അന്നത്തെ രാത്രി ഇടിയും മിന്നലും മഴയും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒന്നായിരുന്നു. പുഷ്പരാജിന്റെ യാത്രയ്ക്ക് അതു പ്രയോജനം ചെയ്തു. ബംഗ്ലാവിലേക്കു പോകുന്നത് ആരുംതന്നെ കാണുകയില്ലല്ലോ എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ആശ്വസിച്ചു. അരമണിക്കൂറിനകം നിലാവ് മല മുകളിൽ എത്തുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് തിടുക്കത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം നടന്നത്. നിലാവുദിച്ചാൽ ആ താഴ്വരയാകെ മഞ്ഞവെളിച്ചത്തിൽ കുളിക്കും, ബംഗ്ലാവ് എവിടെ നിന്നാലും കാണാം. എന്നാൽ ബംഗ്ലാവിന്റെ വളപ്പിൽ കയറിയാൽ മറഞ്ഞുനില്ക്കുവാൻ പൈൻ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. അവിടെയെത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. പുഷ്പരാജ് അതിവേഗം നടന്നു. പതിനഞ്ചുമിനിറ്റുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം ബംഗ്ലാവിനടുത്തെത്തി. നിശ്ശബ്ദത ആ പ്രദേശത്തെ ആവരണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

Good story

Good story line. Good suspense elements and author has tried to keep the story as a page turner. But could have been much better.
