Years earlier, Robert had found a fossil on a Florida beach near his home. His half-blood Native American grandmother who has the power of “second sight” had predicted that the fossil would be the guide to his destiny. But he loses the talisman, so the resolution of his destiny is now unclear. This leaves a question hovering over his romance with Sara. Will the outcome in The Tryst Trees, be the destiny that his grandmother had predicted for Robert?

The Tryst Trees: Desert Illusions Series by Wolfgang is a contemporary romance of two people of different personalities and the strong connection between them. Sara is heartbroken from the betrayal of the one whom she loved; she leaves and finds a comforting place to overcome her grief. Soon the loneliness and emptiness shadow her life which leaves her restless but little did she know fate has yet to embark her on a of journey of love. The story progresses, Sara meets Robert, and they fall passionately in love and become a part of each other's life. But Robert leaves for college and Sara is yet again left in pain but the mystery twist in their destinies is an incredible point for their love.

I really enjoyed the book and could not keep myself from finishing it in a go. The author provides plenty of information on the character's personalities which provides an immense help to grasp the story. Overall, the storyline is captivating and exciting as two individuals of different personalities fall in love and how destiny plays a part for their romance. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fierce love stories. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Her life starts to take off when she meets Robert. However, fate didn't keep them together. The story flows with the life changes of Robert and Sara after their detachment. This adult fiction is all about the deep and entrenched romance between couples. Adding to this, the writer shows how characters, like Sara, feel the emptiness in life as same as the desert she lives in. This depicts how the souls are wounded and takes time for healing.

I like the love angle between the couples and Mr. Black had wonderfully illustrated their romance. Also, hope and betrayal are the two aspects played throughout the story. So besides, a love story novel shows how one life changes when people come and go from their life.

The Tryst Trees is full of great details that I enjoyed a lot and I dare to say that I loved this masterpiece on several levels. First of all, the plot is well thought out and entertaining with a perfect conclusion. Secondly, the setting and time are different from the standard which gave the book a special turn. Finally, it contains a fantastic characterization. Robert and Sara are the perfect blend of personalities and while most fictions seem to lack back stories, this author did an amazing job giving enough information to understand the characters without wasting pages on useless facts. By the end of the work, I was in love with these two and would have wanted to know them. I don’t know if they were based on real people but the writer’s job is really good on creating characters that leave an impression.

“The Tryst Trees” is an alluring romantic novel. It is the first book in the series called “Desert Illusion”. Wolfgang Black has penned a story full of profound and overwhelming emotions. I was hooked from the very beginning.
The story revolves around Sarah who yearns to find peace and happiness after overcoming difficult situations. Her life changes for the better and experiences an intense relationship with a man, but all of the sudden it will take a different turn.
The author´s writing style is so nice that I could feel what the main characters experienced. There are so many ups and downs that made the plot much more exciting. I highly recommend it to adult readers interested in intense love stories!

The Tryst Trees: Desert Illusion series is the first book in a romantic story about Sara, a girl that is broken-hearted and runs off to her hometown to relax and try to have a regular life where, eventually, she fits in. But as with everything in life, the rut can be really hard for people that get bored pretty easily like her, so she ends up meeting Robert, a sexy co-worker that has her head over hills. And a mysterious yet passionate love story begins.
This book was fantastic; the story, the characters and the descriptions are just perfect. I love how Sara and Robert’s relationship grows in the book, and I especially enjoyed that mystery twist in their destinies. I'm looking forward to keeping on reading about these two! I recommend it a 100%

A contemporary romantic novel for adults
“The Tryst Tree” is a fiction for adults written by an author behind the pseudonym Wolfgang Black.
The mystery author’s proposal in writing a fiction for adults is interesting though I was not totally convinced by the plot. There is a mixture of interesting ideas inside these covers, and I was left with a feeling that I needed more - more explanations, more descriptions.
As this is the first book from the series, I really hope that this story continues in the following books.
I do believe that the story is promising but I did not completely understand it. I felt really attracted by the characters, and I do trust the author, for this reason I will give the second book of the series a chance.

The Tryst Trees is the first book of the Desert Illusion series by author Wolfgang Black, that takes place in the late sixties and early seventies. The core of the series is quite original: a young man, on a journey to find his destiny, meets (in each book) a different sexually liberated female and with each one, he finds different possible paths for his life.

In this first one, Robert meets Sara, a licentious girl who promised herself to never fall in love again. This results in an interesting mature adult fiction, full of romance and sexual advances that stimulates the imagination of the reader.

This novel is well-paced and full of surprises. Romance readers will be delighted.

'The Tryst Trees' by Wolfgang Black is a love story between two individuals who crossed paths for a reason which you have to find out for yourself😆 . I liked how the author described the setting, it was a detailed account of the surroundings, like for example , it transposed me to the camp during camp scenes, or even the van scenes, it made me want to eat BBQ chicken. The heroine does not fall under one heroine archetype , her character development is very interesting and entertaining. Some girls might even be able to relate to her at one point of her journey.On the other hand one might say Robert is a breath of fresh air, a non-domineering-kind-smart-kind male lead. Over all this book is perfect for a quick leisure reading. Contemplating on purchasing the second book, Jason sounds like a very interesting character too.

It is good , I liked how Robert was not your typical tortured soul or rich handsome man with control issues male lead. I actually learned something from him . Sara is someone ni think I would like to be my friend , maybe end up accompanying her to stalk her ex. I just wished the chapters were a little bit longer.

While I enjoyed the overall story, I wasn't emotionally invested in Sara or Robert. The writing style was like reading a high school essay. There wasn't emotional depth given to the characters. I was told everything they did and thought, I wasn't able to experience it.

As the first book in this series, The Tryst Trees sets the stage for an exciting storyline. This first book is a bit slow but certainly catches your attention with the spicy scenes and intriguing character backgrounds. SC and Robert are two peas in a pod in a weird way that just simply works. I'm anxious to dive into how their relationship pans out with book #2.
