterschiedliche Vorstellungen, die einige Probleme aufwerfen. Lasst euch überraschen, ob sie es schaffen.

She doesn't want all the changes and although she is trustworthy and honest she does do things she shouldn't. She does whatever it takes!
Adam doesn't mix business with pleasure that is until her...
She not only will turn his ideas for The Mansion upside down but also his heart if he isn't careful. Is that so bad?
This was a really well-written book. And a new to me author.

I just have to say how impressed I am with Natasha Grace’s writing. If you didn’t know this was her second book, you would think she has written a lot more, when you finish this beautiful, moving story. I absolutely adored Olivia and Adam’s story and how much they each loved their deceased grandfather’s. Olivia and Adam meet, when he purchases The Mansion, Olivia’s grandfather’s first hotel. She doesn’t agree with his renovation plans, but when her father, Victor, chooses her to work on the project with Adam, she can’t believe her luck. Olivia and Adam grow close, but it’s not all smooth sailing. I won’t leave any spoilers, but Adam has no plans to marry and you’ll know why, after reading about his parents. Grab your copy of this amazing book and see if Olivia will get her happily ever after.

I loved Olivia and Adam! It's hard to believe this is Natasha's second book. Adam and Olivia both grew up wanting to keep their grandfather's legacies alive. Olivia's wish was to get back The Mansion, his first and her favorite hotel that he had sold years ago. While Adam was not able to get involve with his grandfather's business because of his parents and their relationship. Now Olivia is working with Adam who is the new owner of The Mansion and both have opposite ideas for the renovation. I loved how these two grew to understand the other in business and in life. While they each had such different upbringings, they both had the same values even if it took Adam longer to realize. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for more from this author!

This is the 2nd book in the Billionaires of Manhattan series featuring the wonderful romance between Adam and Olivia. Adam and Olivia meet when he purchases The Mansion her grandfather's 1st hotel and her favorite that her grandfather was forced to sell in the 80's. Olivia has been hired to do the restoration work the only problem is that her and Adam have completely different things in mind for the renovations. They both want to keep their grandfather's legacies alive it's very important to both of them. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this wonderful romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

A terrific read!
It’s hard to believe that Ms. Grace has only published one other book, as this one is terrific. Olivia and Adam meet when he purchases her grandfather’s first hotel, The Mansion. They are supposed to be working together on the restoration and end up not only attracted to each other but also absolutely opposed on some aspects of the restoration.
They are able to work their professional differences out easily; however, things are somewhat rocky on the personal side. This story will draw you in and kept your rapt attention until the very last wonderful word.

Sultry next generation hotel baron kids move from rivals to lovers in this quick but entertaining read. Book 2 of Billionaires of Manhattan series, this story takes the reader on push and pull of attraction and tension between two likable characters - Olivia and Adam.
Driven by desire to do right by the past generation, and to also fill the shoes of strongly "present" parents, the growing relationship between our MMF and FMF is a slow burn but a moving one.
You care about thee two - which makes this a great read.

Low Key But Completely Satisfying!
Olivia and Adam has much in common. Both come from old hotelier money and a passion for building and running them. Their difference, mainly parents, plays a pivotal role in the development and nurturing of their romance. While the storyline never gets overly dramatic (as can happen with toxic parents) it gets its points nicely and keeps the narrative moving along nicely.
I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and satisfaction. PEACE.

Usually, I'm not a fan of billionnaire romances, but I did enjoy this one.
The contrast between Olivia and Adam and their desire in their work life worked really well when coupled with their feelings for one another.
Although it's a stand alone, the references to the first book made me want to read that, so when I get a free few days, I will certainly be checking that one out because I would like to know more.

Olivia Montgomery wants to buy back and restore her grandfather’s old hotel, The Mansion, but she finds that it has been bought by Adam Campbell, who plans to gut it and make it a modern hotel. Adam comes to Olivia's family firm to partner on the rebuild and Olivia is assigned the design job. Can she convince Adam that it's history has charm and can make him money?

This was a good story. I liked both the characters and thought their focus on their grandfathers was really nice even if they end up a bit opposed because of it. But I like how they interact and go toe to toe without going overboard. And the ending was really nicely done.

This is the second book in the Billionaires of Manhattan series featuring Adam and Olivia. This is a wonderful page turner and kept me captivated from the first page. I recommend reading this and I look forward to reading more from the author.

There's chemistry, desire, attraction and romance that keeps you turning the pages. What they tried to fight against won out in the end and love won. The story line is well written, captivating, enjoyable and so much more.

This book was boring. I liked the area of the hospitality industry angle but Olivia and Adam seemed so boring. The story seemed endless without going anywhere. It felt to me as if everything was overly explained and the romance was just not there for me. Sorry this was not a good fit for me.
