The Penguins are playing against the Otters in an exciting hockey game on their home turf, and with all sorts of funny rhymes detailing each play, children can follow along and cheer for their favourite team, right up til the final score! Ryan and Bowers Studio bring little readers a fun introduction to the world of hockey, its rhyming scheme a tad uneven but made up for by its crisp artwork.

For the most part, this book is adorable and clever, but some of the rhymes are a stretch.
