As a fellow working dog owner, some of these stories hit close to home. It was lovely to see how much others dogs have done, quite how far these dogs can go and the way they've changed the lives of those around them. I'm very rarely a crier, with either books or films, but this book took me really close. From lives being saved, changed outlooks in lives or granting someone the best end to theirs, this book isn't purely a quick read, it's heavy and emotional, but written nicely and succinctly.

Settle down with a cuppa and feed your soul with the kindness of dogs. This collection of six short true life stories makes for a lovely book showing how wonderfully loving and clever dogs can be, and how good they can be for our souls. You might also want a pack of tissues as it's a little heart wrenching in places too! Each dog in this collection has a purpose, and when they find the right companion it seems like fate brought dog and human together.

Just beautiful!! Such lovely heart warming stories of families who have owned a dog and how their impact is so positively expressed in their lives. We have a Yorkie and she is just as adorable 🧡
