Playing the Wrong Game

THIS TITLE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

For Roman, sexual gratification is the ultimate high; addictive and all-consuming. It must be attained, no matter the cost to himself or the Blackthorne family reputation.

Considered by many to be handsome, arrogant, and tough, within him sits a ruthless determination to succeed, no matter who he steps on to achieve his goals.

But at the forefront of his actions lies the need for praise, and what better way to stroke his out-of-control ego than to seduce the lonely, bored housewives of upper-crust society and occasionally their willing daughters, amongst others.

Not averse to broadening his horizons, Roman plays the field while refusing to use gender as a barrier to halt winning the ultimate prize; the hedonistic pursuit of pleasure and sensual self-indulgence.

Leon Blackthorne: hard-nosed Managing Director of Kensington Renovations. As wily and arrogant as his son, Roman, he rules with an iron fist, a trait which is the root cause of battle lines drawn between father and son. He knows what he wants and gets it, but at the heart of his desire to maintain the enormous success that shaped his professional life is the hope his only child will succeed him and continue the family name. In his hour of need, Roman reaches out, and while initially dismayed at the mess his son has found himself in, he’s only too happy to step into the quagmire of extortion and hush-money, especially when the Blackthorne family name is threatened.

Designed to melt your Kindle, this is the fourth book from the 'Hot In the City' series of hot and steamy, suspenseful, erotic short stories by best-selling authors, Zane Michaelson, and Kaylee Rose...enjoy the ride because it's gonna get wild!

My name is Zane Michaelson and I am a best-selling, multi-genre author with over fifty titles released.

I was born and raised in the North West of England but moved away to study Law at University, before returning and meeting the woman of my dreams.

Now I live in Spain with my beautiful wife, four wonderful children, who are the lights of my life, and a host of animals.

It has been four years since my debut release, and I still have so much to say.

With more books planned, including further co-writes with my wife Jenna Michaelson and fellow author, Kaylee Rose, I'm excited for what the future brings.

This series is full of twists, turns, adventure, and so many sexy times! While this book is more focused on the aftermath of Roman’s bad decisions, it leads us down the path of mystery, intrigue, and suspense! The deeper I delve into this series, the more I’m wondering…who is after Roman Blackthorne??? The description says this series is designed to melt your kindle. It didn’t. It lit the damn thing on fire, scorched it into a smoldering hot mess, and left me with the ruins of Roman’s life, along with all his wild sexual encounters. I highly recommend this entire series, and can’t wait to read about the fallout!

Another nail biting read as this story continues to build, leaving me guessing and asking questions to who may be involved in the situation that Roman finds himself in. Sooo good!

Very well written. Loved how Roman's father stepped up to help because of his love for his son. So looking forward to the next book to see what happens to Roman.

This is an amazing series that keeps getting better and better with each short story. The characters are interesting, and it is full of twists, turns and mystery that keep you flipping the pages.

It does end with a cliffhanger.
